The "Kings Island" is known for it´s nature and walking trails along the shoreline. here you will find great restaurants, bars and cafes as well as the city zoo Skansen, the amusement park Gröna Lund, museums and many other famous attractions. There is something for everyone. Getting Around3 minutes to the local bus line 69. It passes Djurgårdsbron where you can access the tram, then continues on beautiful high street Strandvägen, continuing into the city´s high end shopping district.
Should you get bored of the local surroundings, we recommend a trip into Old Town, area around Stureplan or Södermalm, for shopping, bars and restaurants.
It takes 25 minutes to/ from T-Centralen, where you have connections to the city´s subway system, as well as Arlanda Express.
Taxi straight to/ from Arlanda takes about 55minutes. We recommend Taxi Stockholm for this. Other Things to NoteFor those who might be allergic to animals, we have two small dogs living in the house.
In general we do not accept pets, but should you have a small dog, we can accept this for an additional separate deposit.
The open fireplace may not be used May- Sept, as it is then too warm outside for the chimney to work properly.
