Guest AccessSonneg Chalet Description and Location Brand new on the Saas-Fee scene, Sonneg Lodge (translated as Sunny Lodge because of its position in the Saas Fee village which enjoys much longer hours of natural sunlight than the lower village) is an architect designed luxury accommodation combining the charm and the warmth of a traditional Alpine Chalet with the best of contemporary modern design. The building comprises of three stunning apartments which are let separately or can be booked together for larger parties. Ideally situated within 100 meters from the central village car park, which allows easy access for the loading/unloading of luggage/ski equipment, it is also a short 5 minutes’ walk down to the heart of the village and dozens of restaurants which are scattered throughout the village, some just a few minutes’ walk away. The ski lifts are a pleasant 10 minutes’ walk away or a very short ski-shuttle bus ride away (free with a ski pass). The NeighborhoodSaas-Fee, known as the pearl of the Alps, is unquestionably one of the prettiest Alpine ski villages in Europe. Add guaranteed snow-sure slopes and year round skiing (even in August) and you have the recipe for a truly memorable Alpine experience! Saas-Fee was named the best ski resort in Switzerland 2012 and came second internationally, out of a selection of 55 top ski resorts in Austria, Germany, Italy, France and Switzerland! The SpaceChalet Eichhorn has fully been renovated in 2016. We are happy to rent our this pearl of a Swiss Chalet to like minded people. If you don't mind walking a few steps further and benefit from tons of sunshine and nature you are our perfect guest! Enjoy our brand new open kitchen/living space, floor heating everywhere and a brand new en suite-bedroom. We are located next to a picturesque forest with hiking trails, open fire places, playground and fitness trail (summer), cross country slope (winter). In a 5min walk you get to the bus stop for free transport to the ski lifts in winter time. It is a pleasant 10min walk to the centre of Saas Fee where you find supermarkets, banks, pharmacy, restaurants and shops. The neighbourhood of "Täli" is absolutely quiet and peaceful. This place is perfect to relax, enjoy outdoor activities (sledding, skiing, cross country, builing snow men) and let go of a stressful daily life. A place to chill and breathe. Saas fee is car free. You will park the car in the central parking and get around by foot or electric taxi. In the winter season you have access to free ski bus or electric train (fun!) within 350m from the house. Check it out on Youtube. Täli means "small valley" and is hosting a group of traditional chalets. A great place to recharge and connect with nature. Getting AroundSaas fee is car free. You will park the car in the central parking house and get around by foot or electric taxi. In the winter season you have access to free ski bus or electric train within 350m from the house. Located on the main square the Dom Hotel is the centre point of the village and its bars and restaurants are popular with residents and guests alike. The Dom Hotel provides free transfers to and from the Chalet for guests and their luggage on arrival and departure and provides full support to guests throughout their stay in the chalet. The NeighborhoodIt is approximately a 10 minute walk along a flat gradient from the chalet to the centre of the village. During the ski season every 30 minutes the Saas Fee ski train collects skiers from stops in the village and transports them to the main lift area. The stop for the train is located approximately 75 meters from the chalet. On the ski train it takes approximately 5 minutes to reach the ski lifts. One of the nicest rustic restaurants for traditional Swiss Rosti and Fondue in Saas Fee is a 200 meters or so walk from the chalet – the Schaeferstube- great food, romantic and cosy. The SpaceA rarity on the rental market, Chalet Daphne is a stand-alone, detached chalet. No noise from other apartments! It has been recently renovated to the highest standards, underfloor heating throughout. Traditional on the exterior, the chalet's interior is in a contemporary style with the highest quality fittings. The chalet is on three floors with the kitchen/living/dining area on the top floor benefiting from superb view in all directions. An ultra modern kitchen with island hob and fitted appliances is generously equipped. The dining area seats 8 people and the sitting area benefits from a wood-burning stove for a cosy feel. An open staircase leads to the second floor with master bedroom that has built-in furniture in old wood. The second bedroom on this level has twin beds. The bathroom is fully tiled with underfloor heating, bath, shower wet-room and double sink. On the bottom floor is a bunk room and a twin bedroom. The chalet accommodates 8. The shower wet-rooms boast rain showers. Ski/luggage room. Wi-fi. iPod dock. Burgerpass included in price. Guest AccessSummer There is lots to do here in the summer: Ski on the glaciers till 1pm . Hike on one of the many trails (most of the lifts are open to take you to the top of the mountains). Hire a mountain bike, clamber and zip wire your way through the adventure forest, have a wild barbeque in the meadow, feed the marmots at the top of the mountain, scoot down the Hannig mountain, rock or ice climb. Walk over the Monte Moro pass into Italy. Or just relax on the balconies and drink in the view. Summer is usually sunny and warm. Winter Voted 'Switzerland's best ski resort' in 2012, snow is guaranteed in Saas Fee thanks to the resort's high glaciers (3500m). Skiing is extensive and queues are uncommon. For the non-skiier the village is walking distance from the chalet with a number of shops and cosy traditional restaurants serving top-quality food. For the more adventurous there is one mountain dedicated to toboganning, or try sledding with huskies. Saas Fee can be reached by train from Zurich or Geneva and as such no car is needed. The SpaceThe apartment provides over 140 square metres and comprises a master suite, three bathrooms, a living room, a dining room and an open kitchen, two additional bedrooms and a bathroom with whirlpool in the gallery. We are able to offer accommodation for up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms in the roof top apartment in the building „Alte Post“ in Saas-Fee with an ambience for upmarket tastes. The building Alte Post is almost 200 years old and was fully refurbished in 2005. We kept the spirit and warmth of the chalet character both from the outside and the inside and added modern standards of a luxury retreat. We are located right at the center of the village. Shops, slopes, and night life are in walking distance. Guest AccessGuest have access to washer and dryer, a fully equipped kitchen, and a whirlpool. All is solely for their use and does not have to be shared with anybody else in the house. Interaction with GuestsGuest will be by themselves in the apartment. A housekeeper will be available for any questions. The NeighborhoodSaas-Fee has lots to offer, both in winter and and summer. Please refer to (URL HIDDEN) for further information. On t kitchen with dishwasher together with a large living-dining-room and a sunny terrace with dramatic view. Bathroom / WC. At the top level (not accessible to persons with reduced mobility), 1 bedroom with two 90x200 cm beds and nice mezzanine with 1 bed 140x200 cm. Shower / WC. Cable TV with dozens of channels in many languages, WIFI. Ski locker. Guest AccessSaas Fee, the Pearl of the Alps, alt. 1800 m, it is equipped to receive throughout the year the nature lovers, sportsmen and those who aspire to a moment of calm and serenity outside the urbanized and motorized stress. The village offers a complete tourist facilities: 22 ski lifts in winter, 10 in summer (summer skiing) with the highest subway in the world (3456 m.), Skating rink, curling rink, toboggan run, ski slopes background, sports ground, indoor swimming pool, indoor and outdoor tennis, golf training, hiking, trade and cinema Interaction with GuestsGuests will take full advantage of their independence: we do not live on site. The NeighborhoodJudith is a house built in 2000 overlooking the church and the village center. At 100 meters from shops, quiet with panoramic views of the village and mountains. Access, however, is quite steep and not suitable for people with reduced mobility (stairs from the street to the entrance of the building). Access on foot and within minutes to the ski slopes and lifts. Getting Around You can reach Saas Fee by car or bus from Visp. The car must be parked in a large car park at the entrance of the village. Luggage can be brought on foot or by electric taxi (approximately CHF 25 one way). The interior of the living room on the first floor is decorated as a traditional Swiss chalet with old wooden furniture and a fireplace.Dining room for 8 persons with a integrated racletteset and a fondue set..There is a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area for 6 persons and a toilet on the first floor as well. The chalet accommodates 8 people. On the second (top) floor there are 2 bedrooms with a double bed, desk and closets each and 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds and a closet each. All 4 bedrooms are equipped with a sink. The baker, supermarket is 3 minutes walk, The guests will be picked up from the bus station or the carpark by an electric taxi offered for free by us. From Geneva, Zürich, Milaan you can take a train to Visp go to Saas-Fee by bus. You can by on very good conditiones abonnments for Fr 299.00 until 24th of december, this abonnment is valid for the whole winter Saison, so be haps you decide to visist the skiing airea of Saas-fee, serveral times, Saas-Fee received the price for best snow conditions and best security on ski slopes. Apartment with to double rooms, kitchen-livingroom,shower wc, balcony. The apartment is well equipt, I live in the same house, and can help you out with things you need. The third bedroom is equipped with bunks and ideally suited to children. All bedrooms have built in wardrobes and shelves. Baby cot available. Both bathrooms have a shower, basin and toilet (installed in 2014 and 2015). Upstairs is a large living, dinning and kitchen area. The dinning area can seat up to 10 people and looks out on to the mountains. The living room is complete with a 32 inch TV and cable TV (300 channels). Melissa and Marnin have been married for approximately five years. Melissa is from a suburb of Atlanta. Marnin was born in a little village called New York City. Funnily enough, Melissa had lived in New York almost a decade and it took a business trip to Zurich for them to meet. Marnin is in denial that this was a fix up‌. While both have incredibly high stress jobs, Melissa is the CEO of an NGO and Marnin is a partner at a large law firm, their apartment in Saas Fee is a refuge from the craziness of their lives. It's a real advantage that neither run into work colleagues and acquaintances while having the opportunity to ski and hike. However, that has not stopped Marnin from getting involved in local activities. Marnin is now a director of the Waldhotel Fletschhorn, a guid Michelin restaurant in Saas Fee which also owns a coffee shop in the village and two restaurants on the mountain. Marnin is an avid hiker, having hiked in places as far south as Patagonia and as far north as Northern New York. He's been to Nepal and Ethiopia several times. Several years ago, Marnin and Melissa went to Burma to hike in rural Burma to enjoy the last remnant of undisturbed Asian culture just to learn that the locals had been converted to Baptist Christians by missionaries in the 1950s. When he got there, they offered him grapefruit from seeds in California! Marnin broke his leg skiing when he was 12 and had a cousin pass away from a skiing accident. He did not get on the slopes again for almost 30 years and this year was able to ski “redsâ€? from top to bottom. Melissa loves to read, travel and is a devoted yogi.                       The SpaceThe Hostel Walser is situated near the tourist office, down the road to the village after 50 m on the left side opposite the UBS Bank. It has 19 rooms with 35 beds. These are located in the second to the fourth floor. With the hotel elevator you can easily reach the rooms. Our rooms are equipped with shower, WC, hairdryer, TV and balcony. Guest AccessYour room will be ready after 2.00 pm on arrival day. Please contact us if you will arrive after 9 pm. We ask you to leave the room until 10.00 am on departure day. Interaction with GuestsFor your questions please contact the Hotel Tenne. The reception is occupied from 8 am to 10 pm. or you can call us on (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN).
