There are small markets, a pharmacy, a few restaurants and bars, less than 5 minutes walking in the direction of the city center. There are also bigger supermarkets all around (Bergières, Metropole). Getting AroundConnections : Station : 8 minutes with the bus 21. City centre (St-François / Bel air) : around 7 minutes with buses 2 and 4. Lake (Ouchy) : 20 minutes with bus 2.

Bus number 3 and 2 easily accessible, close to city center. The apartment is perfect for a stay in Lausanne to enjoy this beautiful city. The nightspots are good to know, but it's good to feel like being at home in an apartment like this one after a good restaurant or a party. The SpaceOverlooking Lake Geneva with a view of the Alps, we are ideally located in a quiet corner of Lausanne, right near CHAILLY village. Our place is situated only 10 minutes away by car from the most beautiful beaches on this side of the lake. We can accomodate up to 2 persons, and we provide breakfast (included in the price). Guests will also have access to WIFI internet. You can reach us by taking the metro (get off at the Sallaz stop) or by bus from Place de St. François (number 7 to Chailly). A post office, bakeries, nice shops and quaint cafés are all located two minutes away by foot. We recommend you to visit Lutry, a gorgeous little medieval village, also ten minutes away. This is the French part of Switzerland, so the wine, cheese, and bread are wonderful. We have a cat and welcome non smokers in this room. Interaction with GuestsAs much or as little as they wish. We give advice but also allow guests their own space. The NeighborhoodWe live in a quiet neighbourhood, surrounded by trees. We are only located two minutes away from the City Centre. This is a beautiful, traditional hotel with excellent decor, offering a superb standard of service. Hotel also has Cinq Mondes Spa with 1500m2 surface. Location This hotel is situated by the lake, surrounded by magnificent parklands and overlooking the Alps. It is also conveniently located close to the railway station. The rooms are decorated in a traditional style and the rooms and bathrooms are in excellent condition. The superior rooms offer breathtaking views over the lake (partial lake view). Restaurant There is a French 'brasserie' style restaurant Cafe Beau-Rivage as well as an international restaurant which offers gourmet dishes and has magnificent views of the lake and mountains. The SpaceThe flat is very pleasant, bright and cosy. It is very well located, 10 minutes walking from the station and 10 minutes walking to the center. Supermarkets are also located closeby (close to the station or Saint François, also less than 10 minutes walking). Guest AccessDepending on the times, I may be renting only the room, or the whole appartment (in case I am travelling) The guests will have access to the whole flat, except for my room. The bathroom is shared. Interaction with GuestsDepending on the occasion, I may spend time with the guest, for a coffee for example. But most of the times, I expect I will be busy with my own things. I cook at home very often so we will probably see each other in the kitchen! I travel regularly so it may also be you have some time on your own too. The NeighborhoodDepending on the times, I may be renting only the room, or the whole appartment (in case I am travelling) Getting AroundIt is very easy to reach the flat: 10 minutes walk from the Lausanne train station. In case you have a lot of luggage, bus 1 from the station will take you there too (Stop "Georgette"). Other Things to NoteI would prefer to rent the room for a long term stay (at least one month) but we can discuss.

The SpaceThe 1 room studio is located in the centre town and the accesses to the public transport are close. Shopping, supermarkets and restaurants are near by the studio. You can be in 5 minutes in the Old Town, where you can visit the cathedral or walking in the little streets of the "Cité". The underground can bring you in a few minutes to the lake and you can also visit the Olympic museum. The place is also good for the night life. It's in the same building of a concert venue which is open from Wednesday to Saturday. On week-ends, it's unfortunately noisy. Beware of the fact that there is no lift in the building and that the flat is at the 4th floor. – 2 single beds – 1 foldable bed – 1 bed-settee for 2 – A small kitchen – a bathroom with toilets and shower. Towel and sheets are included in the price. We don't rent for long periods during the year. It's possible only in the summer (from june till september). You have public transport close: taxis station, subway station at 100m (less 10min to go to the lake with, and 4 min to the train station) You are in the center !!!! Enjoy your stay. Guest AccessYou have access at the all place and you are alone in. Interaction with GuestsIn general, you will find someone to help during the office period (9am – 5pm) during week days, in the appartement 1 floor under in front of the studio. You can normally reach me by phone too. The NeighborhoodThe appartement is in a pedestrian street, where luxury and bohemian are together. On Wednesdays and Saturdays mornings, there is the street market where you can find local vegetables and fruits and also other products. You have also supermarkets very close. You are very close of the old town with the cathedral. Getting AroundBeing in the center, you are close of the subway, the bus and taxi. In 10 minutes, you can be on the top of the town as well as in front of the lake. The train station is also very close ! Other Things to NoteThere is no laundry machine in the studio but we can manage a washing at the office if you need. We can also give you a second key set of the appartement if you need.

The SpaceThe name of the street tells everything: Rue Centrale. ; ) The apartment is located in one of the best areas to enjoy Lausanne: a few minutes walking from the Riponne place, the Flon area, the cathedral and the main touristic attractions in the city. Direct connection with Ouchy (10 mins), Lausanne's area to enjoy the Leman Lake and the Alpes as skyline. It is an all outside apartment with a big and brightful living room: natural light during the whole day thanks to south exposure. The charming balcony in the living room is perfect to enjoy a relaxing breakfast in the open air. The spacious and elegantly furnished bedroom has a fitted wardrobe and a king size bed (1,60). The kitchen is independent and equiped with all you can need during your visit. In the apartment you will find as part of the furniture and decoration, little vintage articles acquired in several typical swiss second-hand markets. Therefore, the apartment is full of stories! If your visit includes a weekend, we encourage you to reserve sunday morning to discover the market in Riponne square. If you are lucky, you will find genuine treasures!

Our "backyard" is a beautiful rolling hill down to the Hermitage Museum. Above us is a great walk in the woods and a small lake where there are animals to see (sheep, goats, cows, etc). Great for kids. A stone's throw from us is the Suisse Chalet where you can enjoy some spectacular views and a fondue. Getting AroundTwo minute walk to a bus that can bring you directly into the center of town if you don't feel like walking. There is a larger bus stop about a 7 minute walk away that has another 4 or 5 bus lines to bring you anywhere you need basically.

    The SpaceA big 4.5 rooms of 110m2 ver comfortable in the heart of the city (« sous-gare ») and really close from all public transportation (5mn from the main train station, 5 minutes from subway, bus number 2 in front of the building). You’ll find in this neighbourhood a few museums (Olympic museum, Elysee museum, access in 15 minutes by direct bus to the unique and amazing Musee d'art brut). The port of Ouchy is located a few minutes by foot (or direct bus in 3 minutes). We can freely provide sometimes 2 electric bikes that is an excellent way to visit the city. Thank you to tell us if you would be interested as they're not always available. We have an absolutely lovely and gentle cat who will be present during your stay and we just ask to take care of her (eesentially by feeding her !). It’s extremely close ot the Leman lake (a few minutes by foot), You can walk along the lake and enjoy the nice bars along. There are many cruises from the port (5mn from the house) to go to Switzerland or France (try the old boats of 100 years…). Supermarket located in the street, 5 minutes from the apartment by foot and a small supermarket open 7 days a week till 21h in the street (5mn by walk or 2 minutes by bus in front of the apartment). Getting AroundThe apartment is located 5 minutes by foot from the train station of Lausanne . Directly from Geneva airport, there are many direct trains (about 35 minutes). Bus number 2 in front of the building. Metro 3 minutes by foot (Delices or Grancy) Other Things to NoteMontreux is 15mn by direct train from Lausanne. Ski stations : by train around 1h-1h30

    The SpaceHi, We're a nice couple living for two years in the Olympical city of Lausanne. We have an extra room that we'd like to share with you in case you need it. There's a supermarket opened 7/7 and any other facilities nearby. Everything is within walking distance. The pedestrian area center is 2 streets away. Mall / Pharmacy 5 min Bus 3/21 one minute away, direct to train station. Metro 2 - Riponne - Maurice Béjart 4 minutes away. 2 stations away to Central Train Station. Quiet place, building garden just outside bedroom windows. The flat is fully equipped : kitchen hoven/4 gas cooktop/Big fridge. Robot for cooking etc. Everything for day to day life : Washing machines in the basement. High Speed Internet/Cable TV/ computer loan We sleep in the room next to yours, probably not around during the day but depends on our schedule. We totally respect your privacy. We can give you some tips if you want to go around. Very central, very quiet, all facilities nearby.
