The SpaceMost stunning at this house is it's view at the old church and nearby dike. In the evening the church is lighted until about 10 pm.
The kitchen is fully equipped. There is an oven, microwave, freezer etc etc. Furthermore in the house you'll have free access to fast and wireless internet, television (40 channels) and central heating. If you like it to be even more cozy you can also use the wood-stoves.
In the master bedroom you'll find a big double and comfy bed. In the second bedroom there also is a big end comfy bed. Both beds are easily to separate if you want to wish to sleep on four separate beds.
The bathroom is equipped with double sinks and a luxurious shower with some jet streams for massage options. Towels and basic shower products are provided.
If you wish you can use my bikes. There's two of them. Nearby you'll find lots of special routes for biking. They'll take you along the coast or into the inland. If you wish you can make a nice bike-ride along the Dollard into Germany.
In my house also live three cats. So, if you're allergic to cats, or if you don't like cats this is is not the place you want to stay. The cats are never allowed in the bedroom and most of the time they're outside. The only thing I ask my guests is to be kind to them and give them some food once a day. There's no cat-litter-box inside, so don't be afraid it's a smelly place :-) You can lock the cats in the kitchen area, they can get in and out by themselves using the little cat-door.
My garden is full of birds and lots of other animals like some hedgehogs. There also are two ponds, one of them contains some koifish. In the garden you'll find lots of small corners to sit and relax. Some of them in shade, others in the sun. In the garden you'll have full privacy.
Near the house you can park your car in a carport or just on the drive way.
In the village of Termunten you'll find no supermarkets or shops. Nearby shops you can find in Delfzijl or Appingedam. But... there are a lot of restaurants. Some of Netherlands most well known fish restaurant you'll find here. But there also is a steak restaurant and a place to just enjoy a cup of coffee or tea. All of those are within walking distance from the house. The NeighborhoodAlmost in the backyard of the house you'll find one of the most beautiful nature reserves of the Netherlands. It's called Punt van Reide and it's well known for it's birdlife. This also is within walking distance. So don't forget to bring your binoculars! In summertime you can watch seals resting at the sand banks when it's low tide. Getting AroundPublic transport is low, you'll best bring your own car. Bikes are available at the house for free.
