The bicycle route network (nr. 42 and 43) and the walking route network (nr. 72 and 73) pass by the Mozaiektuin. If you would like to make a bike tour, you can rent a bike for € 8.50 per day.
To ’s-Hertogenbosch the distance is 3 km. It is the Bicycle City of the year 2011. The many guarded bicycle shelters are free of charge. In the centre you find the impressive Saint-John’s cathedral which certainly is worth a visit. The most famous inhabitant of ‘s-Hertogenbosch is Jheronimus Bosch. The North-Brabant Museum and the Jheronimus Bosch Art Center give an overview of the works of this late medieval painter. The historical town centre forms a gorgeous background for a day of shopping. After that you can delightfully repose in one of the many pleasant catering establishments. Sailing on the Binnendieze is a unique experience. In an open electric boat, you sail along surprising viewing holes and under the buildings of this medieval fortified city.
To the National Park De Loonse and Drunense Dunes (the Brabant Sahara) it is 8 km. This park is one of the most extraordinary nature reserves of our country thanks to the special animals and plants. You can make a fantastic bike tour there or walk along the paths of the route networks.
To Heusden Vesting, on the Maas, the distance is 6 km. This fully restored fortified town experienced its high times in the sixteenth and seventeenth century. Here you will find lovely façades, beautiful galleries and many outdoor cafés.
