Guest AccessAs a Guest at Casa San Miguelito, the entire home is at your disposal except for the upstairs storage area which has a "do not disturb" knob and deadbolt on the door for safety reasons.
Also, Casa San Miguelitos' fencing around the front courtyard is, in part, original, and it is purely decorative. Therefore, please note that it cannot hold any weight. Guests are advised to take care around all fences and stairs on the property.
Lastly, the backyard is currently has just been renovated, so it is now completely fenced in. However, we respectfully ask that pets do not climb the terraced backyard, as it is made of broken concrete and can be dangerous. Additionally, pets must be walked off property to defecate. Interaction with GuestsAs your host, we can arrange for private tours to the wine regions, surf lessons, and therapeutic massages, etc. It is our pleasure to interact with our guests and even share a glass of Vihno Verde! However, we respect their privacy, so we are flexible and try to be available if Guests would like suggestions for anything during their stay in beautiful Avila Beach. The NeighborhoodAvila Beach is a quaint beach community and is known for the sun shining all year round. Avila has a south facing beach, a separate dog & bonfire beach, yummy restaurants, wine and tea tasting, relaxing mineral hot springs and much more. You will want to take advantage of the popular 2.5-mile paved Bob Jones “City to the Sea Trail”, which winds in and around the championship Avila Beach Golf Resort (Designed by Olin Dutra and Desmond Muirhead) and offers a great walking, biking & roller blade path. Getting AroundAvila Beach is a hidden gem on the Central Coast, so we recommend renting a car if our guests are coming from out of town.
As a guest, you might enjoy exploring the Central Coast wine country, quaint Pismo Beach, celebrate Morro Bay's 50th birthday, stroll Old Town SLO for some great shopping and dining, tour Hearst Castle or head out to the Montana de Oro State Park area for some great surfing! - Major Holiday Reservations require 5-night minimum at higher Holiday Rate.
