The Space3 bedroom/2 bathroom, two-story home, with a spacious and comfortable upstairs master suite, which offers a king size bed, a nice sitting area with second TV, master bath, and a small loft area just outside the master bedroom - a great spot to read a book. Two bedrooms, each with a queen bed, and one bathroom are on the main lower level. The fee is $80.00. - If you choose to bring any watercraft into the Country Club, there is an additional fee of $50 per boat, jet ski or wave runner. The fee amount varies depending on your dates. The SpaceLarge house, built in 1935, There are one to two rooms, shared bath room. Share formal dinning, living room and Kitchen. Internet, TV with cable. Wood burning insert in living room. There is Lassen Volcanic National Park, Lake Almanor, Bizz Johnson Trail Walker Lake and hiking, swimming and in the winter SNOW. There are 1-2 parking areas durning the summer, but only one parking area durning winter due to snow. I work in the health care profession. I enjoy sharing my house with others. The NeighborhoodWestwood is an old logging community and at the turn of the last century it was one of the biggest in California. People are friendly and there are many old homes in the area. The SpaceMy house has two bed room on the East end of up stairs. You share a bath room with claw tub to shower or bath. Down stair you have full use of the kitchen, as this is not a B&B, there is a formal dinning room , living room and TV room with a bathroom . Out side there is a large yard to lay around, two bikes to ride around town. Lake Almanor and Lassen Volcanic National Park are with in 1 hour. Susanville and the Bizz Johnson Trail are close by. The SpaceChester Creekside Cabin is a beautiful, historic country home set amid large, rolling lawns. Built in the 1900s, this graceful home has been fully restored. Newer additions have retained the home’s original charm while enhancing it with spacious living quarters and modern amenities. With a creek running through the property, a picnic table under a majestic pine tree, and lawns on two sides, Chester Creekside Cabin is an ideal place for the entire family to gather. It is located in Old Town Chester in a quiet, historic, residential neighborhood that is perfect for strolling. Chester Creekside Cabin is walking distance to shops, restaurants, and coffee, and a 10-minute drive to Lake Almanor. Swimming, golfing, biking, hiking, ATV riding, and boating are available nearby. The 2,000 square-foot home has four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The spacious living room has a sofa bed that sleeps two, as well as a wood stove, a table for playing board and card games, and a large sectional couch. *__* The home is professionally designed, with an open floor plan that provides a comfortable flow between the living room, dining room, and fully-equipped kitchen. The dining room table seats 10. The roomy master suite has a new queen bed and a large bathroom with a shower. Also located downstairs is a second bathroom, with a shower as well as an over sized bathtub. Upstairs there are three charming bedrooms. One bedroom has two twin beds, the second has one twin bed, and the third has a full bed. A large covered porch provides another beautiful space for friends and family to gather. Overlooking the tranquil lawn and bubbling creek, the porch is an ideal setting for enjoying a book, a glass of wine, a sunset, or a conversation. This beautifully appointed home includes an outdoor barbeque, linens, laundry facilities, DVDs, books, board games, children’s items, picnic supplies, plenty of wood for the wood stove, and lots of other resources to make your stay at Chester Creekside Cabin hassle-free and fun! From June 15, 2013 through September 4th, 2013 we rent on a 3 night minimum. For the rest of the year except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years, our nightly rental is $163.50 with a two night minimum.

The SpaceOur home is located on Lake Almanor West Dr. which follows the lake all around our community. We are across the street from the lake and very close to the community boat launch. During the summer months of July and August, this home is available on a weekly basis, normally from Saturday to Saturday. During the winter, fall or spring of the year, the home is available for 4 days or more. During the summer, come and fish, play golf or hike the nearby National Forest. Whether to rest or to rejuvenate, you will not be disappointed. Lake Almanor is absolutely the best place to be in northern California for boating and enjoying all the water activities. The elevation at the lake is approximately 4800 feet. The summers are sunny and beautiful and perfect for hiking, running, biking and fishing! This is a great stop over for those doing the Pacific Crest Trail, so friends and family can say hi or assist them with supplies along the way. The home is approximately 2500 sq. feet with 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. There is one California King bed, two queen beds and one double bed. There is a nice separation of bedrooms for privacy with personal access to the surround deck and sparkling clean spa. The house includes a washer/dryer for your convenience. Lake Almanor West has a beautiful 9 hole golf course with a putting green, driving range and comfortable indoor/outdoor viewing restaurant. Golf and the restaurant normally open over Memorial Weekend in May through October. There is a private park for members and their guests. There's a special play area for smaller children, volleyball, basketball court, picnic tables, beach and swimming area with a 'swim to raft''. There are clean restrooms and ample parking for vehicles and bikes. The boat launch area is for the community only with vehicle parking for day use of all boaters. It's easy in and out for boats. There is a boat rental service directly south of the community about 2 miles away. Next to the boat launch is a beautifully wooded National Park with miles of paved trails for walking and biking and lots of areas to explore in nature. I'd be happy to send you a detailed map of the trail that stretches for miles along the lake. Lake Almanor is a beautifully clear lake with spectacular views of Mount Lassen as it falls into the lake. The lake is a wonderful temperature in the summer for all your boating and swimming activities. Lake Almanor is a fisherman's delight and the best kept secret in all of northern California. The trails to the top of Mount Lassen are 30 minutes away. The town of Chester will pleasantly surprise you as you step back in time. It is 6 miles from our home. All your weekly needs can be found in Chester. There is access to the Pacific Crest Trail just outside of town. There is a small airport for non commercial flights into this area. The average temperature in the summer is 80 degrees. This is perfect for lounging on the deck, playing a round of golf, boating on the lake, biking or taking a nice long walk. During the winter months there are normally a few feet of snow to enjoy. With the snow comes, cross country skiing, snow shoeing and lots of trails for all the snow mobiles. This is truly a winter paradise! Christmas at our home can be fantastic! Come check us out for a special Christmas or New Year's vacation. The home is available for one week or more at this time of year. Guest AccessThere's a men's bike and a women's bike to enjoy. The home includes tennis rackets, children's water toys and floats, puzzles, board games, books and movies. In the winter there are sledding toys for the snow. Bring your cross country skis and snowshoes and snowmobiles. Interaction with GuestsWe are available to assist you throughout your stay should you have need of our help with information about the house or the neighborhood. We give you our cell number so you can easily reach us at anytime. The NeighborhoodThe community is restricted to home owners and their guests. It is a quiet lake front community with complete access to the lake. The busiest week at the lake is over the 4th of July. There is a wonderful community parade along Main St. in the town of Chester and exciting fireworks in the evening out over the lake. I love the quietness of this end of the lake. It is, by far, the widest end of the lake and early in the morning when the lake is like glass, the water skiing is fantastic. It's a popular lake for jet skis and with the lake being so wide, it is easy to relax and have fun. Patio boats are also popular with the older folks. The fall is very pretty with the leaves changing color. It is very quiet and a wonderful time to enjoy the beautiful temperature and be at one with nature. Winter is a favorite time with our family. As you can see by some of the pics, we love the snow! And it has finally returned! Our home is available for Thanksgiving and the Christmas holidays. Book ahead so you will not be disappointed! Getting AroundFor your convenience there's a men's bike and a women's bike to enjoy. Other Things to NoteMaximum number of guests is 6 in your family and this total includes children. If the original number of people in your group changes, you MUST inform the owner proir to your visit. Each person, (adults and children), needs to be listed by you and delivered to home owner. Doing this at the same time as your request to stay will save so much time. It would be helpful to also include all the ages. The guest in charge needs to be at least 30 years of age. We do all this as a security measure and to help protect you in case of any emergency in the home. Thank you! Our $750. security/damage deposit hopefully will never be used, however, it is necessary for me to add this deposit to make you aware of our respectful house rules. No more than 6 people total staying at the house, even for one night and this includes children. If this rule is ignored or broken you will lose your complete security deposit. We take this rule very seriously. Please do not test us! The $750. security/damage deposit has other conditions that the guest agrees to when guest makes their payment to stay at the home. These conditions are: No damage has been made to the home or contents beyond normal wear and tear. House is left tidy. Dirty dishes are placed in dishwasher and started. Cleaning staff may charge an additional fee if home is excessively messy. No linens are lost or damaged. House items including pillows, blankets, tools, games, books and movies have not been lost or removed from the home. Throughout the stay, trash has been collected and placed in large trash canister just outside of the garage. White trash bags are supplied and kept in kitchen. Trash pickup is Monday morning. Please have your trash in our can at the CURB early Monday morning. Please return house key to lockbox at departure time. A lost house key creates a security risk and requires us to rekey all the locks for the home at your expense. There are 4 spa locks, one on each corner of the spa. Do not try to open unless each corner has been unlocked. Any broken spa locks are replaced at your expense. Spa key and tennis court key are left on kitchen counter. The spa key and tennis key are difficult to replace and charges will be incurred if not returned to kitchen counter at departure. Any guest who has more than 6 people, including children, staying in the home may forfeit their entire security/damage deposit. Any and all your personal charges accrued during stay are paid prior to departure. No long distant phone calls have been charged to the owner's phone during your stay. There is no damage incurred to the spa cover or spa during your stay. Please, no child under 14 years of age should be left unattended in or around an open spa. No climbing or jumping on the spa cover. No pets are allowed in the house, you will be asked to leave immediately with loss of rent and security deposit. If anyone smokes anywhere in the house, your security deposit will be forfeited. We take our house rules very seriously. Please respect them. The SpaceThis water front lake house is a fantastic family and friends' activity center on Lake Almanor. Whether you are 2 or 3 couples, each of you will have your own master bedroom, and don't worry about the kids: there is a boys' bunk room and a girls' bunk room where they will enjoy table games and puzzles. Daytime on the Lake is the place to be: hang out on the expansive lawn leading from the massive deck to the waterline. Dock your boat or canoe on our private dock or throw out a fishing line to see what you can catch for dinner. After a fun filled day on the water or hiking on the trail surrounding the lake, relax on the deck, BBQ and watch as a sailboat passes across the lake and the mountains beyond change color as the sunsets. The week will go much too fast for you with so many fun and relaxing activities to engage everyone in your party. Kids will no doubt saunter down the beach to the recreation area to engage with other teenagers to make life long friends. The cooks will enjoy the extensive kitchen which at times becomes the place to hang out before dining with family and friends at the table which can seat twelve. After feasting on the evening's BBQ meal, your friends may want to retreat to one of the many couches to engross themselves in their favorite book or join at the backgammon table to compete in a friendly tournament. Young and old can check out the game closet by the dining table; there are dozens of board games, puzzles and children's books. Of course the golfers among the group will have a tough time deciding which of the 3 courses in the area offer the correct challenge. The setting and scenery of all 3 golf courses are stunning. Walk around the block and enjoy the Lake Almanor West Golf Course or take a 20 minute drive to Bailey Creek Golf Club or the Peninsula golf course. Tennis buffs will enjoy walking over to one of the 4 courts available for your game. Whether you are teaching the kids the sport or playing doubles with you friends, the setting of the tennis courts is beautiful. Day trips might find the family driving 45 minutes to Lassen National Park to walk among the fumerols or to hike up Mt Lassen for a phenomenal view of the Plumas National Forest and the distant Central Valley. Eagle Lake, an hour drive to the east will give up prized Eagle Lake Trout which the fishermen will brag about for years to come. Historic Westwood, a mere 30 minutes to the east will take you back in time when the lumber industry was in full swing. Today you can enjoy a great pizza at Buffalo Pizza, offering gourmet pizzas or a tasty salad bar along with your pitcher of beer. Water sports on the Lake are incredible. The kids want to be towed on rafts while the atheletes want to wake board or water ski. At times it will seem like you own the lake all to yourself and you will wonder why all of California is not inundating this most gorgeous of mountain lakes. The water temperatures of Lake Almanor are much more pleasant for swimmers to enjoy than frigid Lake Tahoe and the water is much calmer as well. Bike enthusiasts will die for the lakeside trail along the west shore, extending from the house to the dam, a 9 mile dedicated, paved sojurn through fir forrests where you will spot the occational osprey nest above. You might love to exercise on your bike with an invigorating circle around the entire lake, a very pleasant 30 mile tour. The Lake House offers 3 spacious master bedrooms, one guest room and a separate girls and boys bedroom. There are two main bathrooms one with shower and bath, the other with a luxurious shower which engulfs you with water streams from two sides. Recreation & Park area; play structures, beach, basketball, soccer field, barbecue pits. 12 houses back towards the tennis courts on the lake.

The SpaceMill Creek is a small cabin community just 1 1/2 hours from Chico and only 15 minutes from the entrance to Lassen National Park. This is a modern comfortable cabin that was just completely remodeled. It is over 1600 square feet and has 7 beds (one king, two queens, two fulls and two twins). It is an ideal location for a multi family retreat to the mountains. There is a large backyard with a deck, fire pit, hammock, chair swing and trampoline. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the cookware, plates, cups and silverware that you should need. There is also a charcoal BBQ. All of the bedding for the 7 beds is provided. We have plenty of extra pillows and blankets. There is a washer and dryer for your use. There is a restaurant/store just down the street from our cabin. The store stocks lots of items including milk, ice cream, beer, wine, and lots of breakfast, lunch and dinner items. They also serve very tasty food. Try the excellent milk shakes! Other Things to NoteStuff to do IN MILL CREEK Relax, Read, Nap, Play board games, Jump on the Trampoline, build a campfire and have smores Walk around the neighborhood or, for a longer walk, walk towards Hole in the Wall on the dirt road, starting one mile down the highway past Mill Creek Resort DON'T MISS: Milkshakes at Mill Creek Resort on the patio. Can be slow, but who cares – you are on vacation. Mill Creek is about 1/3 mile down the highway towards the right if you are looking at the highway from the cabin. You can access Mill Creek a few places between the turn from 36 onto 172 (on the southern side) or you can walk down a trail behind Mill Creek Resort. The creek is fun for kids to play in. LASSEN Hike in Lassen National Park. Check out the book of hikes and the map. Some of our favorites are, in order of length: Terrace Lake Crumbaugh Lake (there is a little sand peninsula to eat a picnic on and swim) Bumpass Hell Mill Creek Falls Kings Creek Lassen Peak Brokeoff Mountain Pass Bumpass Hell, pass Cold Boiling Lake and Mill Creek Falls, end at the visitor center. Requires two cars Hang out, read a book in Lassen Park Summit Lake, good for swimming too Lake Helen Have a soft-serve ice cream or lunch at the Visitor Center Visitor Center has a video worth watching once LAKE ALMANOR Horse Back riding – Plumas Pines Rent a ski boat, fishing boat or jet skis at Plumas Pines Resort on the West Side Another don't miss milkshake place – The Pine Shack in Chester There is a grocery store and pharmacy in Chester – Holiday Markets On the main street of Chester there are home decorating shops, book stores, pizza and more, but it is spread out, not super walkable and not high end – this is Chester, not Tahoe. J DRAKESBAD If you make lunch or dinner reservations, you can hang out at their mineral hot springs pool or book a massage. They have marmots that live by the pool that are so cute. Reservations are sometimes hard to get so call right away if you are interested. Lunch and Dinner start at a specific time and you have to be there at that time. The food is good, but you are really buying access to the property which is beautiful! Also PCH Hikers stop there which is interesting. Drive there via Wilson Road. It will take about an hour. There are a few nice hikes from Drakesbad. You can rent horses or go on guided rides from Drakesbad.

The SpaceSpacious, 2800-square-foot, two-story home is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy friends and family. Beautiful lake views from every room in the house. Large deck is the best location to enjoy the peace and beauty of this exceptional lake. Upstairs has master bedroom with king-size bed and bath, two bedrooms with two twin beds and bath, loft area with queen-size futon, games and bumper pool table. Downstairs has another master bedroom with queen-size bed and bath, living and dining room, kitchen and laundry room. My home is located on a quiet cul-de-sac with level access to lake at Lake Almanor West. This unique location offers great swimming, beach with private boat dock and buoy. Lake Almanor is great for water skiing and wake boarding. Jet skis are permitted and rented nearby. Afternoon breezes make for good sailing as well. Excellent fly, spinning, and troll fishing in the lake and surrounding rivers and streams for trophy-sized rainbow trout and brown trout, as well as land-locked Chinook salmon, smallmouth bass, and largemouth bass. The Home Owner’s Association has a nine-hole golf course, four tennis courts, a basketball court, a lakefront recreation area (with huge grass area, barbecues, sand beach, and children’s play equipment), all within walking distance of the house. A boat launch ramp is just down the road. There are two more golf courses in the area including 18 hole Bailey Creek course. Looking for a fly-in vacation? Only four miles from Rogers Field Airport in Chester. Nearby towns include Chester (6 miles), Westwood (15 miles) Chico (70 miles) and Reno (100 miles).     Our Country Cottage is located in scenic Lassen County- between Chester and Susanville. The Lake Almanor Basin is best known as a recreation paradise and the gateway to Lassen Volcanic National Park. It is made form wildflower honey and called MEAD. Westwood is also home to it's own coffee roasters and you can by it at Youngs' market. We have a museum that is open spring and summer and then by calling the number posted on the door. Our Country Cottage has been a family favorite retreat for years. There is a fire pit and fish cleaning station located near the water's edge. Located directly across Peninsula Drive is Wally's Peninsula Market which features a grocery store, award-winning deli and a great Starbucks-like coffee shop. Next door to them is the Red Onion Bar & Grill which offers fine dining for lunch and dinner. There are several other very good restaurants located less than 1/2 mile away. The town of Chester is 8 miles west and has a large (for a small town) grocery store with another excellent deli. There is also a variety of stores, restaurants, services and a hospital in Chester. There are boat & water craft rentals located in Big Cove right across the cove from our resort. There are also several golf courses around the lake. Mount Lassen Volcanic Park is approximately a 40 minute drive from the cabin. Susanville, CA is 30 minutes away and Reno, NV is 2 hours away. There is great hiking, biking, fishing and sight seeing around the lake.

                                                          Beautiful one bedroom cabin located in the heart of Lake Almanor. This cabin is ideal for a couple or a family. It sleeps up to 6. It is situated on Peninsula Drive near Big Cove Road. It is across the street from the lake and with walking distance to restaurants, Pine Cone Lodge, Knotty Pine, Big Cove Marina and Wallys Peninsula Market. This cabin is tastefully furnished and completely setup. Barbecue, Linens, towels and cooking utensils are provided. Boat slip and launch is available for purchase at nearby marina. Affordable, includes cleaning fee and non smoking.Lake Almanor offers a large variety of activities, including boating, fishing, hiking, golfing, cycling and much more. Some pets will be considered. There is an extra $10 charge for your pet per night. The cabin is within walking distance to restaurants, marina, Wally's market, known for their wine selection, deli and milkshakes . Boat slip, water access and launching are all within a 1/4 mile of the cabin. There are many fun events throughout the summer. You don't want to miss the Memorial Day Craft Fair in Chester CA only 7 miles away, The 4th of July fireworks over the Lake are a must see and the Annual Fish for a Wish Tournament hosted first week of August, it is so much fun and for a good cause. It has three levels with two large decks. The top floor has a master bedroom and a master bath. It also includes a large loft with a futon. The second level has a bedroom, living room, dining room, laundry room and large kitchen. It also has a full bath. The bottom floor has a large bedroom with one bunk bed, two couches, a second full kitchen with granite counters, full bath, and two more bedrooms. It also has a dining room next to the kitchen. The house is on the lake in a nice quite cove with a sand beach (depending on the lake level). There are plenty of places to eat close by. Baily Creek Golf Course is also a little over a mile away. 18 holes of championship golf. Included with home: (2) Bouy's (1) Canoe with Trolling Motor (1) Paddle Boat (2) Life Jackets Security Deposit: $350 The home can be split into two different rental units. There is an entrance to the top two floors and a different entrance to the bottom floor. Both have seperate full kitchens. The bottom unit does not have laundry. Top level can have as many as 6 people. The bottom unit can have 6 also. If you rent both the bottom and top there is room for 8-10 people. No Smokers Please.
