The SpaceThe cottage has character and color. It is further enhanced by the original art by John which is placed throughout. It is surrounded by private green areas. At times it is rather crittery around here ,watching the birds and squirrels from the shade deck is fun. Raccoons, skunks and possums cruise through now and then. The cats wander here and there in the yard. The location is exceptional. You are in a country setting yet just a stroll down the lane gets you to the excellent restaurants. The Glen Ellen Inn is cozy and excellent . Enjoy the free corkage at the Fig Cafe. The Glen Ellen Star is new, small and very lively(URL HIDDEN) Have all the wine you want, walk back down the lane No worries ! The kitchen has a microwave, toaster oven, electric kettle,full size sink and fridge, plus a dish washer(URL HIDDEN) A barbecue is also available. Interaction with GuestsWe live in the main house at the front of the property. If any one needs info or assistance with a situation we are happy to help. The NeighborhoodNearby is Jack London State park which is incredibly fascinating with more buildings open than ever before. Glen Ellen is right next to Kenwood which is also great to explore, aside from outstanding wineries there is the Sugarloaf Park observatory where you can be free of lights and look through their telescopes with the docent astronomers. The SpaceThe property is for larger families or multiple families traveling together. There are two homes connected by a very large backyard and deck area. The homes are nestled in a quiet, park-like setting between Sonoma and Glen Ellen with immediate access to all of Sonoma Valley. One home is 1,500 sq ft and has 2-bedrooms, 1 1/2 barth. The other home is 1,100 sq ft and has 2-bedrooms, 1 bath. This property has been recently remodeled. Both homes have bright and sunny eat-in kitchens with sliding glass doors that open up to a stunning deck and backyard. For entertaining purposes, the backyard can comfortably seat about 50 people. There are new hardwood floors and a remodeled kitchen. The living rooms are large and open up into the kitchen/dining area and offer comfy large sofas with large flat screen TVs. Wifi and deluxe cable are, of course, included. The large backyard and deck has comfortable furniture and a gas barbecue. This area is perfect for entertaining or just relaxing with a morning cup of coffee or afternoon glass of wine. New to airbnb, top to bottom, I have purchased all brand new furnishings. The SpaceSingle room cottage approximately 25 feet by 25 feet. The Cottage has a private European Bath, shower and toilet in same room. All pets are welcome and will have plenty of room to roam. We have a gate to close off property. The Cottage is a detached building which is part of a small family sheep ranch near the top of Sonoma Mountain. The ranch is located near several Sonoma/Napa wineries and the town of Petaluma, California. Petaluma is a very picturesque river town founded in 1858. The town has several excellent restaurants and a fairly active night life. Petaluma is approximately 8 miles from the ranch, about 25min drive down Sonoma Mountain. Bike riding and hiking are very popular activities on Sonoma Mountain. The road to the ranch is itself a popular bike route but should only be attempted by advanced riders. You climb approximately 1,300 feet vertical in 5.5 miles. I'm a cyclist so would be able to give several recommendations for incredible routes within a 45 minute drive from the ranch. This is a rural property so there is abundant wildlife.

Visitors are primarily from local Bay Area communities, with some from across the country as well. Its most famous citizen was Jack London, who wrote much of his work on his “Beauty Ranch" in Glen Ellen. It is now a state park, museum, and a really great place to visit, and just around the corner from the Glen Ellen Cottage. Glen Ellen has various great restaurants, bars and other places of interest in its vicinity. We will share our recommendations and opinions with our guests. Getting AroundAmple parking is provided on the property. The area is very popular with bicyclists, it's an easy 5 min walk to restaurants and tasting rooms in Glen Ellen, and there are lots and lots of tasting rooms in a 10 mile radius around the property. Other Things to NoteThe property has a unique country feel to it as there are no visible neighbors on most sides, yet it is in walking distance to sophisticated restaurants, bars and tasting rooms in Glen Ellen.

The NeighborhoodWolf Glen is situated on a private road along Sonoma Creek. Our neighbors ask that you drive slowly on our street since there are children, dogs and elderly residents out and about. Since we live on a private road parking needs to be kept to our property. Two cars can fit on the gravel parking area, 1 car fits easily into the garage, and one car can be parked in front of the garage door with clearance. Other Things to NoteSonoma County Code Section (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) requires the following: 1. The TOT Certificate number is 1015N 2. The quiet hours are 10 PM to 7 AM, please make sure you come into the house at 10 PM and close the windows so conversations do not echo off the creek. 3. The maximum number of overnight guests is 10. 4. The maximum number of guests for a gathering is 16. 5. The maximum number of vehicles is 4 (all cars must be parked on our property and not in front of our neighbor's properties or blocking the common road to ensure emergency vehicles can pass safely)

This cottage is in the best central location in Glen Ellen. Walking distance to restaurants and gourmet grocery market! It features a large outdoor deck, for al fresco dining and relaxing with a glass of wine. The new kitchen is complete with all that is necessary for a comfortable stay. There is a gourmet grocery store five walking minutes away. Each bedroom features queen pillow top mattresses. Four people can comfortably stay in the cottage. The private backyard has access to Sonoma Creek. Great and cozy place to stay in during any time of year. A five minute walk down a picturesque lane brings you to fine restaurants. Guest AccessThere are wineries and fine restaurants in Glen Ellen, Sonoma and Kenwood. Numerous hiking options are nearby. Jack London State Park is up the street, with many activities to participate in. One of our favorites places for hiking is Sugar Loaf State Park, 15 minutes away near Kenwood. If you would like to see giant Redwood trees, we recommend driving to Armstrong State Park. You can easily drive to Napa and it's many wineries and restaurants. a day trip to the beautiful Sonoma Pacific Coast is memorable, as is a drive to the Redwoods. No pets are allowed. Getting AroundThe cottage is an hour from San Francisco, and a bit more from the San Francisco and Oakland airports. A rental car is the most convenient way to get around Northern California. There is ample parking on site. Local taxi (Vern's Taxi) available. Other Things to NoteThere are a lot of options for entertainment available in the Valley of the Moon. The SpaceThe vintage cottage is full of charm and comfort. It offers 1400 square feet of indoor space on almost 1/2 acre. In the 80's a Tiger lived in the old garage on the property and had a pen outside on the concrete patio. Old-timers from across the creek recall the sound of his roars, but not his name. A free night at the Tiger House for anyone who can authenticate his name! A beautiful idyllic retreat for a couple or two, with multiple areas both indoors and out to read, nap, drink wine or just enjoy yourself. It is a wonderful opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle and to explore all that Sonoma County has to offer. The master bedroom is spacious with a wood-beamed ceiling, and the 2nd bedroom is a cozy sleeping loft. The 2nd full bath with shower is located at the foot of the stairs leading to the loft. The kitchen is small but fully stocked to meet all your cooking needs and there is both gas and charcoal BBQs for grilling. The SpaceBadger's Den has a collage of interior decor that creates an atmosphere that is very unique and inviting. The king size bed is a natural latex mattress and real comfy. A small flat screen TV is on the wall at the foot of bed. There is a microwave, purple fridge, coffee maker, toaster, dishware & cutlery. The yard can be crittery at times with possums, skunks & racoons cruising through. The location is exceptional. It is a country setting yet just a stroll down the lane gets you to excellent restaurants(URL HIDDEN) The Glen Ellen Inn is wonderful. Enjoy free corkage at the Fig Cafe, a lively bistro. The Glen Ellen Star is small , yummy and very lively. Have all the wine you want and walk back down the lane to a big welcoming bed. The NeighborhoodA woodsy country area with lots of history, just down the hill from Jack London Park, which is very interesting and beautiful. Glen Ellen is next door to Kenwood, which has beautiful vineyard views and Sugarloaf Ridge State Park. Between the two towns there are loads of great wineries. If you wish to visit the town of Sonoma, it is only a 15 min. drive.

We also have an area in the home devoted to brochures , maps, guides about the services offered to guests in the Valley of the Moon. The house is on a small, one lane road. Guest AccessGuests will have access to the entire home and its contents, Stereo system, Wi fi, swimming pool, BBQ, backyard, etc. Interaction with GuestsWe enjoy meeting our guests, and giving them a tour of the house and property. This gives us an opportunity to answer any questions they may have, and to offer suggestions about the area, and its attractions. The NeighborhoodOne of the reasons Glen Ellen Nest is so inviting is its location. Close to downtown Glen Ellen, and yet private with a rural atmosphere. A true haven for wildlife, Deer, Birds, visit our property daily. It is also walking distance to Regional park and several restaurants. Favorites are : Glen Ellen Inn, Aventine, Yeti , Stars. There is also a delicious chocolate tasting place and a new boutique “ Hopscotch” filled with lovely artist made gifts. A new great coffee place in town:” Horatius” with Portugese wine tasting bar and good coffee, sandwiches, etc. Getting AroundTour transportations, public busses, taxis are available, but in most cases is not needed. Walking, biking, are the most enjoyable way to experience the area. Other Things to NoteThere is a 9% T.O.T tax included in price. This home welcomes considerate guests. Children with good supervision. Swimming-pool is not fenced in. Glen Ellen Nest is a great place for unwining ,quiet celebrations, family and friends gatherings. It is definitively not a loud party house nor a todler’s birthday parties! :)

This wine country cottage provides you with a cozy atmosphere, closeness to goodness in Glen Ellen and plenty of outside space to use for breakfast, lunch or dinner. While not a large house, it is elegant, has two rooms with comfortable beds, a full-size kitchen, two very nice outdoor eating areas, and the great Sonoma Wine Country all around it. There are numerous olive trees on the property, roses in the front, a great picknick area out back and to the side, a heat lamp for chilly evenings, direct access to Warm Springs Road for those who love riding their bikes here, and it is literally surrounded by tasting rooms within a 15 minute driving radius. It is close to the Sonoma Valley Regional Park (great for running!), or the famous Jack London park with its Jack London Museum and peaceful gardens. Drive up to Morton's Warm Springs and dip into their pools, or drive over the scenic Warm Springs Road to the Kenwood area for more wine tasting than may fit into a single weekend - or just walk to Glen Ellen, with its variety of restaurants, a tasting room, the GE market, or the Wolf Bar. Lots of room for dogs to safely roam as its 0.6 acres are fully enclosed by a beautiful redwood fence that also provides additional privacy. It's also adjacent to a large former 2 acre orchard with no building on it, adding to the green scenery and secluded feeling of the place. Glen Ellen is a small town off the beaten track in the Heart of Sonoma County. Visitors are primarily from local Bay Area communities, but some are from across the country as well. International visitors are still rare. Its most famous citizen was Jack London, who wrote much of his work on his “Beauty Ranch� in Glen Ellen. It is now a state park, a museum, and a great place to visit. The property is 4 minutes walking from Glen Ellen's center, or less then a minute driving. It feels like you're out in the wine country with its olive trees and four gnarly old vines out in the front while being close to world-class restaurants, a gourmet market, and various tasting rooms or a massage place inside of a gigantic and (thankfully) empty wine barrel. The flagstone patio is a perfect place to soak in the California sun -- Adirondack chairs and Weber Grill included -- and a covered patio area has a table set for 6. If there are things you need just ask and I'll see what I can do. I'll provide shampoo/conditioner and soap. Please bring your own toothpaste and coffee beans. I don't have air conditioning, but will provide a fan for each bedroom. It can be hot in Glen Ellen in the summer, but the house stays comfortable most of the time.

It is nestled in the majestic hills of Jack London Regional park where you can take tours of his mansion or explore the parks many hiking and biking trails just steps away from the property. Vineyards, tasting rooms, restaurants, shops, hiking, spas and the beautiful Sonoma Plaza are all within walking distance or just a short drive away. The property is conveniently located minutes from over 40 wineries in the Sonoma Valley, yet close to town. Enjoy World Class restaurants from 5 Star Cuisine to unique local restaurants as well as a gourmet market walking distance from the house. The Sonoma Mission Inn's world famous spa is located a short 5 minutes from the house, and the Sonoma Golf Club is a stone's throw away. Enjoy warm California evenings walking the estate vineyard, barbecuing with friends on the large outdoor patio, or up in the picnic area where there is a large swing or just relaxing in the 7 person Hot Tub. Wood floors, new travertine tile and new carpets complete the look. Upstairs are three good sized bedrooms and a very spacious master suite with a King Sized bed and a twin pull out sofa bed. The master bath is well appointed with a shower and private toilet room, a dressing area and a reading nook. All our unique guest rooms have brand new beds with luxury bedding. Sleeps 8 comfortably. We also have a pull out queen sized sofa bed downstairs for an additional 2 guests - 10 guests maximum. If wine is your thing there are multiple tasting rooms like Benziger (a favorite), with beautiful grounds and tours along with 6 others--Eric Ross, Moondance Cellars, Laurel Glen, Kivel-Stadt, Korbin Kameron and Talisman just a 5 min walk from the house. A 5-10 min drive will get you to highway 12 where wine tasting possibilities are endless! And to some of the best wineries in Sonoma! This is truly one of the best locations available and a great place to stay to ensure the most enjoyable wine country experience EVER! The outdoor facilities include an immense travertine pool deck & outdoor kitchen, Bocce Ball courtyard and Wine Cave, tennis court, garden areas, terraced olive groves, 2 acre lake with sand beach, 6 acre vineyard and 12 acres of woods. A thrilling 100' water slide leads from the pool level to the water-trampoline in the lake.         The SpaceWe are just celebrating our first year as hosts! We redecorated the entire house - furnishings, linens and bedding are new. Our goal was to create a comfortable and cozy space that can be enjoyed throughout the year. Sitting by the wood stove during the cooler season or lounging outdoors under the big oak trees- there are many ways to enjoy the house and the garden. The two bedrooms are well appointed with comfortable queen beds and high quality linens. Robes and slippers are available for you. In the living room you have a queen sleeper sofa, in case you need more beds. We have basic cable TV, wireless internet, a DVD player and a nice flat screen TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with a convection oven, dishes, blender, coffeemaker and more. The shaded garden has a big farmhouse table, lounge furniture, a brand new hot tub, private outdoor shower, a fire pit and BBQ. We hope you find everything satisfying and enjoyable! Location: Just an hour north of San Francisco, Sonoma County awaits you! Our house is located in Glen Ellen- 15 minutes north of Sonoma Square. Easy access to many wineries, excellent restaurants and shopping in Sonoma and Napa Valley. The Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa is 10 minutes away, so is the golf course. There is a lot of hiking to explore, fine dining is close by and the market in Glen Ellen has everything for your picnic. You will find a picnic basket and cooler at the house. The market in Glen Ellen has everything for your picnic. You will find a picnic basket and cooler at the house. Come and experience the laid back and friendly atmosphere here in the Sonoma Wine Country! Getting AroundJust a few miles north of Sonoma Square, the house is located right of Arnold Drive. Glen Ellen sits right in the heart of the wine country- Sonoma, Napa, Healdsburg, Yountville are all within reach. Guests had good experiences with Uber or hiring a wine tour limo. Other Things to NoteWe do require a signed rental agreement, it will be send to you after your inquiry. This creekside home is on a quiet private road walking distance to town center. Glen Ellen is home to restaurants with locally grown organic ingredients and family operated wineries. There are several tasting rooms and a gourmet grocery store within a 5 minute walk, or you can venture in any direction and you'll find world renown wineries.
