Other Things to NoteThe Heidelberg Inn was first opened in 1928 as a hotel with 46 rooms with bathrooms down the hall. Now we have twenty-four condo type units with one or two bedrooms, a kitchen, a living/dining room and a bathroom. This location became a place to go for some of the most famous movie stars. Clark Gable, Betty Grable and Charlie Chaplan were noted visitors in the wintertime. Pictures of these "old days" are seen in the lobby. Also, you will see the famous four-sided stone replace with the signature 8 foot California Grizzly Bear standing on top.
