The SpaceWelcome to your dog-friendly, secluded get-away home situated on 15 plus acres in the hills of West Sonoma County, California. And YES, that is really a genuine piece of the old Golden Gate Bridge in front of the house! Wine lovers paradise! We are a scenic 20 to 30 minute drive from many world class wineries that are considered the best wineries in Sonoma County located along the Russian River Valley. We often have coupons for free tasting at some of the local wineries as well. Bicyclers welcome! Several major bike races are held here every year including the Tour de California in May and the Gran Fondo in October! The Airplane House can comfortably sleep 6 adults (3 couples, 2 people per bed). There is a queen size bed in the master bedroom on the main floor, two queen size beds in the sleeping loft upstairs and the leather couch in the great room on the main floor folds out into a queen size bed. As soon as we receive confirmation that you have booked, we will send explicit directions. During prohibition, the remote canyons and forests in our area were natural places for people to set up stills. The surrounding roads provided access to the stills and to the purveyors of illegal alcohol, so our lane was closed off to through traffic and to this day has not been re-opened as a through road for the public. Just a bit of history for you. The Wine Country Airplane House is approximately 65 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge and 30 minutes away from the Russian River Wine Valley. This is the perfect place for you to relax with family, friends and dogs, unwind, and leave your worries behind. We respectfully request that you do not bring pit bulls or other aggressive or fighting dogs to our home! We do request that you let us know ahead of time if you will be bringing your dog. This is a unique, three story 2200 sq. ft. home surrounded by cultivated gardens, wooded areas and a pond. Please note a real, authentic piece of the Golden Gate Bridge outside the front entrance! Spectacular views of the Bodega Valley as well as Bodega Bay, (just a short scenic 30 minute drive away) and the sparkling waters of the Pacific Ocean, Point Reyes, and on very clear days, you will catch a glimpse of the Farallon Islands. On the main floor there is a large living area with ample seating for friends and family. Please note that there is a TV and a DVD player but there is no cable. The master bedroom and the bathroom are also located on the main floor. There is an electric fireplace. Sorry, Sonoma County would not let us add a wood burning stove! The upper floor is actually a sleeping loft overlooking the great room with two queen size beds and a couch where you can lounge around enjoying a good book. The bottom floor features a large dining area, and a full size, fully equipped kitchen to include good quality knives with a sharpening tool, and a 2ft x 2ft built in butcher block cutting board. There is also an area for working out including a treadmill and a weight bench and weights. The lower level also has padded bench seats for extra lounging space. There is a small laundry room with full size washer and dryer located off of the kitchen area. There are a number of activities in and around the Airplane House for you to enjoy should you want to venture out. Located on our property, there is a small grove of redwoods with a rhodedendron garden. We also have a number of sculptures in the garden areas on the property, so take a walk and enjoy! A short 1 ½ mile walk will take you to an amazing grove of old growth redwoods. You will find several easy hiking trails where you can view some of the largest redwood trees in Sonoma County. The BEST times to visit our wineries are between November and March when you can avoid the crowds AND you may even be able to talk to some of the wine makers hanging around the tasting rooms! Guest AccessGuests have access to walking around the property to view the gardens and sculptures. Interaction with GuestsI always try to greet my guests when they arrive and try to touch bases with them during their stay to make sure they are having a good time. The NeighborhoodOur neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful and we still have the "small town" feel. We are like an undiscovered resort area. Getting AroundGuests need to have their own vehicle for getting around the area. Other Things to NotePlease note that there is NO maid or housekeeping service provided. The house is thoroughly cleaned and ready for each new guest visit. Guests who rent for several weeks or longer can choose to have a weekly cleaning service come in and clean the house at an additional cost to guest. Contact Lynda (property owner) if you wish to make this arrangement.

You may think you want to visit Sonoma County vineyards, beaches, or the Russian River, but once you're here, you may not want to leave. The room is quiet. You have your own bathroom called "The Mexi" because of Mexican tiles & mementos of travels in that country. There is safe, off street parking. People also love to ride bicycles around here even tho the roads are narrow, curvy, & steep. The SpaceLocation, location, location Coleman Valley Road is known as the most beautiful road in Sonoma County. Shanti means peace or peaceful in ancient Sanskrit. Shanti is strategically located on Coleman Valley Road and only a short drive two-mile drive, bike ride or lovely walk from the cute little town of Occidental with its shops, video store and internet café, famous eateries and locally owned markets. The drive from Occidental to Shanti affords beautiful views of Mount Saint Helena and the surrounding Mayacamas Mountains to the east. But it is further west that attracts so many visitors. The remaining eight miles from Shanti to the ocean are a shockingly narrow, curvy and spectacularly panoramic drive unparalleled in Sonoma County. Forested landscapes of a varied ecosystem of deciduous Oaks, Redwoods and Douglas firs give way to sudden vistas of meadows and a fog-shrouded ocean that stretches into eternity. The drive to the coast only takes about 35 minutes, but you are guaranteed to stop and take pictures all along the way. This is the number one scenic attraction in the area, and it is just a left turn out of our driveway. We can fit six people comfortably. There is one bedroom with a queen sized bed, one full sized futon couch in the living room that sleeps two smaller adults or children, and one queen sized bed in the camper. We are unique in that we are super pet friendly, LGBT friendly and 420 friendly. Guest AccessThings to do at Shanti Walk around the property and investigate the Old Growth Trees and Pond Relax in the gigantic seven-foot hot tub under the grandmother Old Growth Redwood Tree Swim, meditate, fish or throw sticks to Elizabeth's Field Spaniels Libby and Lucy in the pond Swing in the hammock in your private backyard Get a professional massage from Elizabeth on site Seasonally pick fresh vegetables, herbs, berries and fruits to make your own meals Gather eggs from the chicken coop for your breakfast Light a fire in the fire pit in your private backyard Practice yoga on your private deck or with Elizabeth, who has practiced and taught yoga since 1991 (by arrangement) Learn archery on the backyard hillside and practice shooting arrows at our targets (by arrangement) Play tennis or golf at nearby Northwoods Golf Course or the courts at the Occidental YMCA. Listen to the sounds of birds in the surrounding trees and frogs in the pond. There is no noise pollution at Shanti! Gaze at the stars at night across the Shanti sky with absolutely no light pollution Read books, take naps, make love Interaction with GuestsAlthough she lives on the 6.5 acre property, Elizabeth doesn't require interaction with guests any more than the minimum necessary. If the guests wish to interact, however, she is happy to make herself available. Its entirely up to you. The NeighborhoodOccidental is part of West Sonoma County or "West County" as the locals call it. This is considered by many to be the most desireable town in which to live in West County. The population density is very low because we are in a low flow water area, so there are less people and less developments possible because our ecosystem cannot handle a larger population. This in turn means that natural beauty abounds. We have towering redwoods, ancient oaks, aromatic eucalyptus, miles of beaches, stunning cliffs, the Pacific Ocean, the greenest meadows like Ireland and the super cute little town of Occidental. Nowadays, the locals in neighboring San Fransisco, Marin and Napa Counties come to unspolied Sonoma to spend their vacation time. See what all the fuss is about! Come visit West County! Getting AroundPublic transit is available mostly eastbound and northbound to Santa Rosa and the Russian River valley towns of Monte Rio and Guernville three times a day. You are welcome to park your cars here in the Shanti driveway during your stay, only an easy and flat 100 foot walk from your private cottage entrance. The local Santa Rosa airport is small but convenient. The San Fransisco Internatonal Airport is about 90 minutes south on highway 101. You can also catch the Sonoma County Airporter from Santa Rosa to San Fransisco International Airport. Other Things to NoteShanti Vacation Rental is very, very quiet. We are void of any light pollution, too. This allows for an extremely peaceful stay for our guests. We are neighbors with the famous Occidental Art and Ecology Center which promotes ecologically and culturally resiliant communities. In addition, we are neighbors with the Western Hill Gardens which has rare plants and amazingly beautiful grounds.

The SpaceNestled in a redwood forest, this private entrance room has a queen bed, full bath and kitchenette. It is the perfect retreat for Sonoma coast and wine country access and Occidental biking and hiking. The room has easy access to outside hot tub, deck, and creek. The private entrance room is accessed via stone path and a few stairs. The room has no access to the main house, and is located on the ground floor, as the house is build into a hill. In the room, there is a private bathroom with shower and toilet, and a kitchenette with hot plate, electric kettle, toaster oven and refrigerator. There is also a little seating area with two chairs and a table. Free wi-fi and no television or cell service. Easy access parking. We are city dwellers who moved to the country so we could plant a garden and raise our child. Things are pretty quiet here. Birds, foxes, rabbits and a 9 year old girl (our daughter) also share the property. We don't have any visible neighbors, and are surrounded by trees. Our driveway is 1/3 of a mile long, and we often take walks up it. We are close to Occidental (10 min), which has a few restaurants, two markets and a couple of shops. We are also close to Sebastopol and Sonoma County wine growers and wineries (18 min). Also nearby are Bodega (8 min) and Bodega Bay (18 min). Bodega is the town where The Birds was filmed, a great coffee shop and the local tavern, The Casino (not really a casino, just a bar that serves good food). And Bodega Bay has great whale watching, beaches, and hiking. Oh yeah, and we are about 25 min from Hog Island Oyster Co in Tomales/Marshall. We love to buy a bag of Oysters and shuck 'em on our deck. On the weekends, the road we live on is filled with road bikers. They've found the little-trafficked roads with hills and beautiful scenery to be an interesting place to ride. We provide bathrobes that guests can use to access the hot tub. Guest AccessHot tub, deck, room equipped with shower, toilet and kitchenette. Interaction with GuestsWe provide our guests with as much privacy as they desire. The NeighborhoodOur neighborhood is quiet and our neighbors remote. We share a driveway with one neighbor but we have seen them like 10 times over the last 7 years. Getting AroundYou need a car to get around. We are remote. Please note that cell service is spotty around here. The only provider that has access at our house or in the town of Occidental is Verizon. Other Things to NoteThe room has been remodeled as of May 2015 and we've put in a private bathroom and shower along with a kitchenette in the airbnb room. The kitchenette has a hot plate, an electric kettle, toaster oven, sink and fridge in the room, along with pots, pans, plates, glasses and utensils. The only cell service provider that works at our house or in Occidental is Verizon. We do have Wi-Fi for connectivity but if you rely upon your cell phone for calls, the only service you'll get is with Verizon.

The SpaceMy husband and I created this space with the idea of sharing it with others. Being a married couple of several years we have always practiced and know the importance of just being a couple and remembering how we started. We made it casual, cozy, and comfy. We added some great amenities to a 1949 cabin , but also tried to maintain the charm. It's private, quiet, thoughtful, and a great place to disconnect from your daily life and reconnect with who you choose to share it with. You may not need to turn the power on at all, in fact. Don't bother with your cell phone either — your signal won't find you here. What will find you is a slowness you may not have known you were missing, and the realization that the world goes on just fine without you. Relax – we have everything you need, and nothing you don't. Guest AccessFor Play cabin is a stand-alone space. We have neighbors nearby, but they are not visible from indoors or outdoors, which makes the space so much greater. We do respect their presence as well as they respect ours. Interaction with GuestsWe are always accessible by email, text, or phone during the stay and we have an emergency contact in the area. The NeighborhoodThis can not be called a neighborhood. You are in the middle of the Redwood forest. You have views of the forest from every window, yet good sunlight on the property. It's very quiet of traffic and people, but full of natural sounds of animals, and depending on the time of year the natural flow of water. You have everything you need to just enjoy the indoor/outdoor space or venture out to some great dining in Occidental, Hazel, The Union Hotel, Howard's for breakfast, Underwood in Graton. So many wineries to taste from. Occidental has a fun Friday night Farmers market in the summer. Getting AroundYou will need a car. There are services in the area if you don't want to drive. Other Things to NoteBed, bath, & kitchen linens are supplied upon request. We have no washer/dryer in the cabin, so we have to pay laundry service. If you would like us to supply, please ad $25.00 p/bed. We do supply pillows, blankets, bed covers, bath mat & toilet paper.

Interaction with GuestsMyself or a friend will be able to assist with household needs. I make it a point to stay busy when I have guests at the cabin so you may enjoy some privacy. The NeighborhoodCamp Meeker was originally one of the top resort areas of California. It is now home to a few hundred residents, a mix of artists, families and quirky neighbors. Getting AroundThe house is about 20 minutes from the coast and Sebastopol, 30 minutes from Petaluma and 1 hour and 45 minutes from San Francisco. Secluded beneath towering redwoods in the charming hamlet of Occidental, the Inn at Occidental is centrally located to the spectacular vineyards of Sonoma wine country, the stunning beaches and cliffs of the Sonoma Coast, Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve, and the meandering Russian River. The Main House, built in 1876, has been lovingly restored. All 8 guestrooms feature private baths and all the creature comforts one would expect at a luxury hotel. The Courtyard Building was added in 2000. There are 8 guestrooms on 2 levels. The perfect location, just one hour north of the Golden Gate Bridge in West Sonoma wine country. Relaxed and personal, the Inn lies closer to the sea (and farther from the traffic) than neighboring Napa. It's the wine country with meandering roads and gently sloping hills where nationally known vineyards and family-run operations exist side by side. The Inn at Occidental offers formal and informal meeting space and accommodations for weddings, corporate retreats or family gathering. Garden Courtyard surrounded by roses offers a picturesque site for weddings up to 110. Inn amenities include: Fireplaces, spa tubs, phones, DirecTV, wireless internet, business services, concierge, conference and wedding facilities. Robert and Jeanne have attended to every detail to make their guest feel comfortable and at home. The cabin is beyond inviting itself, but the little touches like chocolates and wine and fresh cut flowers left for you, make you feel like you were the only guests they ever had. We arrived to fresh eggs, OJ and cinnamon rolls in the fridge, which we promptly turned into breakfast the next morning. Occidental is a great little town, and we took advantage of it's great proximity to both the Sonoma and Napa wineries. We enjoyed all of Robert and Jeanne's great suggestions for local eateries, as well as hitting some local farmer's markets to do some cooking of our own in the amazing kitchen. After a long day of wine tasting or enjoying the sights, our favorite thing to do, was enjoying the amazingly warm and peaceful pool and spa area. It was like swimming in the trees. We slept with the windows open, just to hear the wind rustling and the sounds of nature...what a way to fall asleep!! We loved every minute of our time at the Love Nest, and will be back to celebrate another anniversary Thank you for an anniversary to truly remember!! This is a true getaway. We searched the enitre area of the Russian River before we settled on this property. Camp Meeker is unique with its logging history, post San Francisco earth quake. After it was done as a logging camp it was developed as a vacation community. Families have owned properties for multi generations and some became full time residents. It is fun to hear the family histories and tales of days gone by.It is central to the RussianRiver, ocean, Redwoods, wine country, and all of the entertainment, activities, and open countryside of West Sonoma county. The cabin is a great place to leave your daily life behind and truly disconnect. We get some cell coverage, but its more a place to reconnect to each other. We enjoy sharing our space with friends and family, but both agree, it is best with just us two. We chose to not put TV, and all of the other distractions of daily life so that it would feel like time away from our daily life. We have shared some of our best meals in our backyard Redwood grove. It's a place to come home to after a day of enjoying what you love to do outside, enjoy a GREAT SHOWER and a fantastic night of rest. The entertainment available in West Sonoma county is endless, via festivals, wineries, and farm trails. Where there is wine there is great food. We are pet friendly to responsible and well trained owners of pets. We do not have complete fencing, so your dog can not be left unattended out of doors and must have good indoor manners. We love the children we raised as I am sure you love yours, but our cabin is made as a true getaway.. Why visit Shanti? Shanti means peace Shanti is a Sanskrit word meaning peace, rest, calmness, tranquility and bliss. Its broader meaning is “inner peace,” a state of being mentally and spiritually at peace. Owner Elizabeth Medgyesy says, “Many people have told me in the past that this land radiates peace and tranquility. Perhaps it is because of the abundant sunshine – so uncommon in this ecosystem of dense Redwood trees. Perhaps it is because this is the site of the original farmhouse of the area, situated above monolithic rocks with three natural springs emanating from them.” Shanti means peace, and peace comes from being in the natural environment of Shanti. Location, location, location Coleman Valley Road is known as the most beautiful road in Sonoma County. Shanti is located directly on incredible Coleman Valley Road and only a short two-mile drive, bike ride or traffic-free walk from the lovely hamlet of Occidental with its shops, video store/internet café, famous Italian/French/Breakfast restaurants and locally-owned gift and organic food markets. The drive from Occidental to Shanti affords beautiful views of Mount Saint Helena and the surrounding Mayacamas Mountains to the east. But it is further west that attracts so many visitors. The remaining eight miles from Shanti to the ocean ary between a shockingly steep, narrow, curvy and spectacularly panoramic drive unparalleled in Sonoma County. Forested landscapes of a varied ecosystem of deciduous oaks, Redwoods and Douglas firs give way to sudden vistas of meadows and a sometimes fog-shrouded ocean that stretches into eternity. The drive to the coast takes about 35 minutes, but you’ll stop to take pictures all along the way. This is the number one scenic attraction of the area and directions are easy: Just take a left out of our driveway! In addition, Shanti is neighbors with the highly acclaimed Occidental Arts and Ecology Center (OAEC), Western Hills Garden, Willow Creek Nature Preserve with its miles of hiking and biking trails, dozens of wineries, Osmosis Day Spa with its world-renowned Cedar Enzyme Bath, restaurants, cheese shops, bakeries, brewpubs, zip lines, kayaking and canoeing. Archery lessons can also be arranged in Elizabeth’s backyard. Sunshine The area around Occidental is gratefully and gracefully populated with ancient Redwood trees. However, these gorgeous behemoths impart a great deal of shade to many other residences and vacation rentals. Thankfully, Shanti is located on the site of the original farmhouse of the area due to its three natural springs. The hillside above the homestead was cleared many years ago for orchards of cherries, apples, plums and pears that have mostly died off. The remaining sunny hillside is our home site and also pasture land for our llama, sheep, goats and chickens. We are blessed with a glorious amount of sunshine interspersed with tall trees that impart shade to strategic locations such as the driveway and Shanti's private back deck. Occidental’s microclimate is coastal cool with fog in the summer mornings so you will be very glad to have Shanti’s afternoon sunshine, especially if you visit us in the winter months. Water Shanti is doubly blessed to have both sunshine and water. Our water here comes from three natural springs. We might suggest that you use our spring water for everything but drinking if you are concerned about untreated water. We provide ample packaged drinking water in the refrigerator of the unit. We ask you to avidly conserve our most precious resource of water. Please no long showers or running water while washing dishes or brushing teeth. Shanti’s Décor Shanti’s décor is “Contemporary Bohemian.” No wood paneling or dark walls here! We have decorated in vacation bright colors like marine blue, apricot yellow, classic red and an orange that will knock your socks off in the Tantric bedroom! Fun, swanky, sexy and spiritually uplifting describes the Contemporary Bohemian style. Owner Elizabeth has traveled to 45 countries around the world and many of the eclectic décor, such as the Buddha statues and Thangkha wall hangings, come from her extensive travels to Asia. The bamboo tiger stripe floor is always a hit…it is so visually beautiful and exciting! Subtle lighting and Asiatic accents complete the Shanti experience. Elizabeth has completely redone the back yard of Shanti to be a private and peaceful place for you to relax in the dappled sunlight, swing in the Brazilian hammock, read a book or just nap and listen to the birds in the surrounding trees. Shanti Accommodations Your comfort at Shanti is of the utmost importance. To this end, we provide a luxurious queen bed with Sealy Posturepedic pillow top mattress, silky sheets, down comforters and plush pillows. In addition, a full sized futon couch in the living room can sleep two. Shanti is now provided with high speed internet service, as well as Verizon cell phone service. Be sure to download the Sonos App en route to hear your iPod's tunes, Spotify or Pandora on the wireless speakers. Pets and Children Well-behaved pets and children are always welcome at Shanti. Children will naturally resonate with the natural world within Shanti as they play in the fenced backyard, or in the pasture with Elizabeth’s two spaniels Libby and Lucy, or in the Redwood forests that encompass a third of the 6.5 acres of Shanti. Our estate was recently featured in the sold-out 2016 Spring Garden Tour. Our neighborhood is near the top of Harrison Grade in the banana belt, a moderate microclimate suitable for growing many tropical plants, and usually above the occasional fog that might cover low lying areas. Cooled by the moderating ocean breezes, it doesn't have the extreme heat and cold variations of inland areas or the humidity of river areas. Surrounding us are vineyards, farmland, and country living, with a high representation of artists, musicians, intellectuals and those in the healing arts. The Russian River Appellation is among the best growing region for Pinot and Chardonnay, which attests to the many top wineries (and wine tasting opportunities.) The Foodie scene is unsurpassed, with a broad selection of great restaurants. Entertainment abounds, a beloved Farmer's market takes place every Friday afternoon in Occidental during the summer, with many others in the area as well. The adventurous can ride a zip line through the local redwoods. Should you desire a massage, or simply have peacefulness in their Japanese garden, the Osmosis Day Spa is first rate and just 10 minutes away in Freestone. Doran Beach among many others is wonderful for a day by the ocean, nearby are wetlands for birding, and the headlands over Bodega Bay invite a spectacular hike - bring binoculars for whale watching. The nearby village of Occidental is a treat. Do spend some time walking along Main St to discover good restaurants and taverns, an organic grocery, and interesting shops to browse through. At night you'll usually see lots of people having fun. The town of Sebastopol offers the Rialto movie cinemas with special art and music features; nearby is the new Barlow district with wine tasting rooms from top wineries, restaurants, local coffee house, and Tibetan art. The park, across from Whole Foods, holds a popular farmer's market on Sundays; Main Street is a fascinating stroll of music stores, New Age shops, bookstores, coffee houses and restaurants. All of these form an easily walkable nexus downtown. For those who just want to snuggle in, the entertainment system includes Comcast Xfinity X1 with voice command, and premium channel providers such as HBO and ESPN. AppleTV 4 provides additional internet choices such as iTunes and Netflix. ChromeCast 2 and the Samsung 46" internet-enabled HDTV widen your programming choices. The audiophile sound system includes a NAD 24-bit amplifier with Gallo Acoustics speakers. High speed 200 mbps WiFi is available. We provide Nespresso coffee + espresso, teas, and condiments. For your cooking enjoyment, the kitchen includes a GE Profile convection microwave, a FlashExpress infrared toaster oven, a Breville juicer, a crock pot and other implements. First rate local restaurants are all nearby. The dressing area has a spacious closet with several drawers, and a built-in ironing station is at hand. A whole house soft water system includes a decalcifier, UV sanitizer, and charcoal activated final stage filter for pure delicious water out of every faucet. Our 2-person hot tub is cleaned and refilled with this fresh water for each guest stay, and the water recycled to our gardens after your stay, so no harsh spa chemical treatments are needed. PV solar panels grace the roof, promoting high end luxury with ecological sensibilities. A ClipperCreek Level 2 32A EV charger allows you to recharge your EV; Tesla owners can fast charge on our 80A Tesla charger by special arrangement. Welcome to your dog-friendly, secluded get-away home situated on 15 plus acres in the hills of West Sonoma County, California. There is a queen size bed in the master bedroom on the main floor, two queen size beds in the loft and the leather couch in the great room on the main floor folds out into a queen size bed. As soon as we receive confirmation that you have booked, we will send explicit directions. During prohibition, the remote canyons and forests in our area were natural places for people to set up stills. The surrounding roads provided access to the stills and to the purveyors of illegal alcohol, so our lane was closed off to traffic to Bodega Bay and to this day has not been re-opened as a through road for the public. We respectfully request that you do not bring pit bulls or other agressive or fighting dogs to our home! The master bedroom and the bathroom are also located on the main floor. There is an electric fireplace. Sorry, Sonoma County would not let us add a wood burning stove! The upper floor is actually a sleeping loft with two queen size beds and a couch area where you can lounge around enjoying a good book.

There are six restaurants: the Union Hotel, Negri's (iconic Italian family-owned establishments), Hazel(for fine dining), Howard Station (for breakfast/brunch), Barley and Hops Tavern and El Mariachi. (Howard Station takes cash only!) If you go to Graton there are three more yummy restaurants. Occidental has some amazing gift shops, with one of a kind treasures. The town of Freestone boasts an amazing wood-fired bakery and the Osmosis spa. Bodega (famous for Hitchcock's The Birds) has a great seafood eatery (the Casino) and interesting shops. Beyond Bodega is Bodega Bay and north of Bodega Bay is Jenner. Try whale watching, horseback riding or sampling fresh, local crab. The Russian River is minutes away, with quaint towns and restaurants. Armstrong Woods in Guerneville is famous for giant redwoods thousands of years old. Wineries are abundant. The Korbel champagne tour is really fun. Sebastopol is only fifteen minutes away and offers lots of restaurants and shopping. Other Things to NoteThe water is from one deep well. The water heater may not allow multiple showers or baths all at once. The drive up Acreage Lane is more or less a single lane road. The residents know where the driveways and wide spots are. Sometimes they may expect you to back DOWNHILL. Standing your ground may be futile. It is usually possible, and safe, to back up or down to a wide spot. This is a short part of your journey. You will get used to it! Just don't go too fast.
