SquawLodge™ is a wonderful 2600-square-foot, 3-story house on a quiet corner lot in Olympic Valley, home of Squaw Valley Ski Resort, site of the 1960 winter Olympics. This large Squaw Valley vacation rental is less than 5 minutes to the ski lifts and a short drive to Truckee, Lake Tahoe or Reno for quick access to year-round activities. Upstairs are three bedrooms and two bathrooms with a loft. Downstairs is a roomy studio apartment with a kitchenette and bathroom. This house has a generous deck for all of your summer barbecues or to simply lay out under the sun with drink in hand. Enjoy wildflowers blooming beside your own creek in the spring. Breathe in the crisp autumn air scented by surrounding evergreens.
Brightly lit by floor-to-ceiling windows, the spacious and airy great room has a magnificent natural stone wood-burning fireplace to cozy up to in the winter. SquawLodge is furnished with comfortable beds that easily sleep up to 19 people (11 upstairs and 8 downstairs). Snuggle under down comforters in the bedrooms. Stairs lead to the enclosed loft—a perfect hiding spot with its own TV and video player. An open kitchen makes entertaining a breeze, allowing you to easily socialize with your family and friends while they gather at the breakfast counter or large dining table. Peruse a book from our collection as you recline in an elegant wingback armchair. The snow room/laundry room with two dryers has ample capability to quickly dry your bathing suits or snow clothes. When you're not skiing, snowboarding, tubing, snowmobiling, sledding, skating, waterskiing, boating, fishing, swimming, jet-skiing, river-rafting, hiking, biking, golfing, clubbing, or gambling, you can play a board game or finish a puzzle with your loved ones. Stay connected with the rest of the world by watching DirectTV and surfing the wireless internet, or relish the solitude by quietly listening to soothing music and watching snowflakes fall while unwinding by a crackling fire.

A complete rental application, signed rental agreement, and a legible copy of your valid driver license received before your stay are required. The paperwork must be completed within 14 days of payment.

SquawLodgeâ„˘ is in Olympic Valley, home of the world-renowned Squaw Valley USA ski resort. This 2600 sq ft house is on a level corner lot at the junction of Winding Creek Road and Tiger Tail Road in a very quiet neighborhood populated with evergreen trees.
There is parking on the property for up to three cars in the garage with space for another two cars in the driveway and one car in the clearing at the front of the house. During the summer, street parking is available on two sides of the house. A drive to the Squaw Valley resort takes less than 10 minutes or you can leave your car at home and take a brief walk to Squaw Valley Road and hop on the bus to the ski slopes.
This mountain getaway is a short drive away to Truckee, Lake Tahoe or Reno where you can participate in many outdoor activities including hiking, biking, swimming, boating, fishing, rafting, skiing, skating, and snowboarding. If you need a break, you can shop at the outlet mall or take in a play at Donner Lake. When you're hungry, grab a bite at a variety of restaurants or pick up some groceries in town. When you're ready for some nighttime fun, hit the different hotels to meet friends at a bar, dance at a nightclub, listen to a concert, or gamble in a casino.

If Driving from San Francisco, Sacramento or Reno:
Take Highway 80 to the Highway 89 South//North Lake Tahoe/Squaw Valley exit. Travel approximately 15 minutes south to the Olympic Valley/Squaw Valley right-hand turn-off at the traffic light. You will see the Olympic Torches on both sides of Squaw Valley Road. Make a right at Winding Creek and head to the intersection with Tiger Tail.
If Arriving by Amtrak Train at the Truckee Depot:
You can either grab a cab, rent a car from one of Truckeeâ€™s three car rental places or take the Tahoe Area Regional Transit (TART) bus between Truckee and Tahoe into Squaw Valley.
If Flying into Reno International Airport:
You can easily rent a car or take one of several shuttles to Squaw Valley.
