    The SpaceLittle House on the Fish Farm was built in 2013. The three-bedroom, two-bath guest house is located on property that has been in our family for generations. Danish teak furnishings, bamboo flooring, and recessed lighting give the house a simple yet modern feel. The space is decorated with water lily prints, artifacts picked up on our travels, and local art. The family room is a comfortable place to relax after a long day of sightseeing. The library is filled with books to encourage you on your next adventure. There is also a Smart TV, DVDs, and board games. Galley kitchen is equipped with: • custom granite countertops • stainless steel fridge • gas stove/oven • dishwasher • microwave oven • toaster • coffee maker • electric kettle • pots, pans, plates, cups, and utensils The master bedroom has a walk-in closet and is furnished with a queen bed. A favorite feature in the master bathroom is the soaking tub. The other two bedrooms share a bathroom and are furnished with twin beds. Each bathroom has a blow dryer. The house has a washer, dryer, iron, ironing board, steamer and two full-length mirrors. THE OUTSIDE SPACE Little House on the Fish Farm is located in the Sanger river bottom, known for its peacefulness and beautiful scenery. Our ponds play host to a variety of wildlife including fish, insects, frogs, beavers, waterfowl, and birds of prey. In the late spring, splashes of vibrant color dot our ponds as water lilies begin to bloom. A stone’s throw from Little House, sheep, goats, and cows graze in the pasture. Feel free to visit the hen house and collect eggs for your morning breakfast. The “floating” goat house greets you as you drive down the dirt road. Sunrise is a magical time. Grab a cup of coffee, head outside, and experience the farm as she wakens from her slumber. Sunsets are equally spectacular. Go ahead, fire up the BBQ and enjoy a leisurely dinner on the spacious wrap-around deck. There is a kind of hush as darkness slowly envelops the farm. The stars shine brightly in the stillness. It is a perfect ending to an unforgettable day. Guest AccessGuests have access to the house, deck, chicken coop and the large pasture in front of the house. Guests do not have access to the rest of the property without permission. Interaction with GuestsWe live down the road. Feel free to call/text if you have questions during your stay. The NeighborhoodEven though your nearest human neighbors are half a mile away, you are within three miles of shopping and restaurants. A quaint town of 25,000, Sanger is literally that place where you can’t walk down Main Street without bumping into somebody you know. Within this close-knit community, you can find modern stores next to family restaurants and shops that have been in business for the greater part of the past century. SEQUOIA, KINGS CANYON AND YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARKS Just a 54 mile drive away up Highway 180, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks affords guests convenient access to hiking, fishing, birding, and backpacking opportunities within the parks. Yosemite Valley in Yosemite National Park, one of the greatest natural wonders of the world, is up Highway 41. Hike up to Bridalveil Falls, climb El Capitan, or backpack out of Tuolumne Meadows.     The SpaceThis is a fully self-contained, private studio apartment located on a gated 32-acre cherry and horse farm, approximately 45 minutes from the entrance to the Kings Canyon National Park and Sequoia National Park in Central California. The apartment is fully furnished and attached to the farm's shop - next to the main home. There is a queen bed in the apartment along with a twin rollaway bed. It also has DirecTV, a full kitchen, and laundry facilities. The main visitor center in Yosemite National Park is less than two hours away (unless traffic is backed up getting into the park). The central portion of Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon National Park are approximately 55 minutes from our home. The Paso Robles wine region is approximately 2.5 hours away and a lovely way to enjoy a day. Dogs are welcome if you let us know in advance and clean up after them - a cleaning surcharge applies. There is also a large, outdoor dog run attached to the shop. And, we have space for your horses if you happen to be traveling with them. This is a non-smoking studio. Guest AccessYou will also have access to the swimming pool, BBQ grill, entertainment areas, etc. There are two large fire pits available for use during the cooler months. One is next to the garden and park while the other one is next to the horse barn near the creek. Firewood is available behind the chicken coop/garden area. You can also enjoy walking along the cherry, citrus and almond orchards and along Fancher Creek, which runs down the southern border of the property and is one of the few creeks in California that flows during the summer/fall. Interaction with GuestsStephanie and Jonah are currently living in our main home while we are in Denver for business responsibilities. Both will be available for information and assistance. The NeighborhoodThis is a rural agriculture area with citrus, cherry, almond and other fruit and nut orchards as well as grape vineyards and a number of specialty vegetable farms. Getting AroundPersonal vehicles will be necessary for transportation. Public transportation does not exist in this rural area. Other Things to NoteThis is a working farm with normal farming activities taking place throughout the year. The cherries normally bloom in March with harvest around the end of April. Additionally, there is an equestrian facility located on the farm where horses are trained and cared for on a daily basis. Accordingly, while it is normally quiet and peaceful on this farm, there are times when various activities will create noise. Specifically, there may occasionally be mornings when activities in the shop begin around 6:00 am when something needs repair or servicing.

        The SpaceGuests have a separate wing of the house. The lower level includes a very large bedroom/sitting room/office. The bed is a very comfortable new queen bed. The upper level has a private full bath with shower, laundry room, private access to patio and pool, and another exit to the front of the house. This is a very unique, quiet and peaceful house that we have loved for 27 years. You will love it,too. Guest AccessThe pool is available in warm weather until 10 pm. The spa is available in the colder months. Two hours of advance notice is needed to get the water up to the perfect temperature. The washer and dryer can be used for a fee. The kitchen and great room are on the main level and guests will have only limited access to this area of the house. The refrigerator in the suite will be stocked with water, fruit and snacks. Upstairs their is a sink, hot pot, coffee pot, tea, coffee and to go cups. Interaction with GuestsWe only host guests when we are home. We want each stay to be enjoyable and memorable and we will assist with all questions. We will be available to help guests with ideas for day trip excursions which are numerous from our convenient location. We will get to know each other while enjoying a delicious, healthy breakfast. For those who request, we can cater to vegetarians. The NeighborhoodIt is a corner house in a safe, quiet neighborhood. There are lots of trees on a large lot. It has a grocery store within walking distance that has a wonderful Mexican Deli. There are 4 other restaurants in the same shopping center. Guests enjoys easy access to the ski slopes and the National Parks. Getting AroundThere is a transit to the Big Trees 4 times a day during the summer. A car would be needed to get to other locations. Other Things to NoteBecause of the stairs to the lower level, this property is not handicap accessible. Guests have a refrigerator in the guest suite. It will be filled with goodies. Guests may choose to eat breakfast from the food in the refrigerator or order a freshly cooked breakfast. Orders must be placed by 8 pm. There is a hot pot and a variety of teas and coffee for guest use 24 hours a day.

        The SpaceThere is a downstairs living room, kitchen, and laundry room. Upstairs is the bedroom, bathroom and a loft on the other side of the bedroom stairs, as well as a balcony deck. There is a queen size bed in the bedroom and a twin daybed in the connected loft. We have a cot (s) available. There are 2 full-size leather couches (one upstairs, one downstairs) that could possible sleep kids or your ex-brother in-law if needed. There is parking under a carport for 2 cars. If you are bringing horses we have truck/trailer parking on the ranch and stall or front pasture or mare motel space for your horses. Guest AccessThe apartment is completely yours -- the laundry room, however, is shared with the main house. You may park in the carport. The pool, and deck/patio/barbecue are all included with your stay. The ranch dog lives out there (she is friendly but playful with other dogs). We will provide the gate code so that you can come and go as you please. Please note that Eden is an active horse ranch so you may see people working their horses, although it is a tranquil and quiet place at night, with full view of the ranch, the neighboring farms, and the stars and night sky from the balcony. Zelda the ranch dog lives in the backyard when she's not busy helping Tess on the ranch or supervising the barn cats. She loves socializing with the Airbnb guests and she will show them her toys. Interaction with GuestsDepending on when you arrive, we can provide a tour of the ranch and tell you about many of the activities that area available in this area. If you are bringing horses we can arrange dressage or jumping lessons (pending availability of trainers). If you want complete privacy and alone time - we respect that as well! I work and do not live at the ranch and so sometimes am unable to meet guests, but my daughter Tess (she lives in the main house) and husband Jim are wonderful hosts and are here at the ranch when I am not in case you need anything. The NeighborhoodVery quiet rural neighborhood with small family farms and ranches. Many guests come for the cycling and hiking, for the downtown Clovis antique shops, for the nearby lakes (Avocado, Shaver, Huntington, Millerton, or the Kings or San Joaquin rivers), or to explore the National Parks (Yosemite, Kings Canyon, or Sequoia). There are two quaint local country restaurants within 5 minutes drive where all the cowboys and farmers and travelers passing through eat. The Red Caboose Cafe and the Blossom Trail Cafe are located on Academy Avenue which is one mile east of the ranch. Neighbors Cafe is the only restaurant that is open late (til midnight) at Nees and Fowler in Clovis. We can also provide directions to a wonderful (but very inexpensive) Mexican restaurant about ten minutes away. Of course, Sanger, Clovis, and Fresno have a wide variety of fast food to high end places to eat. Getting AroundWe are two miles north of Highway 180, one of the main routes to Kings Canyon and Sequoia national parks and also a quick route to Fresno, as it connects to Hwys 99, 168 and 41. Highway 168 to Shaver and Huntington Lakes is a few minutes north of us. We're midway between the cities of Sanger and Clovis and just east of the Fresno metropolitan area -- but the ranch is in a very tranquil rural location. For bicyclists - there are many wonderful roads and trails and a very active biking community that meets in the parking lot of the Red Caboose Cafe on most weekend mornings. Other Things to NoteThe pool is large and deep, and there is open access 5' from the apartment door, so we do not allow young children who cannot swim (and the upstairs loft adjacent to the bedroom has wide-spaced railing that a small child could squeeze through). We use natural hypoallergenic unscented laundry soap on all linens, as well as mostly natural cleaning products in the house.

          Enjoy a little R and R in this great cabin. There are three bedrooms, two with Queen Beds and one with a Bunk Bed. There is a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living room and a loft area. TV/DVD Wireless Internet and a wonderful Deck to relax on. Enjoy a soak under the stars in the secluded Hot Tub on the deck. Moonridge Hidaway is located just a couple of minutes from Bear Mountain Ski and Golf Resort as well as the Zoo.

              Welcome to our small, family-owned fish farm just 54 miles west of Sequoia/Kings Canyon National Park. Located in the scenic Sanger river bottom, guests will delight in the diverse wildlife and serene views. The limit for this listing is eight guests, including children/infants. The house comfortably sleeps six (one queen bed and four twin beds). If there are seven or eight guests, rollaway cots will be provided. Guided fishing excursions available at an additional cost. Please inquire if interested. Little House on the Fish Farm was built in 2013. The three-bedroom, two-bath guest house is located on property that has been in our family for generations. Danish teak furnishings, bamboo flooring, and recessed lighting give the house a simple yet modern feel. The space is decorated with water lily prints, artifacts picked up on our travels, and local art. The family room is a comfortable place to relax after a long day of sightseeing. The library is filled with books to encourage you on your next adventure. There is also a Smart TV, DVDs, and board games. Feel free to visit the hen house and collect eggs for your morning breakfast. The “floating” goat house greets you as you drive down the dirt road. Sunrise is a magical time. Grab a cup of coffee, head outside, and experience the farm as she wakens from her slumber. Sunsets are equally spectacular. Go ahead, fire up the BBQ and enjoy a leisurely dinner on the spacious wrap-around deck. There is a kind of hush as darkness slowly envelops the farm. The stars shine brightly in the stillness. It is a perfect ending to an unforgettable day. THE TOWN OF SANGER Even though your nearest human neighbors are half a mile away, you are within three miles of shopping and restaurants. A quaint town of 25,000, Sanger is literally that place where you can’t walk down Main Street without bumping into somebody you know. Within this close-knit community, you can find modern stores next to family restaurants and shops that have been in business for the greater part of the past century. SEQUOIA, KINGS CANYON AND YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARKS Just a 54 mile drive away up Highway 180, the entrance to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks affords guests convenient access to hiking, fishing, birding, and backpacking opportunities within the parks. Yosemite Valley in Yosemite National Park, one of the greatest natural wonders of the world, is just up Highway 41. Hike up to Bridalveil Falls, climb El Capitan, or backpack out of Tuolumne Meadows. GUEST ACCESS Guests have access to the house, deck, chicken coop and the large pasture in front of the house. Guests do not have access to the rest of the property without permission. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE • As is typical of most small, rural communities, our internet speed is on the slow side and occasionally, intermittent. It is usually OK for checking email. Starbucks is 3 1/2 miles away and offers free WiFi. • As this is a working farm, you may hear occasional farm animal sounds. • There is a 3/4 mile drive down a dirt/gravel road. Drive carefully, especially at night. Parking is outside in the driveway. HOUSE RULES REQUESTING A RESERVATION indicates you have read and understood the entire listing (including Other Things to Note) and that you and your traveling companions agree to comply with the House Rules. 1. When requesting a reservation, include the names of everyone staying at the house. Number of guests on reservation, including children/infants, must be accurate. Only registered guests are allowed on the property. 2. No smoking inside or near the house. No candles inside the house. 3. No pets or animals of any kind are allowed on the property. 4. The house is not childproofed. Children must be supervised at all times, especially when outside. 5. Speed limit is 10 mph while on the property. 6. Little House is on a septic line. Please do not flush feminine hygiene products or anything besides toilet paper. 7. Be kind. Leave the house in the same condition in which you found it with dishes washed. 8. No food or drinks in the bedrooms. 9. Turn the air conditioner/heater off when you leave the house. In the summer, it cools off in the evenings.
