The SpaceWe are located on a 2 acre Ranch in one of the best kept secrets of LA County. On the Ranch, we have horses, goats, dogs and cats. Although you can't ride the horses, you can always give them carrots! The patio has a beautiful vista of the mountains and is as quiet and tranquil as it gets! You can hear the roosters in the morning and the coyotes at night. The "bunkhouse", as we like to call it, can sleep 1-3 people comfortably.
Nearby we have fantastic golfing at Robinson Ranch Golf Course, some of the most beautiful hiking/mountain bike trails in SoCal, Vasquez Rocks, the quaint villages of Newhall and Agua Dulce, The Gentle Barn, horseback riding facilities and local wineries. Although it is certainly a "country" feeling, we also have some fine restaurants and shopping areas. We are just a 30 minute ride from Hollywood, 40 minutes from Beverly Hills and you can be to the beach, to the mountains or to the desert within an hour. The Metrolink is also close by if you want to take a train ride to San Diego or Santa Barbara for the day.
If you need to unwind after a full day in the city, this is the place to do it. Come home, sit on the patio, have a glass of wine before dinner and enjoy the beautiful view. Consider this your "Ranch away from Home". Guest AccessYour "bunkhouse" consists of the living room which has an area for dining and/or working on your computer, internet and cable tv, a fully-equipped kitchen which also has a coffee maker, one bedroom with a queen size bed and a full bathroom. There is also a twin sofa-bed in the living area. You have full access to the backyard and patio and can park your car behind the gate. There is a barbecue at your disposal as well. Interaction with GuestsWe live in the main house on the property so will be on the premises should you need anything at all. We are happy to give you advise on where to go and what to see in the LA area. And we are well-versed in attractions throughout California as we have lived in the LA area for 45 years! We want you to enjoy our home as much as we love it. We look forward to your visit! The NeighborhoodWe love the tranquility of our Ranch. After working in LA all day, coming home and getting on our little country road is a blessing. The fresh air, the smell of animals and the openness of the Ranch make it a really wonderful place to come home to. Getting AroundA car is a must here in order to get around and you can park it behind the gate. The Metrolink, as I said, is within a few miles and can take you just about anywhere you'd like to go should you not want to drive. The easiest way to get to the Ranch is by car. Other Things to NoteIf you are at all allergic to animals, this is NOT the place for you. Smoking is discouraged; however, IF you have to smoke, it is allowed outside ONLY on the patio. No pets are allowed but you are welcome to enjoy ours if you'd like!
