      Upscale/Prime Location/Sleeps 2+/Amazing Amenities/All the comforts of home & then some... Luxurious 2,200 sqft Santa Monica home. This penthouse is truly magnificent and convenient to all that Santa Monica has to offer. This is a gated community with call box, a secure parking space, & elevator. It's a great place to gather with friends and family as it has a very open floor plan with no common walls. Your private master suite has a king bed, 64" HD plazma tv, fireplace and it's own attached custom bathroom fully equipped with a double marble sink, jet tub, and glass shower. It also has a small private balcony overlooking tops of palm trees. Amenities and common areas include, 3 balcony's,highend/front loading washer/dryer in the penthouse, gourmet kitchen, 2 fireplaces, high speed wireless internet, cable, & fax capability. It features a large gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops, white marble floors, and stainless steel appliances to include fridge-water and ice dispenser, dishwasher, wine fridge and gas range. The Kitchen opens up into the dining room which has a large table to seat 8 as well as a small bar off the kitchen which can hold 3. The Living-room is well lit and offers a gas fireplace, 60" 3D HD Smart TV system, 3d Blueray DVD & Glasses, and plenty of comfortable seating (couches have been changed from white to olive green). There is also a balcony over looking the street which you can access through the sliding glass door. Finally, Up the white marble staircase you will find an open loft area. This is also a nice place to kick back and put your feet up. This loft will lead you to our 300 Sqft deck. This space is beautiful by day and by night. During the day you can see the majestic Santa Monica mountains, and the tops of many a palm tree, by night you can star gaze and catch the city lights. The solar lights illuminate the patio by night and add to the comforting atmosphere. When you're sitting here you just want to take a deep breath and say, "ahhhhh". **SAFETY/CONVENIENCE*** This condo is walking distance to nearly everything you may want to do in Santa monica. We are just North of Wilshire, close to El Cholo,Huckleberry, Santa Monica Seafood, Melisse, and Rustic Canyon dining. And 4 blocks south of Montana Avenue, where you'll find world famous shopping and eateries. If the beach and Santa Monica Pier are something of interest, this too is only 11 blocks away. The house is comfortable with a remodeled interior, and it's walking distance to great nightlife, dining, & shopping in downtown Santa Monica! The Space Three Bedroom (all with queen beds), two full bathrooms completely refurbished home in the desirable neighborhood between Wilshire and Montana. Living room and Dining Room. Kitchen has ceramic tile floors, new cabinets and new stove. House has new carpet, laminate wood, ceramic tile floors. Single car garage for the house is located beneath the three units at the rear of the property. But best of all is the location. It's a five to ten minute walk to the best part of Santa Monica, great restaurants and nightlife. If you're familiar with LA you know that walking anywhere is usually NOT an option, but within a 10 minute walk you have nightlife, restaurants, shopping, beach, groceries right at your fingertips. Only steps to the beach, 5-10 minutes Downtown Santa Monica, 3rd Street Promenade, Venice Beach Boardwalk & Marina del Rey. Only 15 minutes from Malibu and the Getty Center. Parking is free during the day, but by permit only out front of the house between 6pm-8am. We will provide you with one vehicle permit upon check-in. This home is ideal for family reunions, for friends to share time with, workshop retreats or any other combination that appreciates this space close to the beaches of Santa Monica & Venice... It's about a 15 minute walk to the Santa Monica 'pleasure pier', the food co-op with local and organic foods is 1 block to the west and can take care of most family cooking within walking distance. The Saturday or Wednesday farmers market have the most delicious produce in the region... This house has 3 bedrooms and 2 outdoor living spaces, depending on your personal needs and comfort, this house can sleep a large group and here is how it works: - large artist bedroom w/private full bath/ CA king bed + pull out foam mattress / sleeps 2-4, ideal for a small family. - T-bedroom w/ Queen bed / sleeps 2 - golden bedroom w/ Queen bed / sleeps 2 - Mela, POD (portable outdoor dwelling - sleeps 1-3, 1 high bed, w/ fold out futon, great for kids. There are 2 bathrooms in the house... The house has wireless internet and washer & dryer. There are bikes that can be loaned with security deposit. The house is near the 10 'Cloverfield' fwy exit.         The Space****NOTE: There is one mid-sized dog in the space. She is SUPER friendly, quiet and gets along with everyone.**** ***ALSO NOTE: I am currently redecorating so there have been some updates to the interior decorations - more pieces from my world travels and more rustic, natural elements.*** This isn't one of those cold, modern, minimalist condos by the beach (if that's your thing, you'll wanna check out another pad). It gets tons of light and there are eclectic details that make this space cozy and unique, a true beachside home away from home. There's also access to outdoor social spaces so you won't feel confined even on those days you choose not to venture out and about. Guest AccessYou will have full access to one private bedroom with hanging closet space and a bookshelf, ceiling fan, tons of light and fresh air from two windows above the queen-sized bed. There is a shared bathroom with shower that separates you from the other bedroom (which will be occupied by either me or my roommate depending on the timeframe). You will also have access to a coin-operated laundry and dryer which is shared with the rest of the building. There are only four total units and my neighbors are super friendly. There are modern, stainless steel appliances in the kitchen as well as a dishwasher (there is dish detergent under the kitchen sink). Along with fridge space you will have labeled cupboard space as well (help yourself to the instant oatmeal if you're stuck for breakfast). The living and dining areas are also shared and my roommate and I are super chill so don't be afraid to socialize :) Interaction with GuestsEither myself or my roommate will be staying in the other bedroom during your stay and you can always reach me by phone with any questions or concerns. You will also meet our other fuzzy roommate: Harlow, THE friendliest doggie ever! The NeighborhoodEverything is so walkable here! And if you don't feel like walking, rent a bike for the day. Santa Monica and Venice are super bike-friendly and the beach bike path is less than a 5 minute ride from my front door! You can go all the way down to Manhattan Beach or further! You can walk to all the great restaurants and bars, art galleries and parks on Main Street in 10 minutes and the Santa Monica Pier and Third Street Promenade are only a 20 minute walk away (everything's even closer by bike)! There's tons of bus stops for the Big Blue Bus which can get you just about anywhere and the scenic views are to die for. Though my building is right off Lincoln Blvd., my street is super quiet and you won't even know you're right off a main thoroughfare. Getting AroundThere's a bus stop at the corner of Lincoln and Bay and you can rent bikes for the day or by the hour at a stand just south of the Pier on Ocean Front Walk. Everything is so walkable or bike-able you won't even need a car! Other Things to NoteIn the fantastic Main Street Neighborhood of Santa Monica! Right off Lincoln at the 10 - easy access! PARKING: There is plenty of on the street parking in the neighborhood read the parking signs carefully to avoid getting a summons. The apartment building is older but well maintained. As it always is with apartment living, there are shared walls and floors so please respect the neighbors by keeping the noise to a respectable living level. The unit is on the second floor so things like running a vacuum cleaner after 9PM could be disturbing to the occupants below. During the winter months nights can be a little chilly. Please use thermostat conservatively (80 degrees max. during the evening hours) I request SHOES OFF when walking through out the apartment to keep the light colored carpet clean as possible. Getting AroundS.M. buses are very easily accessible. The Santa Monica beach is a 5 minute drive. A parking structure can be located on 2nd street going West on Wilshire Blvd. which leaves you in between 3rd Street Promenade, Santa Monica Place (Mall) and of course the famous Santa Monica Pier. Santa Monica's art scene is a big part of our neighborhood's attraction. Within 8.3 square miles (21.5 km²) of walkable, seaside city, there are 6 Santa Monica museums, 40 public art installations and over 90 art galleries. From the world renowned to the neighborhood icon, Santa Monica hosts a great variety of entertainment both scheduled and spontaneous – from concerts on the pier to musicals at the new state of the art theater, the Broad Stage. Shuttles are located on the lower level. Taxi Cab Services: From LAX to Santa Monica, there is a flat rate of $35 North of I-10 and $30 South of I-10, not including tip (approximately 15% of fare). Once you arrive in town, Santa Monica offers a number of franchised taxi companies available for your travel needs. Big Blue Bus: The Rapid 3 line runs between the Aviation Green Line Metro Station and downtown Santa Monica with additional stops within the city. From the transportation islands at the airport, shuttles run to and from the Green Line Station (Route G) and to the LAX City Bus Center transit station (Route C) at Parking Lot C, which is the best place to catch the Rapid 3. Fare is $1 (50 cents for seniors and passengers with disabilities). Allow about 20-30 minutes to make the shuttle connection and travel. The non-express #3, which makes more stops en route to Santa Monica (about 30 minutes to downtown) and in town, also operates from the transit center at Parking Lot C.         The Space1 King bed, 1 queen bed and a loft with full size bed and 2 patios; one is 700sf which is a crazy big patio for either yoga, chilling, roller skating or capture the flag, OK maybe not that big. The home has high ceilings, upstairs office, 1 bath, open kitchen, bbq grill, heat lamp and underground garage guest parking. Everything is here except toothbrush, actually got that covered as well. There is a cabinet of any toiletries you might have forgotten. It is in the artist colony lofts in Santa Monica right off the 10 and Lincoln. A couple blocks from Main Street and the beach. I have 2 bikes and 2 surf boards, you can use. Also, it is easy to jump on any highway given the location even thou we are located in a quiet area. A little about me: I grabbed all the good stuff of sunny California. Love cooking, yoga, pretend to surf, work on art projects and gardening outside, eat healthy, finished 1st year of spiritual psychology program, running a start-up medical company and basically enjoying myself. I try to translate all of that in my home and how I host people. I really love to be of service so truly make my best effort to ensure you enjoy yourself. So please do!

        The SpaceGreat 1 br apartment for sublet for two weeks in September. This is the best block in all of LA (in my humble opinion anyway) The perfect size and layout for one or two people. I've lived here for over three years and absolutely love it. It has many windows and is very bright. The bedroom is spacious and there is plenty of storage space. Right across the doorsteps there is a small park and the beach is only a few blocks away. There is a TV and WIFI, I don't have cable though. The place comes with one parking spot which is very convenient. The neighborhood combines the best of Southern Santa Monica and Venice Beach. You are a short walk from anything on Main street, the Santa Monica Pier is in walking distance as well as Venice right at your doorsteps. I have lived in most of the cooler neighborhoods in LA, including Silverlake, Downtown and Venice for many years and this is hands down the best location I know in all of LA. The minimum stay is two weeks.

The couch opens up to a double bed so there is bed space for six. The open configuration of living room, dining room, and kitchen makes the 1200 square feet seem much more spacious. Our location is unique because of its access to so many other places by walking, bus, or car. Three local Farmers Markets give you fresh produce Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. The beach is just a few blocks walk. There are bike, Segway and surfboard rental shops within a few blocks and a bowling alley and cafe practically in our back yard. A new children's playground opened this year which is hours of fun for your young children and they don't even get full of sand. Guest AccessYou will have the full use of our home and can pick food from the garden. You will have a permit to park on the street if you have a car. Getting AroundBus stop is around the corner. I-10 can be accessed from the Ocean Ave (3 mins drive) or Lincoln (5-6 mins drive) LAX is about 15 mins away (with traffic might take up to 45 mins) One car parking spot can be provided. There's also free street parking on Montana, 5th and 6th street (between Montana and Idaho).. Just pay attention to the street signs to make sure there's no street sweeping on that day
