Yoga, meditation, or just plain relaxation will be yours in our very tranquil and almost unbelievable tropical setting. Note: The owners, Dino and Florida Ohanian, live on the 1-1/2 acre premises in a separate and completely detached house. That said, we very much want to respect your complete privacy if this is a concern...please let us know if this is of importance. Guest AccessThe guests will have total access to the spa, pool, barbecue, tea house and all of the grounds surrounding the Cabana. Of if they want to be totally private, we can do that. Getting AroundThere is a bus stop that is less than one block away that will take you right into downtown Santa Barbara. Other Things to NoteFree parking for one car is included. There will be an 11% Transient Occupancy Tax (based on the nightly rental total) collected when you arrive. To heat the pool to 80°, there is an extra fee of $75 per day. Please note that we do have one very calm and disciplined small dog who lives with us on the property as well.

The SpaceWelcome to our 3BR/2BA coastal hideaway in enchanting Summerland. We initially purchased this vacation home for its amazing ocean views and then we fell in love with its classic California charm. When you walk in the front door you will be filled with a sense of wonderment by the open flow of the home which is enhanced by the floor to ceiling glass doors. The full kitchen has wrap-around tile counters which are perfect for food preparation when making snacks or family style meals. The kitchen opens up into the upstairs living room and makes for the perfect entertaining space. The upstairs living room has a comfy couch and amazing ocean views from the huge windows overlooking the tree tops. The large sliding glass doors open up to the upstairs deck which has plenty of seating area and is our favorite spot to enjoy our morning coffee while watching the ocean waves. Our two guest bedrooms are located on the main level with a shared bathroom. The first guest room has a big cozy queen bed and tons of closet space; we like to call this room “The Queen Room”. Our second guest bedroom is kid friendly with a twin bed with a trundle underneath. The upstairs living room has a unique spiral staircase which leads down to the second living room which comes complete with a big plush couch, flat screen TV, and a second patio area. The downstairs floor has the master bedroom which has a deluxe king bed, TV with cable and private bathroom. We even have a second entrance into our house on the bottom floor, which allows for our guests to come and go without inconveniencing others. We hope you love your stay at our ocean hideaway in the hills; there is no better place to escape to! Summerland –this town’s name says it all! Lookout Park has a beautiful beach for sunbathers, surfers, horseback riding, and so much more! Summerland Winery is right on the main drag down the street from our beautiful house. The SpaceQuaint beach cottage located in the friendly beach community of Summerland, Ca., The weather is so mild here it is often called the American version of the Mediterranean in Europe. A 5 minute walk from the house down to the beach, 5 minute drive along HWY 101 which runs up and down the California coastline, to Santa Barbara. Bright and sunny with lovely ocean views from most windows, nice garden area, with picnic table, a patio, and an old stone fireplace. Cute tiled bathroom with full bath/shower. 2 bedrooms each with queen size beds. Bright furnished kitchen area, with Wedgewood stove, fridge,and washing machine/dryer. Walk to our charming Cape Cod style downtown community and, browse around the many shops and antique stores that Summerland has become famous for. The Summerland Cafe is a great place to take the family for a robust breakfast and lunch' The Nugget is a famous place to eat too since President Clinton and President Reagen chose the Nugget as their favorite dining spot. Or stroll on down to Lookout Park, and take a relaxing long walk on the beach all the way down to Padaro Lane, homes of many famous people like Kevin Costner. A 5 minute drive takes you to downtown Santa Barbara, where you can visit the Mission, the Court House, or the Harbor and all of the popular tourist attractions. The SpaceSpacious detached studio apartment in the beautiful, quaint beach community of Summerland, California, 5 miles south of downtown Santa Barbara. This clean and bright studio has a comfy queen bed with 400 thread count sheets, a sofa hide-a-bed, bathroom with a shower, and a fully stocked kitchen. It has TV and internet. Onsite parking available. We will have snacks, bottled water, coffee, tea and juice in the studio for you to enjoy. We have a hairdryer and extra toiletries in the bathroom, just in case you forget something. And we have an iron and ironing board and beach chairs and towels for you to use during your stay. Walk to Lookout Park and Summerland Beach, shops and restaurants, as well as Summerland's many antique shops. We have several great restaurants right here in Summerland that are just a short walk away. The very popular Summerland Beach Cafe serves great breakfasts and lunch. Another fun place for lunch and dinner is the local hangout The Nugget, where both Presidents Reagan and Clinton ate at. You never know who you will see there, Kevin Costner, Troy Aikman, and other local celebrities frequent the Nugget. The February 2012 issue of Sunset magazine picks Summerland as one of the 5 best tropical dream towns in the west!               Welcome to our 3BR/2BA coastal hideaway in enchanting Summerland. We initially purchased this vacation home for its amazing ocean views and then we fell in love with its classic California charm. When you walk in the front door you will be filled with a sense of wonderment by the open flow of the home which is enhanced by the floor to ceiling glass doors. The full kitchen has wrap-around tile counters which are perfect for food preparation when making snacks or family style meals. The kitchen opens up into the upstairs living room and makes for the perfect entertaining space. The upstairs living room has a comfy couch and amazing ocean views from the huge windows overlooking the tree tops. The large sliding glass doors open up to the upstairs deck which has plenty of seating area and is our favorite spot to enjoy our morning coffee while watching the ocean waves. Our two guest bedrooms are located on the main level with a shared bathroom. The first guest room has a big cozy queen bed and tons of closet space; we like to call this room “The Queen Room”. Our second guest bedroom is kid friendly with a twin bed with a trundle underneath. The upstairs living room has a unique spiral staircase which leads down to the second living room which comes complete with a big plush couch, flat screen TV, and a second patio area. The downstairs floor has the master bedroom which has a deluxe king bed, TV with cable and private bathroom. We even have a second entrance into our house on the bottom floor, which allows for our guests to come and go without inconveniencing others.                                     The SpaceThis unique mobile home has a commanding view of the beach and ocean in the quaint town of Summerland. Sit at the cobalt blue tile counter in the kitchen and watch the sunrise (and moonrise) over the water. The home has a double bed in the main bedroom and a loft bed in the other. There is also a large couch in the living room. It can sleep 3+ but there is only one bathroom so I prefer only 2 people. There are 30 units in the Summerland by the Sea park which is tucked in the foothills with an easy 5 minute walk to the beach or enjoy the trail behind the home to view Montecito beach, ocean and town of Santa Barbara. This cost of this home is $100.00 per night for 1-2 people. The main reason I am offering such a low rate is that I will need the guests to let my cat "Tom" in the house each night and out during the day. He is a very loving cat and guests will need to make sure his food and water is available; my neighbors can help, if needed. I am also interested interested in sharing my home with one other person for a reduced fee of $75.00 since I will be sleeping in the loft bed. I am an active working woman who spends much time away from home. I can introduce you to many outside Santa Barbara activities. Summerland has a few fun restaurants, coffee house and fun winery. There is a store to get groceries about 1/2 mile away and closer stores for beverages and snacks. Bus service is very close which can take you into Santa Barbara.

Getting AroundWe will be available (time permitting) for pick up and drop off from the airport for a $20.00 fee each way. Ubers rates are $26-35 to and or from the airport. There is a local bus the stops just down the street that heads in to town (Santa Barbara).Feel free to park in our drive way if there is space or just in front of the house. Other Things to NoteYou will be greeted by our cat Sissy. She has a cat door and free feeds so you can just let her be. She will just do her thing and stay out of your way.

And just 10 minutes away is the wonderful town of Santa Barbara with a wide variety of beach activities, shops and 4 star restaurants. Getting AroundThere is public transit but a car would make transportation easier.
