This home is located in Stapleton; Denver neighborhood developed on the prior Stapleton International Airport. It is located about 6 miles east of downtown Denver. Stapleton is ranked in the top 5 best planned communities in the entire country! Stapleton offers parkways, public art, summer concerts and markets. This home is only a couple blocks away from parks and open space. There are 36 miles of biking and walking trails as well as 7 community pools. The linen closet is stocked with a wireless printer, document shredder, shiatsu back massager, heated throw, hot/cold packs, fabric steamer, maps and bus schedules Linens are furnished in bathroom and laundered weekly by your host Guests are welcome to use kitchen, basic condiments and spices are provided by host. Long term guests must provide their own regularly used consumables (Ziploc's, coffee filters, etc.) No kitchen use after 10:00pm Laundry facilities are available for extended stay guests (3 days or longer). Laundry must be finished by 9pm and long-term guests are allowed 2 loads per week. I'm located 16 miles from Downtown Denver, 10 miles from the Cherry Creek area and shopping mall and 5 miles from Lowry. There are two 24 Hour Fitness locations nearby if you have a membership. You Fit (circuit training) just opened a few blocks away $10 down/$10 a month. There is also a Lady Fitness within walking distance. Getting AroundBuses are easy access from my home. I am also located near major interstates. If you have a vehicle there is parking on the street in front of my house.     The SpaceThis 1700 square foot home has it all! The master bedroom has a queen size bed and it's own bathroom with two sinks and an oversized shower. There is also a large closet for you to use. The 2nd bedroom has a double bed. The 2nd and 3rd bedroom share a bathroom with an oversized bathtub/shower combo. The third bedroom also has a double bed. The upstairs also has a laundry room and a loft room. The loft has a large l-shaped couch that pulls out into a double bed. Directly across from the couch is a 50" television. There is also an office nook upstairs with access to our home desktop and printer plus room to work on your own laptop. The downstairs is wide open with a large kitchen with lots of countertop space and everything you need to cook a meal. You are welcome to use any spices, oils and condiments that are there as well. There is a flat screen tv above the gas fireplace. The house has an unfinished basement with a ping pong table and a pool table. A perfect place for kids to run around and play! The house is situated on the edge of a large grass courtyard. Plenty of room for kids to run around or just hang out. Guest AccessGuests can access the entire house but there is no parking in the garage.. Interaction with GuestsThe interaction may be minimal as I am travelling a lot. However, I have someone that can come by if you need help with something. The NeighborhoodJust across the street, we have Bluff Lake Nature Center. Early morning walks (there is a mile dirt path around it (no bikes)) are awesome. There are beautiful birds everywhere, deer, foxes, even bald eagles in the winter. The Sand Creek trail heads NW and SE from there and you can connect it with trails to go all around the city of denver. About 4 blocks west is one of our neighborhood's pools. You will have to buy a day pass. This summer, there will be 5 pools to chose from in the hood. A half mile from the house is the Central Park Recreation Center with a large indoor pool and workout room and cardio equipment that looks out over Stapelton's Central Park and west to the mountains. There are bike/walking trails everywhere and a 2 1/2 mile walk/ride takes you to our town center with restaurants, groceries, bars, etc. I can get downton in 15 minutes on Martin Luther King Blvd and the same to the airport via 1-70. Stapleton is a fantastic location to see all that Denver has to offer. Getting AroundThere is bus service to downtown and to the airport from Stapleton.

We have been hosting international students and guests in our home for 20 years. We enjoy meeting new people and getting to know them and even doing things together. The NeighborhoodA quiet suburban neighborhood with a beautiful park just a block away to walk or run in that has GREAT mtn views! A free parking space in front of home. A quiet and relaxing neighborhood and area. Getting AroundCity bus a block away that can take you to the Light Rail. A city bus goes directly from DIA and drops you off 3 blocks from our home. The light rail isn't too far to get on that will take you downtown or South to the Park Meadows Mall. Other Things to NoteWe are fun, easy going people who love to meet new people from around the world. Several times a year, we host International Students so the bedroom is not available. I teach downhill skiing during the week days, so if anyone wants to catch a ride to Breckenridge, they are welcome.

The NeighborhoodOur Carriage House is located in the Eastbridge neighborhood of the Stapleton Redevelopment. This a a new neighborhood built on the former site of the Stapleton International Airport. The neighborhood has been developed according the new urbanism design principles with 1/3 of the land devoted to parks and open space. It is a great neighborhood for families, walking and bicycling. A regional recreation center with a pool and workout facilities is located 3 blocks away. The neighborhood also operates 6 outdoor pools in the summer months. Getting AroundThere is ample on street parking for personal vehicles. The apartment is located within 2 blocks of RTD Bus Route 89 that provides weekday hourly service between the Central Park Station and the Anschutz Medical Campus. We are located within 2 miles of both the Central Park and Peoria Stations that serve the A Line commuter rail between Denver International Airport and Downtown Denver. The Peoria Station also serves the I-225 light rail line (R Line) through Aurora in lat 2016. The closest highway access is I-70 at Havana Street. Uber and Lynx both operate in Denver along with a number of traditional taxi services. Stapleton is outside the Denver Car2Go home area, however, their cars are available at the nearby Central Park Station and Anschutz Medical Campus. My beautiful two-story condo is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood. Across the street is a lovely, large city park. My home is neat and clean, peaceful and quiet.       The SpaceThis new, modern home in Stapleton will serve all you needs. The light and bright master bedroom has a wonderful balcony with mountain views and quiet atmosphere, one bedroom has a set of twin beds, sleeping two, and the other bedroom has one twin bed. In the basement is a queen-sized murphy bed and full bath. The guest bedrooms share a bathroom, while the Master bedroom has an en suite bathroom with large soaking tub and walk in shower. Attached to the house is a wonderful side yard with outdoor seating and wood-burning fireplace. In the garage, you'll have access to three bikes, man's, woman's, teeen's. On the main floor, you'll enjoy a gourmet, fully functioning, kitchen with natural gas stove and oven. If it's cool enough, enjoy the gas-burning fireplace in the living room while you dine in the nook. Downstairs, let the kids play in the finished basement with a closet full of games. Internet wifi is included throughout the house, and you'll have access to Amazon Prime, Netflix, and other internet TV. There's also ping-pong tables one block away in the park. We have paddles and ping pong balls for you to use. No smoking of ANY kind. Guest AccessYou'll have complete access to the entire house except for the small closet in the basement, which is locked.       Guest AccessGuests can use the shared living room with TV (Netflix, Hulu). There is a fridge in the room that is all yours. All of the kitchen equipment (stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, Keurig coffee maker) may be used, but I expect my guests to clean up after themselves. :) WiFi is free. Interaction with GuestsI am very open and outgoing. Over the years I have had a lot of foreign exchange students staying at my house who I loved talking to. I love to get to know new people from different cultures and countries. I work full time as a pharmacy technician. At the moment a tram is being installed that will go straight to the airport and to Denver Downtown.

Getting AroundStapleton is about 20 minutes from DIA and downtown, several hospitals and sports arenas. There is also a laundry room in the basement that guests may use and share with us as well as the backyard. The NeighborhoodWe are very close to the University Hospital, Children's Hospital and the new VA Hospital. We are also close to Stapelton which has shopping and places to eat. In addition near the hospitals there is a brewery and bars to hang out. We are also only 15-20 mins from downtown Denver and travel there is very easy and quick depending on traffic. You will also be close to City Park, the museum and the zoo and travel there is only 10-15 minutes from the house. Getting AroundThe best way to get around is with the use of a car. Car rentals can be found near the airport if you are flying in or the use of Uber in Denver is very popular. However, if you are traveling into town to visit any of the hospitals one can easily walk there or ride a bike. Other Things to NoteThere is a full backyard which includes a grill. Use of the backyard is allowed and we encourage our guest to sit, grill and relax whenever they feel.

The house sits on a green belt, accessible from the back yard. It's not uncommon to see people walking the nearby trail systems with their dogs or across the street at the nearby park.           This is a super cute home that was renovated in 2015, everything is brand new. The home has large windows that bring in great natural light from the over 300 days of sunshine per year. The home is conveniently located in between Denver International airport and downtown Denver. It has very comfortable pillow top beds, 3 high definition flat screen televisions ( with HBO, Showtime, Encore, Cinemax and Netflix), and high speed internet. This house is located in Aurora, 2 miles from University of Colorado hospital, Children's hospital and the soon to be completed VA hospital. It is also close to Buckley Air Force Base, Dick's Sporting Goods Park, downtown Denver and Denver International Airport. All you need to bring is your personal products and clothes, everything else is provided. Pots, pans, dishes, flatware and cooking utensils and coffee are all included...the closest grocery store is 1/2 mile away. The living room has a 60 inch 4K Ultra HD TV flat screen. All three bedrooms have top of the line pillow top queen mattresses, high quality linens, and super comfortable pillows. The Master has its own 39" flat screen TV, as well as a 39" flat screen in the second bedroom. The kitchen has slab granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances. The spacious laundry room has a high efficiency front load washer and dryer. Please no cats, my husband is allergic. Ok for up to two dogs up to 45 lbs each. Well trained/behaved dogs only (house trained, does not chew on furnishings, some barking is normal, but one neighbor will complain if there is to much barking). Also, please plan on cleaning up after the dogs in the yard. Thank you The back yard is private and has a deck.
