The SpaceLocated in the heart of the Highlands. The Highlands is the "it neighborhood" right now. The entire condo has been updated. Open floor plan with a backyard and grill! The backyard was just remodeled, and the patio is great. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Downtown is a short ride, but in walking distance for someone who wants a little exercise. There is a nice air mattress if needed, just let me know ahead of time. Close to the mountains and Red Rocks and the Denver Convention Center. Great spot in a great neighborhood. Lots to do and explore. 20min from DIA and close to I-25. There is street parking and there is never an issue finding a spot. There is a dishwasher and please help yourself to anything in the house. Interaction with GuestsThrough Dec 18th you would be sharing the space with me, but I am not home much. Dates after Dec 18th I will not be in the apartment at all. Getting AroundThe best way to get from DIA to downtown or the reverse would be to take an Uber for about $35-$40 or a cab which is $55 one way (make sure to let the cab driver know that you know it's $55 & confirm before you get in) or the Super Shuttle which is ~$22 per person. It does laps every few minutes around the airport to pick up. However, the shuttle does make stops along the way so if you are on a schedule this wouldn't be your best bet. Other Things to NoteMy boyfriend's Golden Retriever sometimes stays at my place. He is 7 yrs old and very friendly. At night he stays in my bedroom. He is not there if I am not home, however if you are not OK with dogs or allergic, please know he has been in the space. Feel free to confirm if he will be there during your stay. He has been there during many of my guests stay and no one has had any issues. Just a little FYI :)

If you're coming to the neighborhood, it's probably not ideal to bring your own vehicle. Parking can be pretty tough and there are lots of other great options to get around Denver. If you are driving I can provide a reserved outdoor parking space for an additional fee. Colfax and Broadway are just a few blocks away and the "main drag" of Denver. Colfax is serviced by the number 15 bus. Broadway is serviced by the Zero. Both routes have super regular service and $2.25 each way is a cheap ride. Check out RTD Denver for more details. The neighborhood is also loaded up with car sharing from Zip Car, Occasional Car and Car2go. check out them out for further details. There is also a Denver B Cycle Station(Denver's Bike sharing) just a block away. If you are bringing your own vehicle there are surface lots in the area but plan on an additional cost to park your car/rental. The studio is just a block and a half from Colfax which is host to a lot of pedestrian traffic and bus routes to all across the city. Other Things to NoteI can completely hook you up if you are traveling here to enjoy Colorado's new marijuana laws at my so-called B&B -- Bed & Buds. My other B&B is Bed & Broncos I have full service packages with 12th row tickets to every home gam. Lastly is Bed & Boys -- if you are here to enjoy the gay nightlife of Denver.

Guest AccessGuests have access to outdoor space for tobacco smoking. Interaction with GuestsThis apartment is exclusively for vacation renters. You won't find any of my personal possessions lying around. None of my clothes in the closet, no half-used deodorant in the medicine cabinet. There's a 24-hour management company that can take care of anything, at any time. A key to your private exterior entrance awaits you, no matter when you arrive. The NeighborhoodCongress Park is such a convenient and beautiful area. Public transportation that will take you downtown in just 10 minutes is 2 blocks away. It's an easy walk to restaurants (Annie's for breakfast, lunch, and dinner) is also 2 blocks away, bars, and Sprouts, an incredible supermarket, is a 5-minute walk. You can also walk to the Cherry Creek shopping area. There's lots of 24-hour on-street parking in front of the apartment. Other Things to NoteWhen I learned that Colorado had approved recreational marijuana, I jumped at the opportunity to participate. Alas, I had trouble finding really nice vacation rentals that would allow me to smoke (indoors). I decided that I would buy a really nice property in a really nice and convenient neighborhood and turn it into a pot-friendly vacation rental. I hope you enjoy it!

My favorite places within walking distance are City O City, Ace's fish house, and Steuben's. There is a great little market, Marczyk, close by that sells fresh produce, meat, and fish along with a variety of prepared foods, cheeses, and desserts. Although the building is not equipped with an AC unit, there is a ceiling fan in the room and also a window fan to keep up air movement within the room. Parking is 2 hour limited on Logan St, behind the apartment or free 2 blocks further East. All street parking is free Monday-Friday, 6pm-9am and all weekend, abiding by street parking signs. There is also a $7 per day parking lot directly across Grant street, diagonal from the building front entrance. This is the ultimate spot to stay and play in Denver! I look forward to hosting you. The SpaceA perfectly laid out walk-up row house with great sunlight, exposed brick, and high ceilings in a quiet neighborhood right in the middle of everything Denver has to offer. A private bedroom and work space with a queen sized bed located just off an open kitchen/living area, with a clean recently redone bathroom, full cooking amenities and fridge, and large clothing washer and dryer. Big screen television with cable. Guest AccessFull access to indoor space. Side yard is shared amongst units in the row house, open to everyone anytime. Be respective of neighbors at night. Interaction with GuestsKeyless entry for both doors, check in and out at your own leisure. I prefer text messaging, but am available by phone and email. The NeighborhoodLincoln Park is located directly outside downtown Denver but has the sleepy feel of something much less central. Lincoln Park is a transitional neighborhood, so it can be a little rough around the edges if you're not a city person. Turn of the century houses located around the corner from Denver's Santa Fe arts district and the Cherry Creek trail, Lincoln Park is truly Denver's last hidden treasure. Walk to the Denver Convention Center, The Performing Arts Center, or the Pepsi Center within minutes and avoid the parking debacles. Unique restaurant experiences, Domo & The Buckhorn Exchange, are right around the corner along with many other great dining and drinking options. Strange, Renegade, and Black Sky breweries are close by offering great microbrews. A supermarket and liquor store are blocks away. Make sure to reference my guidebook/map for recommendations of neighborhoods, food/drink, and culture! Getting AroundExcited to announce that you can now take the light rail to my place from Denver International Airport! Take the train from DIA to Union Station; take the underground walkway over to jump onto the C or E lines; ride to the Osage & 10th stop - 4 stops from Union Station. My place is northeast across the park - 3 blocks North / 3 blocks East. The walk can appear a bit sketchy through my neighborhood if you're not used to cities - I do it all the time but I'm a tall male - just keep that in mind if you come in late at night. The other light rail stop 2 blocks north is great for getting to downtown locations. Colfax Avenue two blocks up is a good a place as any to hail a cab in Denver. Ubers, Lyfts, and Denver B-Cycles abound. Cherry Creek trail is blocks away. So many great places are walkable. Other Things to NoteQuiet, small pets are allowed, must verify with me first No smoking of any kind Feel free to have a few people over and enjoy the side yard but keep the volume down a bit, the place is small and has a shared wall with full-time tenants and property owners in every direction. There's a free-standing AC unit in the bedroom; the wall thermostat is for heat only. You can aim the AC out into the front room and it will still cool the bedroom. On 95 degree+ days you might need to run it all day or it will never cool the place fully for night.

The SpaceThis light-filled townhome has hardwood floors, carpet, stainless steel appliances and beautiful furniture from Room and Board and West Elm. Feel free to enjoy a meal at the dinner table or on the spacious private balcony. I love to cook and have several kitchen gadgets including an egg poacher, blender, stainless steel pots and pans and plenty more. There are two spacious, full bathrooms so two people can get ready at the same time. If you like having a breeze while you're sleeping, open the patio door that goes out to the patio off of the bedroom. The space is comfortable enough that you might just want to stay in, but being in the midst of Denver's hottest new neighborhood, you will probably end up going out for a drink and dinner nearby. Guest AccessGuests will have access to the entire townhome including the garage. While it is a two car garage, there is only space for one car. You will also have access to a beautiful, modern office space that inhabits the second bedroom. Interaction with GuestsI will leave guests to enjoy their stay unless they need something, in which case I am always available by text, phone or email. The NeighborhoodExcellent location with amazing walkability and all indoor amenities. This townhome is right in the heart of Curtis Park, one of Denver's hottest new zip codes that is sandwiched in-between Rino and Uptown. You are no more than 3 - 10 blocks from several of Denver's best new restaurants and bars as many of them are popping up within blocks. If you're in town for work, you could walk 1 block and catch the light rail and then take the free 16th street shuttle. It couldn't be more convenient to getting downtown while enjoying a more residential, eclectic and walkable feel. Getting AroundWalking distance to: B-Cycle Rental Bikes (2 minutes) Lightrail (1 minute) Coors Field (20 minutes) Union Station (35 minutes) Denver Convention Center (20 minutes) Pepsi Center (20 mins) Aquarium (25 mins) Children's Museum (25 mins) Safeway (10 minutes) Coffee Shop (5 minutes) Bike paths are plentiful and you could tour the whole city on the bike path hub a few blocks away. There is a bike station a few blocks away that features rentals called b-cycle (free for the first half hour.) The 16th Street Mall is at the center of Denver and the free mall ride will take you up and down the 1.5 mile stretch of shops and restaurants. There are also smart cars distributed throughout the neighborhood that can be easily rented from the website Car2go. Other Things to NoteThe townhome is a perfect corporate or vacation rental. There is a great yoga studio just a few minutes away. My favorite neighborhood restaurants include Populist, Los Chingones, Work & Class, The Curtis Club, Snooze (get there early!), Il Posto and Marco's Coal Fired Pizzeria. A few great bars are Los Chingones, The Thin Man and Breckenridge Brewery. I am always happy to help with any other recommendations as well.

But after arriving you’ll have the city at your door. -Live local (5 minutes) – Throw some sunglasses on and head out the door in whatever attire you choose. Flip-flops and a winter jacket are very normal everyday Denver attire. Gas, breakfast burritos, DONUTS, coffee and liquor just steps away. Did we mention the Santiago’s burritos for 2$? -Get Moving (15 minutes) – Grab your runners or flip-flops and head out to explore. Tons of cool pocket neighborhoods, Cherry Creek Trail, the lightrail and downtown; all in a day’s travels. Rockies game, next stop! -Pack the Car (30 minutes+) – From the heart of the city you’ll be a short drive to the mountains, Garden of the Gods, Red Rocks, Boulder and of course the airport. WHAT ARE THE SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS? (2) The private bedroom combines a super comfy, queen bed with lots of hanging space and a private bath. The bath is the main showering bath. The SpaceHi Folks! Welcome to the “Osmyn Parker House”! I have lovingly restored this old 1887 Queen Anne and it has been featured in numerous newspaper articles as well as being the center piece for several annual Historic Denver house tours. Being the sole resident of this grand old house, only 9 blocks from the center of the city, I love sharing it with interesting travelers!!! This beautiful home lies in the the heart of the San Rafael Historic district, one of Denver's greatest historic neighborhoods close to downtown, City Park, 17th Avenue Restaurant Row and so much more. Relax outside on our beautiful and peaceful back patio or jump on a bike (the Denver B-Cycle station is only two blocks away!) and tour around Denver. You are welcome to use the kitchen, living and dining as well. While things are very "walkable", there is also a bus stop just across the street or a cab ride to the convention center (center of downtown) is only $6-8 in inclement weather. Since we are opening up our home and our lives to you we would greatly appreciate it if you would make sure that your profile is filled out before you submit a request. Cheers, Jim

2 bedroom cozy wood floor throughout bungalow just 5 mins out of downtown Denver or a quick ten minutes to the foothills. Perfect for skiers hoping to enjoy the best of both worlds. SKIERS!! Book now, the house is five blocks from highway access to the mountains. You're literally ten minutes from the foothills (and five from downtown) EIGHT THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THIS HOUSE: 1. YOU GET THE WHOLE HOUSE? Yes. You get the whole, 1400 square-foot bungalow. We'll meet you with the keys, give you clean linens for the queen-size bed and towels. 2. INTERWEBS? Wifi is included. 3. GETTING AROUND? You are five minutes to downtown Denver. The Sixth Avenue viaduct is five blocks away and will deliver you to the heart of Denver in five minutes. Skiing? Cool. Sixth Avenue will also take you directly to the foothills in ten minutes. 4. SLEEPING? There is one queen size bed, one full-size bed, two couches, and one large, carpeted empty room in the basement for extra floor-sleepers. The house comes with enough linens for six people. 5. COFFEE? We'll leave a bag out for the french press. Make yourself at home. 6. ON-SITE LAUNDRY? Yep. There's a washer and a dryer in the mud room. Clean-at-will. 7. THERE IS A PORCH?!? There are two porches. One in front and one in back. The front porch has a chair swing and two rocking chairs, the back one has chairs for four people, a chimenea, and a prep table. 8. THIS IS UN-HOTEL. When you're not staying here, I am. That means you'll share space with some of my stuff. Be kind to my neighbors and my things. I do my best to make it nice and neat for your stay and for my life. You're a budget-conscious and adventurous traveler and I'm a good-faith dealmaker; be good. **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** THE SHORT: 5 MINUTES TO DOWNTOWN DENVER. Perfectly-priced and well situated. 1400 Square feet of wood-floor-throughout bungalow just 5 minutes to downtown and situated in the heart of amazing regional fare. Covered porch, rear patio with fireplace chimenea, on-site washer and dryer, great kitchen and cookware, soft queen-size bed, clean sheets and towels. **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** THE LONG: Welcome to my 1923 three bedroom one bathroom bungalow located five mins west of downtown Denver and ten minutes from the foothill gateway to the Rocky Mountains. The home offers roughly 1400 square feet which includes a kitchen, a bedroom, an office, a washroom, a gigantic living room, and two open rooms in the basement. Broken down, the kitchen (the hub of my life/house) is stocked with all kinds of cooking amenities (I love to cook and can and keep a large garden in the summers). Gas range, stove, full-size fridge/freezer, a gigantic spice rack, plates, silverware, pots, pans, specialty cookware, microwave, knives, cutting board, etc. The living room has an upright piano and a few guitars to play around with. Upstairs includes a spacious, full-width living room, a large kitchen, a bedroom, an office (which can double as a bedroom for extra guests, a bathroom with a shower/bath, a washroom with a mop sink, washer, and dryer. The basement has a 6'2" ceiling (a little low, but easily manageable for most) and is divided into two carpeted rooms. Both can double for sleeping space and are largely unencumbered by furniture. The best amenities of the house includes wifi internet, a washer and dryer, a six-foot fenced back yard, a rear patio with a chimenea fireplace, a gas grill, lawn chairs, outdoor table, a covered front porch complete with porch swing and two rocking chairs, a fairly sizable library of books, two desks, two sofas, one queen size bed, and dark, softwood douglas fir floors throughout the home. I have two cats when guests are not around --if you're allergic, take note. The house is perfect for two people looking to escape comfortably or around six people who are happy with couch and floor accommodations for weekend homebase for mountain excursions. There is a bus stop roughly one block from my front door, reliable taxi services and quick access to the Sixth Avenue viaduct. Sixth terminates at the mountains to the west and passes through the heart of Denver to the east. It's a quick trip in either direction --five minutes into Denver and about ten minutes to reach the foothills. The neighborhood offers an amazing assortment of fare and definitively non-suburban experiences. My house is in the Barnum subdivision, named for circus magnate PT Barnum who once kept a home in the area (it's just a few blocks away for the curiosity-seekers). Barnum is home to excellent immigrant fare, including nearby regional Mexican restaurants (not Tex-Mex), Vietnamese specialties, and Chinese dim sum shops. You have to try hard to eat bad here. I would be pleased to provide a greatest-hits list of nearby restaurants and some pretty amazing grocery stores for the traveling foodies. Within a four block radius of my house you will find an amazing Mexican Panaderia with an assortment of sweetbreads and breakfasts made-to-order, a Paleteria (Mexican ice cream shop), a convenience store, a library, and a Mi Pueblo market which completes all the specialty ingredients you need to cook your own authentic, regional plates. The market also has an exceptional take-out counter. Guests will be greeted by myself or a caretaker. We'll hand off the keys, orient you to the house and area, and answer any questions you have. The bed will come with clean linens and a set of clean towels. Guests are free to use the kitchen and its utensils freely. For work I spend a lot of time traveling in other people's worlds and enjoy having people share a little of mine. Feel free to connect with me by email with any questions. I look forward to hosting you.

But we actually live in downtown -- surrounded by Denver's historic skyscrapers. Our loft is 1 block away from the historic 16th St. Mall, is located just three blocks from the convention centerand has large windows for a wonderful view of the city. You'll have easy access to major attractions and a beautiful place to stay. My roommate and I travel about once a month with alternating schedules for busines and would love to welcome you into our home. Our apartment is in a historic building and features hardwood floors in the main area and large bay windows for a great downtown view. It's spacious, with vaulted ceilings, and has an Amish fireplace for your enjoyment. You will have access to a large, 300 sq. foot private room with a full-size bed and plenty of natural light, as well as our living room, bathroom and kitchen -- so please make yourself at home. One of us will be around during your stay, but we are each pretty busy during the day. But feel free to ask any questions about our wonderful city, and we will always help you out.
