The SpaceNo smoking, No Marijuana - Non 420, no incense, no candles, and no burning of smoke or fire of any kind. Residential Space is Centalized between Downtown Golden, Red Rocks Amp. Theater (5 minutes drive), Colo. School of Mines (10 min. drive), sheltered in the foothills, & close to Denver via Light Rail Station within walking distance from this Residence. Also there are beautiful views of the Mesas - North and South Table Mesa, and The Boulder Flat Irons. Lookout Mountain and Mother Cabrini Shrine are within 10 minutes drive from residence. Many bike and walking paths as well as trails leading up to Apex Trail. Very Centralized location. Guest AccessGuests have their own private entrance to suite. (No Wheel Chair Accessibility or not for those with limited physical mobility) Upstairs is used by owners only. All necessities are provided to guests (including Wi-Fi) in their private space and sharing of facilities is not required by guests or owners. Mornings: organic coffee/coffee pot in kitchen.
1st nights stay: some fruit and/or pastry is provided. Wi-Fi is also available at nearby barista coffee shop and Book Store - Bean Foster's
(1 block from residence). There is also a climbing gym, bicycle shop across the street from the residence on Heritage Road next to Bean Foster Coffee Shop.
Apt./Suite has back door small patio with great view under deck area, small table & chairs, & lawn. Interaction with GuestsAs Host, I am most always available daily throughout the day for guests if needed. Texting, phone calls, or questions are always welcome. A land line is provided to make (outgoing calls only). Many informational brochures are provided with restaurant information as well as outdoor activity brochures of Golden and the surrounding areas are also provided for your convenience and these can be found on the large desk in the hallway of your suite. You will find many places to visit. As a host, I'm native to Colorado and can assist with questions on location of activities. Please feel free to contact me if you need anything but due to the private nature of unit you will be "on your own" unless you call, text, or communicate your needs to me. The NeighborhoodThis area is great for climbers, hikers, bicyclists, concert-goers, skiing, comedy shows, casinos, or just vacationers. (Snow-mobilers excluded). The quietness yet active lifestyle of the area residents makes this a unique location. Friendliness of the neighborhood as well as the convenience to nearby wi-fi coffee shop (2 city blocks), climbing gym, bike shops, convenience stores/gas stations and grocery stores are (within 2 miles) from residence. The centralized location makes it convenient to get around by bike, light rail, buses, Metro or taxis, or by car. Getting AroundLight rail station is within walking distance from our residence and local buses to Golden and trains to Denver are at the light rail station.
Several bike paths both to downtown Golden as well as mountain biking to Apex trail or neighborhood paths are nearby.
There are three major highways close to the residence: Hwy 6, Hwy C470, Hwy 70. This is a convenience for skiers heading to the ski slopes or snowboarding slopes such as Breakenridge, Loveland or Winter Park, Glenwood Springs (hot springs) during the winter ski season.
Car rentals, & taxis are available upon request and can also be found in local phone book by phone located in your kitchen area.

If you have allergies to plants, fragrances, or any other types you may want to consider another Air B&B. Cancellation policy is strict for this.
No Wheel chair accessibility, or not for those with limited mobility
There is no A/C (Air conditioning) but walkout basement stays cool, fans available. In winter there is central heating, portable heaters and extra blankets.

Wi-Fi is available
We have 2 dogs (friendly pitbulls Staffordshires) who have a private dog run on one side of house away from private entrance for Guests on the opposite side of the house. Dogs are relatively quiet but may bark sometimes when let outside at first or if they hear noises around the home then they are quiet.
Any one with snow shoeing gear, wet backpacks, skis and ski gear on the premises are not allowed to bring them into the unit.
