Very quiet, safe, southwestern, suburban, modern, green accommodation in one of the newest neighborhood suburbs in the Denver metro area. The House We are in Highlands Ranch, a new suburb in the south Denver metro area. Enjoy our common areas: kitchen, great room, TV room, office, old Western-themed back yard, basement with its own home theatre. We are surrounded by 4 parks, 2 golf courses, miles of hiking/biking trails, basketball courts, gym, semi-private neighborhood swimming pools. Guest has full access to: Kitchen: cappuccino maker, drip coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, grill. Laundry: washer, dryer, detergent, softener, bleach, iron, starch Bathrooms: soap, shampoo, conditioner, blow-dryer, flat-iron Technology: WiFi, desktop computers, satellite TV, multiple television sets in the house, premium channels, 2 movie theater systems (one is in the basement for complete privacy). Outdoors: Old West-themed back yard with awning, tables, seating, hammock, trees. We are right next to parks, bike trails, hiking trails, pet off-leash park, open-space. Transportation: On-demand local community bus for close-by connections to public transportation (train, bus). We can also provide you with our private vehicle for an extra fee (4-door Jeep Wrangler Unlimited - modified for off-road use). Interaction with Guests We live in the house, so we will be sharing the common areas (we are discreet, and we do not impose, plus we are away during most weekends). We often -but not everyday- prepare breakfast for everyone, and all material and food are provided if you wish to make your own. The SpaceRent an ensuite guest room in beautiful surroundings. Golf course and hiking right out the door. You will need a car to get around the city. Need the whole 4 bedroom house? Let us see if we can work it out. We both work, but I am off in the summer. Roxborough is a suburban neighborhood in the foothills west and south of Denver (45min). It is about 100 miles to Vail, an hour drive to Colorado Springs. It is a beautiful place to relax. Arrowhead golf course is fantastic! (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) it for a look! You will see wildlife. We have deer, fox, bear, wild turkey, and mountain lions. The hiking is beautiful and right out the door. We can help you with all Denver attractions as well as restaurants. The SpaceWe are part of a non profit child and animal welfare agency and your stay with us directly supports Zuma's Rescue Ranch! The property is great for short hikes, photographers dream and loads of privacy. The room is 600 sq ft with beautiful views from all windows. The SpaceA must see home built by DuPont in 1912 as the managers home. Constructed with great care and attention to detail with a grand living room, incredible old fashion kitchen and one of a kind spacious bedrooms. There is a also a large front and back yard with great view of the front range mountains. The designated open space surrounding the village contributes to a peaceful experience that can include nature walks along the creek, open fields or just around the village. Lots of parking for large groups. Paint Ball is offered just down the road and there are 3 State parks within 20 minutes and for those who like to shop, Castle Rock factory outlet is a short 15 minute drive. Guest AccessLouviers is located 2 miles south of Titan Parkway on Sante-Fe (Hwy 85). Once you turn right into town, you will travel one mile to the top of the hill. There is lots of parking in the back for big vehicles. Lock Box combo provided. Host will greet you upon arrival. Interaction with GuestsNo interaction necessary, except for the friendly hello and good-bye. Party bus available upon request. Plan ahead as an advanced notice is required. Bring your potty trained pets if you need to, however, the yard is not fenced so they must be on a leash when outside. The NeighborhoodVery unique historic village built by DuPont as a company town at the turn of century and is completely surrounded by open space. It's a quiet village that has an historic clubhouse just down the hill that is often used for wedding reception and the first bowling alley in the state which can be rented upon request. Getting AroundNo public transportation, but transportation can be accommodated for and a party bus with a designated driver that seats 15 is available for a night out on the town. The Space1 King, 1 Queen, 1 Full size, 1 Twin and 1 toddler day-bed available. Also, portable crib available upon request as well as extra twin and king size mattresses are available. There are 3.5 baths. Media room in basement with large TV room with surround sound as well as a playroom for the kids. Interaction with GuestsI can be reached on my cell phone for any questions or concerns. The NeighborhoodWe are 1/2 mile from Town Center and Civic Green Park. We also are within walking distance to Foothills Park as well as the numerous other parks in Highlands Ranch. Getting AroundThere is a light rail that takes you to downtown Denver that you can jump on a few miles from our home. The popular attraction Red Rocks Amphitheater is about 25 minutes away. Other Things to NotePlease note that we recently had a dog living in our home.

The SpaceWelcome to Colorado! We would also like to welcome you to our home for a comfy & pleasant stay during your travels while here. We just LOVE the Colorado lifestyle and outdoors - and in fact run a fitness business because we love being active! Here you can hike, bike, ski/board, and you'll have quick access to it all from our location! We hope you'll have the "home away from home" feeling at our place! We live in a three-level townhouse in a quiet, attractive neighborhood. There are three bedrooms in the house, each with their own dedicated bathroom, which are listed separately, so feel please check our other listings! This is room #1 out of the 3 rooms. With Room #1, the patio-level room in the basement, you'll have access to a patio with a small garden right outside your door and can literally walk out onto the patio and then onto a bike/running trail, since we back up to open space. There are two parking spots marked 2585 outside our front door and a little bit to the left (they're not right in front of the house and currently need to be repainted so check the number carefully). Parking is first come, first served since there could be other guests due to the other rooms. If the two spots are taken, you can park in the Guest parking along the fence, to the left of the house. Just a block away you'll find plenty of restaurants, shopping, grocery...just about anything you need! And you can quickly hop on the highway to get you into the mountains, which are less than 30 minutes away. The nearest ski resort is only about 1 hour away. If you like to cook, you'll have access to the kitchen anytime you'd like to make yourself a meal. The bed is a QUEEN. There's also a single XL twin bed that would accommodate a child or your buddy. Tell us what you need to make your stay enjoyable and we'll do our best to accommodate you! Welcome to south Denver! Guest AccessThe kitchen is on the main floor and you'll have access to it whenever you need it. You're welcome to utilize the fridge, stove, kitchen utensils, anything you need. You may also use the combo dining/living room. So, feel free to have meals at the dining table and watch a movie on the sofa. Please be aware that we have two other listings, Rooms #2 and #3 located upstairs and there may be other guests who share the kitchen and also the laundry room, which is on the basement level where your room is located. You do have a lock on your door so you're welcome to lock your room when you're away. Interaction with GuestsWe run a fitness and nutrition business and no longer live in the house ourselves. However, we're happy to interact with you but also, if you prefer privacy, that's totally fine. The lower level where your room is located will be very spacious and quiet. You'll receive a lockbox code for the front door. Be sure to take the key marked with Room #1. The NeighborhoodWe LOVE our neighborhood! Our neighbors are all amazing and we look out for each other. We love that we can walk to restaurants and bike onto the Highline Canal right outside our front door. Getting AroundThere's a bus stop just a short walk outside your door. The C-470 highway is less than 5 minutes away so you can get going to your destination quickly. Denver is about 25 minutes. And the airport is about 35 minutes away. Other Things to NoteWe receive lots of requests for renting long term, so please know that we're happy to have you as our guest for multiple weeks or months. Make sure you read the weekly and monthly pricing info because we give a great discount! :-) Your bedroom will be on the lower level, the dining room and kitchen are on the middle level, and Bedrooms #2 and #3 are upstairs. You'll use a lock box on the front door to get into the house. We will send you the key code upon reserving. Please be sure to take Key #1. We can accommodate one other person on a single bed in your room. Just know that 3 adults may be a bit crowded. The single bed is most suitable for a child or a guy who doesn't want to share the queen bed with his buddy. ;)

The SpaceThis house is peacefully situated on 5 acres perfect for your family getaway with stunningly beautiful views. The house is well maintained and very clean with comfortable mattresses and furniture. The kitchen is very well outfitted with everything you need! Wifi and cable are included. Our back deck has a year round hot tub as well as an outdoor grill and enclosed patio for entertaining. In the summertime, we hope you enjoy our pool and patio. There is also a playhouse for your little ones outback with swings and a slide. We have converted the garage into a game room with a ping pong/pool table and an arcade game. The closest shopping is a 30 minute drive away in either Highlands Ranch or Castle Rock. Denver is an hour drive away and so is Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. You can still see the sites of Colorado, but return to a peaceful getaway at the end of the day. We have a lot of baby and kid gear too. Send us a message to let us know about your group and your visit and feel free to ask any questions you might have about the property or the area. We love to get to know our future guests so that we can make sure you have the best stay possible. Guest AccessWhile you're here, our house is your house! The main house, pool and hot tub area, play house area and decks are exclusively for you and your group's use. The only off limits area is the pool shed because it houses tools and pool cleaning gear. Keep in mind over the summer we have daily watering and pool up-keeping duties. Interaction with GuestsWe live onsite in a cottage house across from the main property about 300 feet away, which gives a great amount of privacy to both homes. We are available for as much or little interaction you would like. We can suggest hiking trails and running paths throughout the subdivision and we can recommend restaurants and shopping in nearby Castle Rock and Littleton/Highlands Ranch area. Our dog Bella, is very friendly and she likes to roam the property, but during your stay we keep her inside our house unless you and your group don't mind her roaming. Bella loves to be near Sallie and the grandkids when they visit, but she is only allowed indoors at our cottage for those concerned with allergies. Getting AroundIn the wintertime it's a good idea to rent an all wheel drive or 4 wheel drive vehicle, we do plow the driveway, but the snow can make it difficult to get up. Other Things to NoteKeep in mind we have daily pool and hot tub maintenance duties as well as landscaping upkeep and watering in the spring and summer. We do as much grounds keeping as we can in between guests, but the property requires a lot of the daily maintenance too.

Downtown Denver is a 40 minute drive away, however it is only a 10 minute drive to the Light Rail with excellent access to downtown and other attractions. The Denver Airport is a 50 minute drive with taxis and car rentals available on site. Vail, Breckenridge, Crested Butte, Aspen, Copper Basin and more are a 1.5 to 2 hour drive away with town car service available. Many casinos are within an hours drive. The house is on a cul-de-sac with plenty of street parking. The space includes a bedroom with a full bed and attached full bath with a shower. It also includes your own, un-shared great room with a couch, love seat, cable TV, a bistro table with two chairs and a bar with four stools. The bar has a small refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven and Keurig coffee maker. Includes cups, plates, bowls and silverware. Towels and linens are included as well as shampoo, conditioner and soap. The house has a solar array on the roof so we utilize the 300 days of Colorado sunshine to help the planet just a little bit. Guest AccessAccess to the entire finished section of the basement plus the flagstone patio and backyard. You are also free to use the main level washer and dryer as needed and if they are not in use. Interaction with GuestsWe will be here throughout your stay. Feel free to stop up and say hello. The NeighborhoodWe are walking distance from three shopping centers with a Target store, grocery store, coffee shops, fast food, fast casual restaurants, sports bars and pubs. There is a movie theater and many other restaurants within a 5-10 minute drive. There are also several area parks including tennis courts and batting cages within walking distance. And there is a trail system throughout the community for walking, jogging or biking. And Roxborough State Park is a short drive for those looking for a hike away from the city and crowds. And let's not forget the Rocky Mountains. Rocky Mountain National Park, ranked third in all National Park visits in 2015 with more visitors than Yellowstone and Yosemite, is 90 miles away. There are many ski resorts within driving distance including Winter Park (75 miles) Breckenridge (90 miles) and Vail (100 miles) plus many more. Getting AroundThere is a local bus stop a block away that connects to a light-rail line for access to Denver and the surrounding area. The line also connects to Denver International Airport via downtown Denver for $9 per person. Uber and Lyft operate in the area with cars usually just a few minutes away. And there are several rental car companies close by. Other Things to NoteWe do have an older "tri-pawed" dog and puppy that do NOT have access to the basement area. The Space5,000 sq ft house at the end of a cul de sac complete with a large backyard. You will have access to 3 bedrooms on the 2nd floor (1 ensuite) and 2 in the basement. Large open area in the basement complete with table tennis and home cinema area. The space is big enough for a couple of families to stay in. The SpaceThe kitchen is fairly well stocked with pots, pans, plates, utensils, spices, appliances (toaster, ninja blender, hand vacuum are in the lower cabinets near the refrigerator). There are 2 canisters with protein powder on the counter - help yourself. You'll find the guest bathroom is well stocked if you forgot anything. Additional towels can also be found in the guest bathroom cabinet. The iron, ironing board and cleaning supplies (should you need them) are in the laundry room. A broom and vacuum are in the front hall closet. We use a Roomba for the upstairs. Currently it is set to run at noon on Monday and it usually runs for about 90 minutes. The NeighborhoodThe community is called The Brownstones. It's a quiet townhouse community with a nice 'Georgetown' feel to it. Okay, it's only 10 years old, not 250, but you get the point :-). Getting AroundThere's an RTD bus station less than a 1/2 mile away that will take you to the Light Rail or you can drive about 2.5 miles to get to the Mineral Light Rail station. Other Things to NotePLEASE NOTE: We have 2 cats (Dexter is gray, Pootsy is black and white) that will be in the house during your stay. The litter boxes will be clean. However, we ask our guests to fill the food bowls twice a day (found in the basement storage area). Dexter is far more social (read: will want to sleep with you and will paw the door until you let him in). If this becomes a problem then you can close him in the basement at night. Pootsy's primary quirk is to yell from the bottom of the stairs around 9:00 pm. She's usually brought something from the basement to show you and she wants you to come see. She'll stop after a couple attempts if you ignore her. Dexter does spend time outside but please keep him in for safety sake. Both cats are current on all vaccinations as of 12/19/2015. The TV in the master bedroom has it's own quirk. You must turn it on and off and then on again slowly. We don't understand why this happens but we've gotten used to it.

The SpaceOur space includes a one bedroom in a walkout basement with a king size bed and a view of the mountains and the historic Highlands Ranch out the bedroom window. It has a little kitchenette/bar area with a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The space also includes a dining area and a rec area with a sectional, TV and pool table. The bath has a walk-in shower. This space is very private and has its own deck. There is a hot tub as well on the middle level deck (one of three decks) with a water feature and wood burning fireplace.

The type of place where you'd let your kids ride bikes up and down with no concerns:) End of the street is a middle school that has a big play field, basketball courts, and nice tennis courts. If that's not enough there's a large park right next to that with baseball and soccer fields, and a fun playground with a picnic pavilion. A trail system (Lee Gulch Trail) runs through the middle of the park, so if you need to get your run, walk, bike on there's plenty of miles to keep you busy. Getting AroundThe neighborhood is situated in a great location. There's only a few light rail train lines that take you directly downtown. We're just less than 3 miles or 3-5 minutes to the Mineral Station. Easy access to a highway to take you towards the mountains (15 min) or DTC business area (15 min). If not interested in the train to downtown, driving is only 30 min.
