Zip down the mountain to downtown steamboat for art, dinner or hot springs. This condo is privately owned and managed. We have enjoyed making anniversaries and engagement weekends special for many of our guests. Most of our guests love the outdoors and want a clean, modern and efficient place to chill at the end of the day with quiet views. Staying away from the other condos but in the perfect location is a nice perk too! This cute little condo is a modern, clean and remodeled. Located in a small complex that is perched above the other condos. You will be set up with efficient and comfortable furniture and kitchen supplies. Sheets, towels, pillows and beds are fresh and clean. The view from this main floor corner unit are AMAZING and because it sits above the many other condos, you have a view of the mountains and NOT another condo. You'll never see the same sunrise or sunset. Unique features of this condo: *Roku for many options of online TV watching *Free, FAST and secure wi-fi *Separate bedroom with closet and full sized bed. *On-site laundry Efficient and versatile features include: *2 large twin sized euro-designed chairs/beds in living area. While we aren't there to greet you or cook for you, we are always prompt to respond to you. We love hosting and hearing from you but won't bug you:) Please contact us with any questions. We look forward to hearing from you. Please note... NO smoking and no pets. We charge full deposit for smoking and pets. Guest AccessOur little condo (about 300 square feet) is all yours! The corner unit on the first floor allows you to access the condo without climbing stairs while enjoying amazing views. Just outside the condo is a grassy lawn where you can bring the outdoor chairs we provide and relax while enjoying the views. Interaction with GuestsWe provide you with a code for entry and you have a completely independent weekend. We don't take up your time except we'd like a text at check in and check out. But... we are always just a call text or message away and would love to give you ideas for entertainment or food options and to answer questions. The NeighborhoodWe are on a quite street that is surrounded by single family residents and is very, very quiet! Our building is quiet with just 24 units. This building was one of the first living quarters for the employees of the mountain and we enjoy the history that we hear around town about our place! Other Things to NoteWe mention that we would allow 3 guests in the condo and that is because we want to be available for families with children or friends that would prefer not to share a bed. Because we offer the beds in the common space, it allows us to be more accommodating to special needs of our guests. We will discuss this with you before you book. The condo actually sleeps 4, but not 4 adults:)

The SpaceThe location is what makes our condo unique - easy access to everything. The bus stops at the end of the driveway and comes every 10 minutes with service to the mountain and to downtown (5-7 minutes in either direction). We love to cook, and have equipped our kitchen accordingly. It includes a dishwasher, electric stove/oven, microwave, garbage disposal, crock pot, full set of pots and pans, baking pans/measuring spoons, a programmable coffee pot, mixer, and toaster. The living room includes vaulted ceilings, a 47 inch HDTV with a DVR, a gas fireplace, and a door to the deck with a spectacular view of the mountain. It opens to the kitchen over an open bar. The bar seats four, and the dining table seats six. There is a propane gas grill on the deck for all your grilling needs. The master bedroom has a king size bed, attached bathroom (shower/tub), and walk-in closet. There is a TV with cable access and a DVD player in the master bedroom. The 2nd bedroom has two bunk beds with twin 8 inch mattresses on top and full 10 inch pillow-top mattresses on the bottom. The loft (directly above the kitchen) has a queen bed and dresser set. Linens are provided including 500+ thread count sheets for your comfort. The second bathroom has a tub/shower. Each bathroom has a hairdryer for your convenience, as well as bar soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Extra towels are stored in the hallway linen closet. The laundry room has a washer and drier, ironing board and iron, and two humidifiers for use in the bedrooms. Please enjoy the complimentary laundry soap! Skis/boards can be stored in the front foyer or in the private storage unit across the landing from the front door. Two community hot tubs are available directly behind the building (open November - April, 1 pm - 10 pm). Plenty of free parking available! Our condo is located two blocks from the Core Trail, a 7.5 mile paved, flat trail that runs from Mt. Werner Street to beyond downtown. Bikes are available for rent from the Ski Haus, located on the other side of the condominium complex. Our guests receive a 10% discount on bike rentals, and 15% discount on ski/board/equipment rentals. The Core Trail goes past/through several parks and picnic areas, the botanical gardens, and the Bud Werner Memorial library. (sidenote: it is perhaps the most beautiful library I have ever been in, and a godsend for families with children. They offer a guest library card that allows you to check out 8 items at a time. There is also a return box in Central Park Square in front of La Fiesta for your convenience.) Guest AccessTwo community hot tubs are directly behind our building. PLEASE NOTE: They are ONLY open during ski season, November - April. They are closed May - October. Interaction with GuestsWe provide as much or as little interaction with our guests as they would like. We are always available for questions, and a property manager is in town for more urgent needs. We communicate by phone, text, and email. The NeighborhoodWe love the easy access to skiing and the bike trail. The proximity to groceries cannot be beat. You do not need a car, but there is plenty of parking if you do have one. Please note ours is a quiet complex, with many year-round residents. Perfect for napping kids, or getting to sleep early enough to hit the slopes for first tracks! Getting AroundThe free city bus stops at the end of our driveway. Minutes (1 mile) from both the mountain and downtown. Shuttle service is available from either the Denver (3 hrs) or Hayden (20 min) airport. We use and recommend (URL HIDDEN) - they have both private and shared ride service available. Other Things to NoteAfter skiing at numerous resorts in North America and Europe, we came to Steamboat in 2012 with our two children. The snow was like nothing we had experienced elsewhere, and the family-friendly atmosphere hooked us. We started looking for property in 2013, and jumped at the chance to own at The Pines. We named it 'Uller Haus' after Uller (Ullr) the Norse god of winter, who is also rumored to be an amazing skier. We hope you love it as much as we do!

Could not ask for anything more!!! Guest Rhoads Date of stay 05/02/13 Review Submitted 05/06/13 Our family (9 Total with Grandma) decided last minute to take a long weekend and get away. We wanted a place close to town, but away enough so we could have breathing room and space for the kids to run free, take walks and relax. This home was beyond our greatest expectations. The space was perfect! We had two families meeting there and wanted a large communal space as well as private spaces. The layout was perfect. It has a very spacious LR and DR just off the beautiful Kitchen with views that go on for miles. The basement is fully furnished with 3 bedrooms and smaller seating area for kids to play games etc. Two more bedrooms upstairs including a huge private loft space. Once we all settled in and unpacked the kids immediately ran outside and left their iPads behind. We walked to the neighbors horses and let the kids pet them. We were able to watch them easily from the huge front deck overlooking miles of mountains and fields. Lots of wildlife everywhere! At night we settled in, watch a movie on the huge TV after relaxing in the hot tub. Next day we ventured out to the Waterfall and Natural Hot Springs.. A MUST DO! The next day, the moms, grammy and girls went horseback riding about 20 minutes away for two hours later that afternoon thanks to the suggestion of our Hosts! Our last day we toured around town, went shopping and ate BBQ along the river, and checked out the ski area on our way out. We will be back every year if we can! Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway. Other Things to NotePET FEE $50 per dog(URL HIDDEN) Maximum 3. Owner needs to approve all pets. They must be other animal and people friendly. Not allowed on furniture or beds.

The SpaceMy room is behind the main house with a separate entrance. It feels like your own space. I made it very personal. Guest AccessBesides a clean and comfortable room, we are a destination resort. There are our famous Hot Springs and Ski Area, but Steamboat can offer the best of both, small town feel and big town food, spas, art, museums and free transportation. Interaction with GuestsI have found my calling helping people find their way around town for adventure and good places to eat. My rental room was originally my art studio, built after the main house. I try to greet everyone, but if I am at work, I can leave keys so no one is waiting to "check in". I try to give everyone privacy. That makes my room stand out from having to walk thru someones house to get to your room. It is a special place for someone to rent and feel like it is your own place. The NeighborhoodI love being in the "old town" part of Steamboat where there are great places to eat. Being downtown gives you great access to the core trail for walking or biking. A 5 min. drive to the main grocery stores and just a few min. more and you are at Mt. Werner! Getting AroundSteamboat Springs Transit is the free bus in town. We also have Alpine Taxi and there now are 2 shuttles that will drive you to the Strawberry Park Hot Springs (15 min away). Other Things to NoteA nice bottle of wine and custom stationary in room. Small fridge will hold food for a quick snack before hitting the slopes or those numerous bike trails around Steamboat. The price of the room includes the cost of City, State and Lodging TAXES. Wireless internet access in room.

The SpaceThe space is nice and private in a quiet neighborhood just outside of Steamboat Springs and a short walk to the Yampa River. The kitchen is nicely appointed with granite counters and a gas range/oven. The bathroom has a large jetted tub plenty big enough for 2 and rainhead shower. We strive to make the space as comfortable and cozy as possible. Guest AccessYou should have everything you need including a full kitchen and washer/dryer. In the summer enjoy a large deck right outside your door and fire pit in the back yard. Interaction with GuestsWe are fairly busy folks so you will probably not see us much but we are definitely available if you have questions or need recommendations. We have some extra snowboarding gear, river gear, bikes and lots of kids toys that we are happy to lend our guests to have some fun! The NeighborhoodWe live in the tiny little town of Milner just outside of the hustle and bustle of Steamboat but only 11 miles from downtown. If you blink you could miss it.. we don't even have a stoplight. We do have a bar & grill called Spoke and Spur a short walk from the house which is a good place to grab a bite or a drink and play a game of pool with some locals. Saddleback Ranch is only 3 miles down the road with many fun summer and winter activities like snow tubing, snowmobiling, sleigh rides, horseback riding and ATV tours! Getting AroundOnce in Steamboat there is a free bus that runs every 20 minutes or so. From Milner the bus goes to Steamboat once in the morning and returns at the end of the day. Other Things to NoteYou may notice in the reviews that the staircase of the rental apartment used to be exterior... Good news - it is now a fully enclosed, heated, carpeted interior staircase with an entryway in addition for your comfort and enjoyment! No more going outside to get downstairs to the potty :) Feel free to call, text or email if you have any questions at all.

The SpaceI take pride in my home and appreciate a clean and comfortable space. My house is warm, cozy and quiet. Myself, My roommate Katie, Koda & Bella (Dogs) and Cobi (The cat) all live there full time. We work hard and play hard, both have multiple jobs and are usually there or ripping some powder on the mountain. You have full access to the kitchen , living room and laundry facilities. Please feel free to make yourself at home and cook a meal, watch a movie, sit by the fire and read a book or go out for a night on the town. We are easy going girls and enjoy the company of cool people. Your room is private and quiet. Your bathroom is next to your room and will be used by Katie just to shower. We keep the pets out of your room so that it stays clean unless of course you want some snuggles. Your room comes equip with a queen sized bed, clean bedding, bath towels and some toiletries. Guest AccessGuests have access to common living areas in the house, laundry facilities, free parking, hot tub, free bus that runs all over town from 6:00am to 2:00am daily. Interaction with GuestsI'll interact with my guests as much as I can, I'm very busy with work so I can't guarantee a ton of time, but would love to give you tips on where to ski, dine and have some fun. The NeighborhoodMy neighborhood is super safe, in fact most people do not lock their doors or cars. Its right on the free bus route which is super convenient if you want to ride to the ski area base or downtown, much easier than driving in the snow. You can walk to the ski in 15 minutes from my house as well. There is lots of free parking and all the neighbors are really nice. Getting AroundWe have a free bus line that stops outside my house every 20 minutes from 6:00am to 2:00am daily in the winter. 6:00am to 10:30pm in the summer. There are walking paths all over if you want to take a little stroll or rent a bike. 970-879-TAXI is our local taxi company and it probably cost about $10 to get downtown. If I'm around and heading out I'm happy to give you a ride. Other Things to NoteWe do have 2 dogs and a cat. The cat's name is Cobi, she is 8 years old and will snuggle the heck out of you. She loves everyone and is the queen of the house. She is free to go in and out of the house as she pleases so don't worry if she gets out, she'll come back. Koda is the puppy, if we are not home he goes in the doggie crate. If you are home and we are not you are welcome to let him out and play with him, but don't feel obligated. Bella is the sweetest dog you will ever meet, she will probably lick your face as soon as you come in. She's fine just lounging around the house when we are gone.

The SpaceThe highlights: - Private hot tub with gondola views - Less than 1 mile to the mountain - Free bus stop at the entrance to the complex - Mountain views from living room and patio - Hardwood floors and radiant in-floor heat - Attached heated garage The details: This is our primary home, which we occasionally rent while we are away. We will lock off our bedroom, and you will have access to the rest of the place. Our home is located in a small townhome complex (only 8 units total). Ours is an end unit, the furthest away from the road and adjacent to a city trail. The living area has large windows providing lots of sunlight, and a super comfortable down-filled couch. (Not one of those old, lumpy ones found in so many rentals!) There's also a leather recliner and another arm chair. The 55" TV has cable (including HBO). The kitchen has granite counters, stainless steel appliances and a gas stove. It is well stocked with equipment, as we like to cook. You'll find decent knives, cookware, etc. There's also a food processor, blender, panini press, and other useful gadgets. The dining table comfortably seats four. There are also 3 leather swivel bar stools to keep the cook company in the kitchen. A door opens up to a covered patio with a table, 4 chairs and great mountain views. The patio faces east so it get sun in the morning and shade in the afternoon. The large guest bedroom has a king size bed with a memory foam mattress. It has a walk-in closet along with plenty of drawer space. The attached bathroom has a large vanity and a shower. There are an additional two twin beds on the 3rd floor. There is also an additional full bathroom. Please note that while this space is private, it does not have a door and may not be suitable for young children due to the stairs. The hot tub is located just steps from the side door. You can see the last skiers of the day coming down Valley View while you enjoy a soak. There is a punch code to open the garage door. (No need to carry keys around the mountain with you!) The garage is heated and has plenty of storage space for skis, etc. It is a 2-car garage, but often we will leave one of our cars in the garage while we are away, leaving one spot for you. Guest AccessGuests will have access to the entire condo with the exception of our bedroom which will be locked off during your stay. Interaction with GuestsWe will not be present during your stay, but will be available via phone or text for any questions or issues that may arise. The NeighborhoodOur townhome is one mile from the base of the mountain. Located in a quiet neighborhood, one of the last townhome developments before the neighborhood changes to single family homes. Great for evening walks. Getting AroundTo go skiing - just hop on the free bus at the end of the drive. It's a 10 minute ride to the mountain. The bus will then continue downtown as well. In the summer, it is a 3 mile bike ride downtown on the Yampa River Core Trail. Parking for one car in the heated garage, and one additional car outside. Other Things to NoteWe live here full time and rent the place occasionally while we are away. Our bedroom will be locked off, and you will have access to the rest of the place.
