The SpaceWelcome to our tranquil, sunny, sweet spot in the beautiful Eldorado Springs Valley, just minutes south of Boulder. Gorgeous views and nature surround you, from horses in the pasture next door to the local wildlife, such as deer, fox, and owl. This special place has its own unique character and all the comforts of home. It is private and very quiet at night. You can see the stars. The 400 square foot abode has a kitchen with a lovely view, a small gas stove/oven, fridge, microwave, and other kitchen essentials. The bedroom has a queen pillow top bed, dresser, cable TV, DVD player, and a large picture window with a beautiful view from the bed. The bathroom is new construction and quite spacious for a small space. A living room area has a comfy couch and a small desk. Wireless internet access, with a small patio and parking right in front. Note that the wifi is spotty. It works best in the front; please let us know if you need some help getting online during your stay. We also have other listings on the property, the Awesome Reinvented Blacksmith Shop (it's in the same building but does not share a wall with the abode), the Eldorado Valley Artist Cabin and the Sunny Eldorado Retreat. It's a fun, relaxed place to stay. A fantastic trail system is about a mile away, heading west on Eldorado Springs Drive, which you can drive or walk to. Enjoy hiking, running, mountain biking, cross country skiing and snowshoeing, depending on the season. Two miles down the road from here is Eldorado Canyon, which features Eldorado State Park where hiking, world class rock climbing and scenic vistas happen. Also located in the canyon is the Eldorado Springs Pool, a wonderful artesian spring fed pool, so refreshing and fun in the summertime. Downtown Boulder seems a world away, although it is actually a 10 minute drive. There are bike paths all the way into town. Food shopping is close; King Soopers and Lucky's are about five minutes away. Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, and many other markets are also a short drive into town. At our intersection, a mile away, is the Eldorado Corner Market which includes a gas station/convenience store and a liquor store. We are both artists and our home and studio are on the property. Feel free to come by anytime during your stay to chat and visit. We know a lot about the area and can help with ideas about things to do. We'd love to have you as our guests! The SpaceLocated on our property in the historic Eldorado Springs Valley is an authentic 19th century blacksmith shop which we have remodeled it into a unique getaway. Just minutes south of Boulder, you will find gorgeous views and nature surrounding you, from horses in the pasture next door to the local wildlife, such as deer, fox, and owl. This special place has its own unique character and all the comforts of home. It is private, spacious (675 sq. ft.) and very quiet at night. You can see the stars. The bedroom has a picture window with a stunning view, queen pillow top bed, and a beautiful sliding barn door. The entire place is recent construction that I continue to add to and embellish with art and color. There are two living areas, one by the entrance and another next to the kitchen. There is a full size Ikea sleeper sofa in the front living area next to the bedroom. There is also a black click clack couch which folds into a bed, good for one adult or two children. Other amenities include a skylight, kitchen with all the essentials, TV and DVD player, internet access, and a small patio area and parking right in front. Note that the wifi is spotty at times due to the distance between the router and the blacksmith shop. Please let us know if you need help getting online while you're staying here. The natural light inside is beautiful. (Please note that the ceiling does slant in the kitchen area to the driveway side and people of taller stature, around 6'3 and up may have to duck a little). A fantastic trail system is about a mile away, heading west on Eldorado Springs Drive, which you can drive or walk to. The 350 square foot artist cabin has a kitchen with a lovely view, gas stove/oven, fridge, microwave, and other kitchen essentials. The bedroom has a queen pillow top bed, dresser, closet, skylight, ceiling fan, and large windows. There is a tub/shower combo in the bathroom. The living room area has a comfortable, full size sleeper sofa, full kitchen, three skylights, ceiling fans and lots of light. The wall heater keeps the place toasty warm in the winter, and the ceiling fans keep things cool in the summer. There's wireless internet access, a hand built brick patio and parking right near the front. The wifi can be spotty, so let us know so we can help with that while you're here. The artist cabin was built as an addition to our art studio. There isn't a space between the walls; it has its own wall and is its own private space. We do ceramics, painting, drawing in the studio during the day and early evening. We are quiet and respectful of our guests. We also have three other listings on the property, the Awesome Reinvented Blacksmith Shop, the Sunny Eldorado Retreat and the Enchanting Eldorado Valley Abode. It's a fun, relaxed place to stay. The SpaceThis log home is 1/2 mile from hiking and mountain biking trailheads. Rock climbing at Eldorado Canyon is only two miles away. The view of the Boulder Flatirons is breathtaking. You will be comfortable in a room at the opposite end of the house from me, so noise is not an issue. You have a private bathroom unless I have friends in town. Sheets are line-dried, and I clean with non-toxic products! I am an eco-friendly place with tasty well water, composting, and recycling. Guest AccessYour room is cozy, and the deck outside the living room is a great place to enjoy the view. Interaction with GuestsWhen I am around, I'm happy to provide recommendations for all things outside, what's available in town and on the greater front range. The NeighborhoodThere are 38 homes on the block--all are on one acre. Neighbors are friendly, and the creek helps you fall asleep! Sometimes you can hear the coyotes too! There is a small market 1 mile from the house, and two brew pubs (Southern Sun and Under the Sun), a great breakfast place (Southside), coffee shop (Cafe Sole), mountaineering shop (Neptunes) Getting AroundPublic transportation is 3.5 miles from the house, so having your own transportation is advisable. Other Things to NoteBella, the dog, will welcome you when you come in, and she might steal your heart.

The 750 square foot retreat is a completely separate apartment that's attached to our home. It has a kitchen with a gas stove/oven, fridge, microwave and other kitchen essentials (the dishwasher is not functional; not enough dishes to fill it). The bedroom has a queen bed, dresser, two closets and a large picture window with a beautiful view. The bathroom has a steam shower, perfect in the winter or to relax sore muscles. An open concept kitchen and living room area has a couch, farm style kitchen table, cable TV, wireless internet access, with a spacious patio area and parking right in front. A new, comfy, queen size folding foam mattress is available for extra guests. Susan's paintings and Tom's ceramics decorate the space. We also have other listings on the property, the Enchanting Eldorado Valley Abode, the Awesome Reinvented Blacksmith Shop and the Eldorado Valley Artist Cabin. It's a fun, relaxed place to stay. Fitting up to 7 guests, the path outside our door is a bike-ride away from historic DT Louisville coffee shops, eateries, dog parks and more outdoor fun! Welcome to our comfortable, relaxing home stocked full of all your essential necessitates - from toiletries and cooking staples to fleece throw blankets and down comforters, our home will truly feel like yours. The master bedroom features a cozy king bed, bathroom with tub shower and separate sink and vanity space. Our guest room includes a queen size bed and full bathroom with standing shower. We also have three single aero beds available for sleeping! Thinking you'll need to do laundry? No problem, we have a full washer and dryer available for use in the apartment. Our new, comfortable sectional couch in the living room includes a chaise for multiple people to enjoy a relaxing movie on our flat screen TV. Enjoy HBO and Showtime included within our (unfortunately limited) cable channels, or, even better, take advantage of the Apple TV with Netflix, HBO Go, music and many other app options! The SpaceOur basement is comfortably furnished and has a wide screen TV and built-in gas fireplace, and a bar with refrigerator. We have a pool table and air-hockey for fun, too. The walkout basement opens to our backyard and open space beyond. Only 15 minutes from Boulder and University of Colorado campus. Guest AccessAccess is through the main house, front door which has a combination lock on it. We'll share our space with you, including access to the gourmet kitchen, if you desire.     The SpaceSituated on 4 acre property. Access to open space right next to property. Landscaping is in progress. This spot has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen has a full size microwave, a large toaster oven with a convection setting, mini fridge with freezer (this is a dorm style and small, but large enough for essentials), coffeemaker, and electric kettle. There are plenty of dishes, cutlery, and etc. for creating nice meals to enjoy in the dining area. The kitchenette and dining area are small and there is not a living room. The bedrooms are large and well appointed with a seating area in each room, large closet space, windows provide light but blinds will give a dark sleeping environment. You will have a fully furnished room with sheets and towels and access to the entire apartment. All you would need to bring is yourself and your clothes. There are two males in their mid-twenties who live in the apartment. They're great guys! There is also an older cat. It's a great apartment complex with plenty of amenities and free parking. Getting AroundThe apartment is a mile from the bus station with easy access to Denver or Boulder. There is also a recently completed bike path from Denver to Boulder that you can access near the complex.

The abnb bedroom on the first floor is large and filled with natural light, with queen bed, two desks, keurig machine, mini fridge and walk-in closet. Iron and ironing board available. The house has solar panels and geothermal so heating and cooling the space to your personal comfort zone will not be an issue. Guest AccessThe guest bedroom and bathroom is on the private 1st floor walkout level (the owner's kitchen, living area and master bedroom are on the upper level, allowing privacy for guests on the 1st floor). Guests will have exclusive use of the adjacent rec room with flat screen TV and elliptical machine. All outdoor spaces, including patio with dining table, gas grill, fireplace and water feature, are available for guest use. Interaction with GuestsWe work nearby during the week but will be available by cell phone during this time. Feel free to ask if you need anything at all. The NeighborhoodWe are just a short mile from Whole Foods, Costo and Super Target. There are many restaurants and dining options within 1-2 miles in nearby Louisville and Superior. S. Boulder is 7 minutes by car; CU and downtown Boulder are 10-15 minutes; downtown Denver is 25 minutes. We are surrounded by Boulder County open space and have a trail head for hiking and mountain biking 1/4 mile from the house. This trail goes 5 miles to the west (to Eldorado Springs) and hooks up with numerous other biking trails. We have two mountain bikes available for guest use. Getting AroundWe are 1 mile from the Superior park 'n ride, including bus to downtown Denver and DIA. Other Things to NoteThere is a single bedroom with a twin bed adjacent to the abnb bedroom which is suitable for a well-behaved child over 10 years for an extra charge of $45 per night. We have an 11 year old Alaskan Malamute who lives outside primarily and does not go into the abnb bedroom, but if you are highly allergic to dogs, you may want to choose another lodging option.

      Our lovely 1200 sf garden level apartment has spectacular views of Boulder and the Rocky Mountain Continental divide. The open feel of the living, dining and full kitchen rooms that bring the outdoors in, are a compliment to the large bedrooms. No stairs at the entry, a one level layout and wide doorways lend itself to being wheelchair accessible, but counter/sink heights are not ADA compliant. It is totally private with its own entrance, off street parking, heating, AC system, Wifi, phone, full size laundry, BBQ, outside table/chairs with view of Boulder and the Rockies. We have lived in Colorado most of our lives and are very willing to share with you information on points of interest in and around Boulder and Colorado.
