The SpaceVery pleasant room upstairs with a private 3/4 bathroom and lovely queen sized bed. This room is off the kitchen, adjacent to the side patio entry. A large west window overlooks the yard. No discreet entrance, but the room itself has plenty of privacy. Inviting, artistic space inside and outside the house. Patios on two sides for relaxing and enjoying my park-like yard. No smoking in the house but outside is acceptable. Off street parking. Lovely older neighborhood, excellent location; minutes from downtown and the foothills, a few blocks from RTD bus stop and the W light rail. Near major shopping, restaurants, grocery and cultural venues: Belmar, Lodo, Highlands, Golden, NREL, Downtown. Great for a business trip, visit to several nearby colleges, or Colorado sightseeing year round. I have hosted guests from around the world in my home! Guest AccessAccess to the main kitchen, patios, living room if you like and the yard. There is space in the frig and freezer for food; some in the garage frig, too. Parking is in the driveway or in front of my house.WiFi available. Interaction with GuestsI interact as much as folks like. Getting AroundThis is an ideal location with RTD two blocks away, LightRail system 5 blocks away to downtown or malls, and daily shopping within walking distance of home. Also, the Open Space nearby is a great escape to mountain views and walking trails in the middle of the city. It's a special feature of this neighborhood. Close to two rec centers and several parks. Other Things to NoteI ask that guests not invite others without discussing plans ahead. No overnight guests or late night socializing. This room is for one guest unless there is a prior arrangement.

The Space****This has a convenient 2 Car Garage!***** This one level home has 3 bedrooms and one bathroom. It also has a 2 car garage which is popular for winter travelers. The Master bedroom is a suite and separate from the other 2 bedrooms. All beds include extra soft linens and bedding. One of my favorite features; the bathroom has a window in the shower that opens to the Colorado sunshine. You'll feel like you are taking a shower outdoors but with more privacy!. It's always nice to have the window open to the birds singing and sun shining while in the shower. The kitchen comes fully stocked to meet your every cooking need. The home includes all cable/internet and wifi needs. This house has a great layout and is perfect for just spreading out and relaxing after a long day in the city or the mountains. Its a mini garden in the city! hurry The fruit trees are ready for picking and the vegetable garden is at its peak!! There;s plenty of grocery/shopping within a mile so it's an easy walk most anywhere. From the Wal-mart, Grocery, Sams Club and Costco just minutes away, you will not have trouble finding what you need. This home is minutes away from the famous Lakeside Park and amusement Park. It's history goes back for more than 50 years and is known for the lavish flower gardens throughout the park,. Also, I-70 is an easy 60 second access that gets you easily to the mountains, Central City, Downtown and DIA,. This home is located just outside of the fast paced city life without all the traffic and congestion. It's easy access to the highway helps you get anywhere fast while still enjoying the slower paced area of Wheat Ridge. Guest AccessThe entire property is available. Interaction with GuestsI always do a meet and greet when guests arrive if possible. After that there doesn't need to be any further communication unless there are questions about my home. The SpaceLike you, I love traveling and meeting people. I have a cozy 4 bedroom home, 5 minutes from Interstate 70 & the mountains, 1 hour to skiing, 10 minutes from downtown Denver, and a 5 minute walk to Light Rail or the busline. Our home is in a safe, quiet neighborhood near a lake with walking & bicycle paths and awesome mountain views! We have a sunny front porch with a comfy chair for reading and a huge back yard with lots of trees. My home is a non-smoking home, including marajuna. My 3 bedroom home includes two private rooms with single beds, and another room with a double bed. The beds are comfy, private shower is warm, internet available, and you are welcome to do laundry. I am a Colorado Native and can direct you to great places to see & fun things to do. I love meeting new people and have been blessed by so many folks when I've been traveling - I would like to return the favor and welcome you into our home; myself and my lovable dog.

The SpaceThis is located on a historic property behind the main house. This is just a guest house (there is no kitchen). There is another building just up from the cabin, which has a small refrigerator, toaster oven, microwave and coffee pot, dining table, sitting area with couch and easy chair. This is added when two weeks or more is reserved. If you are staying short-term and want to add it, you may do so for an additional $25 per night. Guest AccessIf you would like television with an extra sitting room, please inquire! Interaction with GuestsThe property is quite peaceful and secluded. You can come and go as you please with little or no interaction the the homeowner. We certainly welcome any interaction! The NeighborhoodThis home is only two blocks from town center, which is where many festive and fun things happen! The town of Wheat Ridge is always coming up with creative ways to bring their community together. You can walk to one of many restaurants, coffee, grocery, shopping, etc. Two block down is Right Coast Pizza, a very popular, local establishment who focuses on all thing Colorado. Getting AroundThere is a main bus line several blocks from the house. There are also a lot of great places to ride your bike. Other Things to NoteLots to walk to in this neighborhood! Many restaurants (3 breakfast places!), coffee, grocery, nail salon, flower shop, ice cream, scooter rental, cycle shop........

The SpaceThe bedroom has a full size bed. Two people can share if they know each other really well ;o) Its a 2 bathroom house. Your bathroom is not attached to your bedroom but it is primarily yours! For additional fee, you can also book a massage($55/hr) or use of hot tub ($10/person/hour) Guest AccessYou can hang out anywhere in the house. Backyard patio is available for your use. Smoking is ok as long as it is OUTSIDE. If you need to use the washer / dryer occasionally that is fine. Kitchen is available for basic cooking needs. Fridge / cupboard space can be arranged. Interaction with GuestsI work from home so I am around most of the time. I'm friendly and helpful and happy to give advice about the local scene but I won't hang out and chat for too long. My home is my office - I have work to do ;o) My son has been told to 'leave the guests alone' so he won't bother you much. ;o) The NeighborhoodSemi rural feel while just 20 minutes to downtown Denver. Views of the foothills from the front yard and on a clear day you can see Pikes Peak from the end of the driveway! Wonderful coffee shops and restaurants are nearby too. Getting AroundWe are 1/4 mile from Oak Street and Garrison Street Light Rail Stations - we're just about midway between the two. Major Bus routes are available a similar distance / short walk away. Commercial taxis, Lyft and Uber available. I have space for you to park a rental car too. Other Things to NoteWe have a cat - if you are allergic, this may not be the best place for you. I have an autistic son - he's 14 years old, non-verbal but sociable. He is out a lot but if you are really uncomfortable around people with special needs, this might not be a good fit.

The SpaceYou will enjoy our 1950s updated ranch. With over 2200 square feet of living space on 2 levels, there is plenty of space to spread out. We have everything you need to be comfortable! Towels, shampoo, soap, coffee pot, iron, stocked kitchen, etc. If you need it, chances are we've got it...in addition to a jetted tub, perfect after a day on the mountain or adventuring around town! Our home has 3 bedrooms with a king bed and 2 queens, as well as a twin daybed on the 3 season porch (probably not available Nov-May). There is plenty of space for an airmatress or sleeping bags. Guest AccessGuests will have access to the entire home and fenced in backyard. Driveway and street parking are available. We have a dog door leading to the fenced yard. Dogs are negotiable (Additional fees may apply. Please contact us to discuss details). No cats allowed. Interaction with GuestsWe will have very little interaction with guests as we will most likely be enjoying a vacation away from home. We will do our best to be here upon check-in or will send you directions for the lockbox prior to check-in. While we may not be present, we will be available via text, phone and email. The NeighborhoodOur house is in a quiet neighborhood in Wheat Ridge, a suburb just west of Denver's best neighborhoods - the Highlands, Berkeley, and Sloans Lake! But don't let this sleepy little suburb fool you! We've got some great secrets of our own...Colorado Plus Brewpub, Right Coast Pizza, Clancy's Irish Pub, West 29th Restaurant, Twisted Smoothie, Brewery Rickoli, and more, are all within a mile. Getting AroundEasy access to I-70 for trips to the mountains or the airport. Numerous bus stops within 2-6 blocks. Light rail station is less than 2 miles north and south. Ample street and driveway parking on quiet and safe street. Other Things to NoteWe have 2 beach cruiser bikes that may be available for use. Our 4 chickens lay about 1 egg each per day...help yourself! We can talk you through collecting the eggs. It's very easy and they are delicious! This will not be available during winter as their laying stops or significantly slows down.

However, for you true urbanites, we’re located within a 15 minute walk from Garrison Street (W line) lightrail station. The SpaceYou’re going to love visiting this house year ‘round. It has a beautiful updated kitchen with a large 5-burner gas stove, double oven, and concrete counter tops. There are hardwood floors throughout, and a retro mid-mod bathroom. Two of the bedrooms have queen-size beds, and the back bedroom has two twin-size beds. The house has a covered back porch and patio area with a cozy back yard and a beautiful perennial garden in the front. Pick your own fresh raspberries, peaches, and plums in the summer. The house is 420 friendly. Vaping inside is okay, smoking outside only, please. Guest AccessCoffee and tea, basic cooking items, shampoo and soaps included. Interaction with GuestsMinimal interaction, but we live close, so please let us know if you need anything! Do you have little ones and don't want to travel with baby gear? We have you covered, just ask. Pack-n-play, stroller, high chairs, toys....just let us know and we can include that in your rental package. The NeighborhoodQuiet residential street, but you can walk to restaurants, grocery stores, bakery, Italian deli (with amazing home-made sausage and pasta), and a liquor store conveniently located right out the back door. Getting AroundYou have very easy access to I-70 from here. It's about 20-30 minutes from the airport, and easy access to the mountains. 38th Avenue is a block away, and takes you right into downtown (about 15 min.). There's also a bus line 1/2 block from the house that goes into downtown Denver. The 32nd and Lowell and Tennyson Street business districts are 5 minutes away and offer excellent dining and shopping options. Other Things to NoteNo loud parties.     The Apartment This very clean, quiet, comfortable walkout basement apartment is attached to our house and has a separate, private walkway and entrance. It has been completely remodeled by us with lots of care and love. It is ideal for clean, quiet travelers seeking a space to relax and call home during their trip to Colorado. We also live in the adjacent house and work from home, but we have built in noise reduction baffling where possible in the common walls to help minimize sound transfer. The property is in a very quiet neighborhood, yet close to downtown Denver, RTD #38 bus (one block away), Highlands neighborhood, Tennyson Street Shopping area, Golden, Clear Creek Trail, grocery stores, Crown Hill Park, and lots of nature. 30min. from/to Denver International Airport, and 35min. to Boulder. Lutheran Medical Center is 2min. away. Enjoy the beautiful mountain view, parks, and the open spaces, while staying so close to town/city centers.       The SpaceWe have 2 full bedrooms (sleeps 2 per room) with an additional upstairs room. Bedroom #1 has a queen sized bed and one dresser that can be used. The upstairs room can be used as a sitting room, or an air mattress can be provided to allow accommodations for 2 additional people (please ask in advance). We also have a small desk upstairs if needed. Guest AccessThe main attraction of the home is the outdoor area that has beautiful flower and vegetable gardens, a Koi Pond and a shaded deck with a table as well as a gas grill. Guests will have access to this fenced in area and the entire house. The home has wireless internet. In bedroom #1 there is cable TV. The living room has a SMART TV with surround sound and access to cable, Netflix, HULU Plus and more. There will not be access to the garage, but there are two off-street parking spots available for use in the driveway. Interaction with GuestsWe will be available via text, email or phone throughout the duration of your stay. We will either be available at the time of your arrival, or will make arrangements with you beforehand.       Guest AccessYou will have full access to the 1900 sq ft. first floor which includes the kitchen, living room and dining area and washing machine. I do not have a dryer and have found you do not need one in Colorado's dry climate. There is also an office with a desk top computer and a printer. The bedrooms are located in the rear of the main house and are very private. Small very private back yard with grill and outdoor seating for dining. Interaction with GuestsI've traveled to 6 of the 7 continents and lived and worked overseas. I will be interacting if the guests wish to. I am a warm and comfortable homeowner that can talk your ear off with information if you wish or just leave you alone and stay to myself in my fully furnished 1900 sq. ft. basement. I'm an avid rock climber in the summers and ice climber in the winter as well as backcounrtry skier. If you have any questions about climbing or the mountains in general of Colorado or even the neighboring states I'll most likely have the answer for you.         The Apartment This very clean, quiet, comfortable walkout basement apartment is attached to our house and has a separate, private walkway and entrance. It has been completely remodeled by us with lots of care and love. It is ideal for clean, quiet travelers seeking a space to relax and call home during their trip to Colorado. We also live in the adjacent house and work from home, but we have built in noise reduction baffling where possible in the common walls to help minimize sound transfer.           The SpaceDon't stay in someone's basement, or in a house full of beds. We host only 1 guest at a time in a Very Private, ground level bed room, lots of natural light, and it's own heater. Private3/4 Guest bath is just across the hall also has its own heat adjustment. Guest room is way on the other side of the house from Main bed and bath, separated by a shared living rm & kitchen. Sliding glass door in guest room leads out to back patio. To be clear. This is a shared house, it is not a separate addition, but there is some separation because you are on the other side of the house as us which affords you, and us, more privacy. We have a real mattress, and according to guests, they sleep well on it. We also provide a white noise machine that will help you sleep well and have more privacy in the guest room. Getting AroundOur house is in a residential neighborhood just west of the city of Denver. Some errands can be accomplished on foot but you will need a car or a Lyft for most destinations. Downtown Denver - only 7 miles west of here. A short car ride, or 45 minutes by bus or by bicycle and you'll be at the Convention Center, Coors Field, Mile High Field, the Mint, or the State Capital. $13 about if you are using Uber. That is less then it costs to park down town. Tennyson St. Berkley Neighborhood- a trendy neighborhood with lots of boutique stores, craft breweries, local restaurants runs from 46-38th ave. From here it is 1.5 miles to 46th and Tennyson. All the action is between 46th and 38th. Great place to take a stroll grab some coffee, find a good local place to eat, have a drink at a micro brewrey, and go dancing at the local bar called Local 46. Tennyson is a great place for local night life. scene. Denver Highlands is another very close, hip Denver neighborhood with lots of hip restaurants with views of down town Denver skyline. Hence the name "Highlands." The highlands neighborhood is about 5 miles and would cost about $8 in an Uber. Olde Town Arvada - 2 miles from here and has lots to offer. Every second Saturday they have a big street party with live music. They also have a movie theater and a good local scene of bars and restaurants. This is where you will find a large selection of chain restaurants and fast food near by as well. Downtown Golden is 9 miles from here. A short car ride, or 60 minutes buy bicycle. We enjoy riding bicycles because the entire trip is on a bike path that follows Clear Creek from our house, directly to Downtown Golden. If you don't know about Golden, you should check it out. Golden has a lot to offer. It has a mountain town / Collage town feel that is totally different then Denver. Much more like Boulder. Sloans Lake neighborhood is another nearby (3 miles) hip neighborhood with breweries and restaurants views of Denver skyline. Red Rocks Amphitheater. This is the best place in the world to see a concert. I don't care who is playing, get tickets and go check out a show here. This is just a little ways away 15 miles to the west of us, right at the i 70 gateway to the Rocky Mountains. Probably $21-$28 a Uber ride. CarShare apps like Uber are best. $10-25 dollars will get to just about all of the desirable locations. Or use your smartphone (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps to map out the best buses to take you there. Also there is lots of restaurants with in walking distance (1-2 miles). Other Things to NoteWe do have 2 friendly curious cats. The house is kept very clean, and guests tell us our house smells great. We use a Wood Pellet Litter that breeders use. Guests tell us that they do not detect a cat odor at all during their stay. The cats do shed a little bit of course, but it is pretty minimal, and not very noticeable even in the middle of July heat. We live near a highway so there is some traffic noise. Its not a big deal at all. We have new windows in the home, and we provide a fan and a white noise machine that guest find are effective at masking noise from outside the guest room and helping you get better rest and more privacy.

          The SpaceLooking for peace and quiet? Very centrally located to the mountains, the big city, malls, food/bars. Only 15 minutes (by car) to downtown Denver. Shopping, restaurants and coffee shops are close by. City bus stop and a light rail are within a mile. Interstate Highways I-70, I-25, and the Boulder Turnpike are all within close proximity. The foothills are about 15 minutes west and a 10,000 ft peak at the Continental Divide is only an hour's drive up I-70. Nearby towns outside of the Denver Metro area include Black Hawk & Central City, Golden, Boulder, Ft. Collins & Colorado Springs among many others. This space is ideal for a stop-over on a longer trip, or a restful night after sightseeing. No "luxury" to speak of, no breathtaking view, no amenities like a hot tub, but you will find a comfortable and clean bed, a quiet neighborhood, and a friendly face to greet you. The NeighborhoodThe Applewood area is a tree-lined oasis situated between Golden and Downtown Denver. We are in the middle of I-70 and 6th Ave and easy access to hiking and cycling trails. Hiking trails with beautiful views are close and dining and shopping areas are plentiful. We are about 15 minutes to downtown, 10 minutes to Golden, and 30 minutes to Boulder via route 36 which is lovely and scenic. The National Renewable Energy Lab is 2.5 miles away. Getting AroundWe are about a mile to the W light rail line that takes you straight downtown, a bus stop to Downtown (25 min ride) one block away, and fantastic bike trails that take you almost anywhere. Hiking trails with beautiful views are close and dining and shopping areas are plentiful. We are about 15 minutes to downtown, 10 minutes to Golden, and 30 minutes to Boulder via route 36 which is lovely and scenic. The National Renewable Energy Lab is 2.5 miles away Other Things to NoteWe love animals and understand that sometimes people need to go somewhere without their dog. We have a large fenced yard and can occasionally watch and walk your dog if need be.

Hop on I-70 to be en route to the mountains within 5 minutes, and just a short 10-15 minute Uber or drive from downtown!.           The SpaceThis is a shared basement apartment. It has large common areas, and a standard kitchen and bathroom. The floors are laminate, and the house is kept very clean by myself and a cleaner. Please only use facilities downstairs as the 2 units are separate :) outside area including grill and patio are shared by everyone! Guest AccessThe entire unit is available to guests, except the other bedroom and of course the other bunks. The yard is accessible, along with the driveway. The garage is off limits. Interaction with GuestsI am happy to interact with guests, or leave them alone. I live very close to this place and am always around if guests need anything. The cleaner is a good friend of mine, and he is in almost every day. He is also happy to interact with guests, give recommendations, and answer any questions you might have! Getting AroundThis house is right by a bus line, walking distance from a grocery store and several restaurants, and 10 minutes from the heart of the city by car (Uber and Lyft are great options in this area)! Other Things to NoteThere are 3 other beds in this room which may or may not be occupied so please be comfortable sleeping in the same room as other guests. There is one other room in the unit that is a private room and you will be sharing common area with those guests, should there be any. This house is a duplex and this unit is garden level. The upstairs unit is separate but may have guests with whom you would be sharing the yard. The parking to the left of the house is for this unit and there is only room for 2 cars. If there is no parking in the drive way you will have to park across Sheridan (which is a fairly busy street) and walk across.Pets are charged as additional guests and are not allowed on furniture. Please do not have any mail delivered to my house and do not use my address to sign up for anything. Please message me before booking if you are bringing a pet just in case we have another guest with allergies or something :) This house is on a busy street, but it has a fenced back yard and there is generally plenty of space to park in the driveway.Not responsible for lost or stolen articles

You will not have access to our part of the house and we do not access your apartment. We will give you keys at check in. There is also a lock box for your convenience if you don't want to carry the keys. Come and go as you like, just be considerate after hours for our neighbors. We are only 5 miles by car from downtown Denver, 20 minutes from Red Rocks and Golden, 30 minutes to Boulder and only 25 minutes from the foothills! Happy to recommend places for you to visit. It's a PERFECT location! Quiet yet totally accessible! Getting AroundThe new light rail train line (RTD) is close by and takes you everywhere! Uber and Lyft are also popular here. Parking is very easy-especially at our house with driveway parking. We know you'll be very comfortable here. :) Other Things to Note**PLEASE READ** ~We live upstairs...you will hear us walking, the pipes working, occasional low voices and our dogs pitter patter. ~However, we are very considerate of our guests and no one has complained. No kids, no loud music, no drama. :) ~You do walk through a VERY clean, nicely decorated storage area to use your kitchenette, bathroom and clean utility sink. ~ The only shared items are the washer/dryer.
