Our two acres are in a rural residential zone with neighboring homes in similar settings. But we are amazingly close to the interstate so that you can travel easily.
You will need a car as there is no public transportation nearby. 12 minutes to downtown Hartford and 25 minutes to the airport or the University of Connecticut campus in Storrs. Guest AccessIn warmer months, you can sip lemonade on the outdoor patio.
In colder months, at the end of the day, you are welcome to enjoy a nightcap or a game of chess in front of a warm fire in the fieldstone fireplace in the living room. Getting AroundYou will need a car as public transportation is not available. 15 minute drive to downtown Hartford, 25-30 minutes to the airport, the University of Connecticut Law School or the Storrs campus and lots of places of interest in the Hartford area. Although our setting is rural, we are close to the highway and to hiking trails, art museums and charming restaurants!
If you enjoy a morning run, we are located on the route of the annual 4K Manchester Road Race and you can test your timing and stamina.
