The SpaceAvailable for you is a private cozy apartment ready to sleep, feed, and entertain two to four people depending upon the relationship among the guests. For example, 2 parents and 2 children can be accommodated. When booking a reservation, please include anyone sleeping over as a guest. When you are ready to retire for the night, sink into your comfy queen size bed. There is also a double futon bed if needed with a feather topper for your comfort. A recent addition to the room is a lovely wood bureau (chest of drawers). New pics for your viewing will be up soon. For cooling down on a hot day, why not take a dip in our sparkling in-ground swimming pool. The pool is well maintained and kept chemically balanced. Or if you prefer, relax poolside under the fully screened in pool or on the covered patio. Pool access up to 9:00 pm.
For sustenance, continental breakfast will be provided as well as certain cooking appliances. Breakfast will include items such as freshly ground 100% Arabica bean coffee, whole milk, decaf coffee upon request, teas, orange juice, soda, bottled water, beer, cereal and a variety of fresh fruit and cheeses. We also provide fresh baked breakfast items such as muffins, croissants, and bagels. Margarine, cream cheese, and preserves are always included as well. Various paper goods and utensils such as microwaveable plates, on the go cups with lids, and plastic silverware are provided for your convenience. For longer stays, menu will vary. Feel free to use the refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, automatic coffee maker, and outdoor charcoal grill (complimentary charcoal). We also have additional cooking appliances available upon request. If you are in the mood to grill, grilling utensils are provided. There is also a glass dinette set for convenient eating (seats four).
When you're ready to settle down for some entertainment, feel free to make use of the TV. Direct TV is provided with recorder. The TV has a built in DVD/VHS player. You have access to our personal DVD and VHS video collection. List of movies is provided. We own several hundred movies covering several genres and decades. We do offer continuous wi-fi internet. However, the data plan for this area is too limited for high data use (i.e. streaming video).
We offer a full bath with large shower, continuous hot water, and a vanity with sink (with storage) located near the bathroom. Our property has natural Rainbow Springs delicious spring fed well water. You and your guest will have your own continuous on demand water heating system (tank less).
To keep you warm (in winter) or cool (in summer), your apartment comes equipped with central air and heat thermostatically controlled. When you want to get some fresh air and enjoy the outside, feel free to relax on the outside chairs provided.

Guest AccessOutside the apartment, our guests have access to the pool and patio over at the main house. For your convenience, there is plenty of parking just outside the apartment. Guests have 24 hour access to the ranch.
As far as the neighboring horse farm, please respect the rights of the owner unless they give you permission to feed the horses. Interaction with GuestsAs we live on the ranch as well, someone will usually be on the premises of the property. There is 24 hour access to the private paved road on the property. We are available to assist in filling your needs, making you feel comfortable, and answering any questions you may have. Feel free to call, text, or stop by the main house. We are a friendly family, love to meet new people, and look forward to your stay on our ranch! Of course, we always respect the privacy of our guests. The NeighborhoodOur gated and paved property sits on a quiet scenic road. We are surrounded by thoroughbred horse farms, lush pastures, granddaddy oaks and even see an occasional horse rider. There is also a biking club that rides along our property line, on the scenic road. Right across the road, is a stretch of the Live Oak Stud Farm. The cows often stop by and graze right across from our property entrance.
Just minutes away is the Sholom Park with its beautiful botanical gardens and lovely winding trails. Perfect for picnicking, meditating, reading a book, taking pictures, fitness (walking trails), or feeding the huge koi fish.
As far as restaurants, groceries, banks, stores, and gas stations, just travel down the 200 corridor, the hub for the above amenities and the Paddock Mall.
HITS (Horses In The Sun) is located approximately 20 minutes from our property. HITS features horses from around the country competing in a number of different types of equestrian events. Open to the public.
Silver Springs State Park and the Glass bottom boat tour is well worth checking out. Rainbow Springs, Rainbow River, and Devil's Den are popular vacation spots. Want more great points of interest? How about the Ocala National Forest? Getting AroundParking is available on the property in front of the apartment. The only exception would be for an RV hook-up. RV stay-over is available for an additional fee (utilities included). The local airport (Ocala Airport) does not accommodate commercial airlines. The closest airports for commercial flights are Orlando International and Tampa International. Car rental agencies are available at each airport. Other Things to NoteThere are great places to visit in Ocala and surrounding areas. Sholom Park with it's beautiful botanical gardens, winding trails, and huge koi pond are a "must see". Don't miss Silver Springs Park and the Glass Bottom Boat Ride, which is just a few minutes away. Heading west of Ocala is Rainbow Springs in Dunnellon. Both parks offer much to do and see.
Ocala is well known for hosting many equestrian events such as HITS (Horse Shows In The Sun), OBS (Ocala Breeders Sales), rodeos, private racing events, to name just a few. There is so much to choose from.
There are also farm tours, Petting Zoo in Ocala for kids, Nature and Wildlife Tours, the Appleton Museum of Art, Downtown Historic Ocala,
horse drawn carriage rides, Don Garlits Museum of Drag Racing, canoeing, kayaking, and so much more!
If you're looking for adventure, how about trying out ziplining, horseback riding, cavern diving. So much to do, the list is endless. Heading north towards Gainesville, you will pass through the Paynes Prairie, state park/preserve. There are two walking trails through the Prairie.
Continuing on to Gainesville, you may find yourself in the the historic town of Micanopy. This lovely little town features quaint shops, antiques and "Old Florida" (historical). Don't miss McIntosh, another quaint "Old Florida" historic town with beautiful large Victorian homes and antique shops.
If you are more into the theme park scene, head southeast (about an hour and a quarter) to Orlando and arrive at the home of Mickey Mouse (AKA Disney World). Of course, there are beautiful beaches in three directions to choose from.
