Now you can have the entire Inn for your reunion, group or meeting!
Our Inn is Georgia's oldest Bed and Breakfast Inn since 1896 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Originally known as a large ideal country home, the Inn has long been known for mountain spring water, and large verandas with views of the Little Tennessee River Valley. The design from original log farmhouse and 1840’s servant quarters to Victorian Inn reflects rural adaptations of the “Resort Era” in Rabun County.
Our beautiful setting and history of community inspired the original family, past and now present Innkeepers Stan and Christine Penton. Beautifully decorated and romantic rooms and suite offer a variety of plush bedding arrangements, all have private baths and luxury amenities and some have fireplaces and private porches. Taking a rock on the veranda under the hemlocks, a quiet moment at our pre civil war Spring House, or a quiet walk in our own forest area and country lanes recall a past era.
We offer delicious breakfasts for guests. Weddings, Anniversaries, Birthdays, Meetings or any special occasion are welcome. Special Packages are available. Situated near the base of the Appalachian Trail, beautiful National Parks, Tallulah Gorge, Black Rock Mountain, hiking trails, horseback riding, fishing, motor-cycling, shopping, art galleries, flea markets, wineries, museums, auction house, white water rafting and so much more.
