It is a 2 minute stroll to Liberty Grill, "Smith Brothers" Gourmet Butcherie & Food, Screaming Mimi's, Ta Ca, Bier Haus, and a 5 minute stroll to Broughton Street; a 6 minute stroll to Cha Bella, Saint John the Baptist Cathedral, Firefly, J.Christpher's; an 8 minute stroll to the Pirate's House; a 10 minute stroll to the Waving Girl and River Street, and a 15 minute stroll to City Market, Telfair Museums, PDeen's, and Forsyth. (And, there is free parking beside Beytagh on a rare non-metered street in the Historic District so no need for rolls of quarters for each day of your stay.) The horse drawn carriages are berthed nearby and can be seen and heard starting and ending their shifts from the front entrance and rounding Crawford square each morning and evening. A rate of only $195 per night is great for a free parking location in the true Landmark Historic District and requires a three night minimum stay. Walk to anything in minutes! This gracious home offers comfort, a fully stocked kitchen and the historic beauty of original heart of pine floors, five original fireplaces, a private deck and a private fenced courtyard. Beytagh is just a short walk away from Forsyth Park, City Market, River Street, and Broughton Street. You won't need your car to get to shopping, restaurants, arts, culture, and entertainment. Wander out the front door to beautiful Crawford Square, or relax in the private courtyard. Parking is non metered; free! (Crawford Square was designed in 1841 and named in honor of William Harrison Crawford, Minister of France during the reign of Napoleon. Beytagh is, on a pet by pet basis (less than 30 pounds and well behaved and non-destructive) pet friendly so that you may bring your best friend on your perfect vacation. The enclosed courtyard is perfect for them to enjoy, as well as having Crawford Square nearby. Our community is very dog friendly; many restaurants have outside dining and allow you to dine with your pup. (Pets must be on a Veterinarian prescribed flea regiment.) One bedroom, heart pine floors, high ceilings, working fireplace! All the modern comforts in a charming setting! LOVELY DOWNTOWN COTTAGE. This small group of historic cottages is located just 2 blocks from Savannah's famous Forsyth Park. They are on a quiet lane, away from the busy city streets. Built in the 1870's, these cottages were most likely intended for freedmen, domestic servants or day laborers for the larger & finer houses nearby. They boast many of the details of their larger, more elegant cousins---high ceilings, fireplaces, & heart pine floors. They have been restored to include modern kitchens; central air, back decks & landscaped courtyards. This is not a chic suburb! It is a diverse neighborhood of students, gays, yuppies, & traditional African American families living side by side. There is low income housing nearby. The neighborhood is still in the process of gentrification--- if this makes you uncomfortable, you should look elsewhere..The area is favored by college students, artists, & young professionals. There is easy walking access to the park, coffee shops, health food/grocery store, the weekly Farmer's Market & several of Savannah's finest restaurants. Parking is non-metered street parking on surrounding (URL HIDDEN) parking allowed in the lane.. The cottage is furnished in an eclectic style, with many antiques as well as more modern pieces. The bedroom is in the back, overlooking the garden area & is furnished with an antique full sized bed and double closets. Original art & local photographs are hung throughout the cottage. The living room boasts a sleep sofa (queen) & writing desk (wi fi available). There are 2 seating areas, a flat screen cable TV & a working fireplace (instructions included). There is a full bathroom with tub/shower just off the kitchen. This cottage is ideal for a single person (ready to write that novel??---a best seller was written 2 doors down!) or as romantic getaway for a couple. Stay in the 3rd floor ballroom of this historic (circa 1893) brick Victorian mansion that overlooks Forsyth Park. **Please read our entire page so you will be informed on check-in, your room (we have several guest rooms in our house), parking, etc. Please see our second photo of the back of our house which gives info on parking. We have 2 cats, so please make sure all guests are aware of this.** The main room, which was originally built as a ballroom, is a huge room with 2 queen beds, and a sectional sofa. Your room includes a kitchenette with a little refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster. Coffee station right outside your room. You will have a full private bath. The room has its own thermostat, so you may adjust the temperature to your liking. Wi-fi and cable are included. Our house is less than a mile from Bay Street and is located in the Historic District of Savannah. You will be within walking distance of the entire historic district which is full of beautiful homes with amazing architecture as well as lovely parks and squares with oak trees draped with Spanish moss. Savannah offers dozens of restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, boutiques, and art galleries. Architecture: Our house has all the characteristics of a Victorian style home including bay windows, sash windows, transoms, multiple porches and balconies, 9 fireplaces, and a Mansard slate roof. Tybee Island is only 30 minutes away which has great restaurants, pretty beaches, and beautiful sunsets. Bonaventure Cemetery is 3.7 miles from our house. Our house was on the 2013 Savannah Tour of Homes and Gardens. **We also have another guest room on the 3rd floor (The Meyer Suite) and 3 guest rooms on our 2nd floor.** Check-in is at 3pm, and check-out is at 11am, but we are very flexible with these times if the room will not be occupied by other guests. *Please note that airbnb charges a small fee to hosts and guests, so your total will be a little more than the room fee.* Please join us on our website and (website hidden) page (ForsythParkHouse) for updates on photos and local events. The SpacePlease Note: No smoking inside the apartment, no pets and no children under 16 years old. We offer Location - Privacy - Comfort - Value. LOCATION - We are where you want to be with just a little buffer from the tourist crowd yet an easy walk. PRIVACY - You have the entire apartment yet we are nearby in the main house and available for you. COMFORT - The apartment has a king sized bed, full kitchen, large dining area, TV/DVD with cable in both living room and bed room and of course wireless high speed internet VALUE - The Air BNB recommended pricing for the apartment is substantially higher than our initial pricing. The apartment accommodates up to four people with the king bed and the full sized sofa bed; however may work best for just two as access to the bathroom is through the bedroom. The entire apartment is yours to enjoy, plus there is an outdoor seating area upstairs right outside the apartment. You may also relax in our courtyard. We hope to get to meet every guest. We both work during the day and some evenings. You will be provided a code for access. We are in a wonderful area of mainly historical residential houses mixed with a few businesses and churches. The house was built in 1875 and the Carriage House has a sweet history as it housed a Confectionery Shop (Candy Shop) many years ago. We picked the name Spanish Moss because our Crape Myrtle trees in front of the apartment are covered while the other trees on our block have little or none. We are just a little over a block from Forsyth Park. The fifteen minute walk to River Street and City Market is easy and wonderful. Take a different street each time you go with each having unique character and history. Our favorite route is through the center of Forsyth Park and up Bull Street. Nothing like walking to dinner and enjoying a couple of glasses of wine and not having to worry about parking or driving home. We have several tasty restaurants within a few blocks and restaurants everywhere as you get further downtown. Street parking is free in our area and typically readily available within a stone's throw from the apartment. No off street parking available. The SpaceOur place is simple, independent, as you enter the front door, your door is on the left, and opens to a bright, good size room. This room then opens to your bedroom, where you'll find your bathroom and access to the little patio. The apartment is furnished: TV, fridge and microwave, queen size mega comfy bed, desk, chair, lamps, carpet, and coach. The location is great: just a few blocks from Whole Foods, a short drive from downtown, and in a nice, quiet area. Off street parking available. Guest AccessYou can come in and out without waking up anyone. Perfect for those who like to have total freedom of movement or arrive late in the middle of the night. Interaction with GuestsAs we are not in Savannah this year, we sadly cannot personally welcome you. But Scott, who lives on the second floor, will welcome you if he is home and manage the rooms during our absence. So not much interaction but on the plus side, the studios are totally independent, on the ground floor and can be accessed any time of day or night without disturbing anyone. The NeighborhoodWe are situated near Daffin Park, Whole Foods, the mall, a short drive from downtown, with a bus stop right in front of the house. Getting AroundThe house is on the corner of Bee and 38. Other Things to NoteTo turn the heat on, please push the on/off button on the radiator. The arrow allows you change the temperature. The price on display is the regular price. It can vary, depending on the period of the year, which is always made clear at the moment of the booking with airbnb (and thus has to be accepted by you).

Visually stunning, Savannah is always surprising us, even after 40 years! Getting AroundBus stop one block away, although you can easily walk to all the best that Savannah has to offer. Bicycling is also a great option. Other Things to NoteWe are steps away from venues for the Savannah Music Festival, Savannah Film Festival, Rock 'n Roll Marathon, and .3 mile from River Street.

This bedroom has its own thermostat, so you may adjust the temperature to your liking. It also has a small refrigerator, a microwave, and toaster. Coffee station right outside your room. The Forsyth Park Cafe is across the street in the park and has a Starbucks and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our house is less than a mile from Bay Street and is located in the Historic District of Savannah. You will be within walking distance of the entire historic district which is full of beautiful homes with amazing architecture as well as lovely parks and squares with oak trees draped with Spanish moss. Savannah offers dozens of restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, boutiques, and art galleries. Amazing window views if you love to people watch. Guest AccessAccess to all Savannah has to offer. City Market, River Street, Franklin Square, museums, cathedrals, great shopping on Broughton Street and in City Market (Anthropologie is directly across the street). In the heart of Savannah's nightlife district. Interaction with GuestsWe live several blocks away and will communicate as needed. We provide very detailed arrival information and access codes to get keys. We are always available via text or phone and our maintenance man is on call for emergencies. The NeighborhoodEverything there is to love about being in the heart of downtown. Convenience is key. Walk to cafes, shops, bars, parks, museums, and anything else you might want to do or see in Savannah. Please note that part of the beauty of being in City Market is the bars, nightclubs, restaurants, visitors, horse drawn carriages, shuttle buses, honking cars and pedestrians. The SpaceForsyth Park Olive 1 in Historic District of Savannah! Stay in this beautiful historic 2-story apartment located directly on Forsyth Park. You'll have the entire apartment to yourself it includes 1 king, 1 queen, 1 twin which are located on the top floor and a sofa bed which can accommodate up to 7 people. Apartment is freshly painted and will have new linens. A full bath, kitchen, dining room and living room are located on the 2nd floor, bedrooms are located on the 3rd floor. You have the entire apartment to yourself. There is a front and back entrance to your apartment. Your welcome to park behind the house or on the street at no cost. You will enter to the apartment behind the house. It will be located on 2nd floor. Please note: the apartment does not face Forsyth Park. This is a historic house, therefore, NO elevators, only stairs. Unit it self is located on the second floor however this unit has additional stairs to the bedrooms. House has its original quirks. Windows are sealed, old original wood floors. This is the South and in the South we have bugs and mosquitoes due to our wild weather. We spray twice a month to prevent them. Please don't freak out if you see a bug, just kill it. They are all over the world. I am usually nearby and always available by phone/text. We strive to give our guests their privacy while being available as needed. We are located in the Historic District of Savannah on Forsyth Park and are within walking distance to many shops, restaurants, art galleries, parks and squares. We are on Troup Square , a central downtown location with easy access to the River, Broughton Street, and Forsyth Park. A number of good restaurants are a 5-15 minute walk away. On Wednesday evenings at 5:30 neighbors gather in the square for a drink and conversation. There is a free bus that circles the downtown area, about a block from the house. The farmers market is every Saturday and the park host many events throughout the year. Careful attention to detail throughout - the exterior has been restored to its Victorian beginnings and the interior designed for modern needs. This dwelling is unique in Savannah and provides a true "getaway experience." Thanks for your interest, Sanctutary Place. Built in 1889 as St Paul's Episcopal Church by architect Eric Eichberg, this historic property hosted varied congregations over the past century before falling into disrepair around 2002. Restoration began in 2005 and the MIddle Loft was completed along with the exterior in 2008. The exterior sides, covered with stucco, were refitted with cyprus siding. The original vintage pine was reclaimed from the roof and sides to be used for the interior construction. The flying buttresses and bell-tower, both missing for decades, were reconstructed from historic photographs. About 50% of the stained glass was replaced with restoration glass, the surviving memorials were restored where possible. The interior was designed to flow upward and outward providing different vantage-points to view the original details. The original ceiling and support columns provided the framework for a minimalist design concept - further accentuating the remarkable Victorian-era craftsmanship. The green and blue glass combine with amazing results to create a surprising amount of warmth for such a large volume of space. The Loft is contemporary but the juxtaposition of the old and new creates a comfortable balance, giving the Loft the true feel of a home.

The SpaceIt is very homey and comfortable. WIFI, cable tv, private parking and walking distance to anything in downtown Savannah. As little or as much as guests prefer. I have a hair salon downstairs that is accessible by the front (the apartment is at the back and upstairs). Guests can come and talk and hang out whenever they like, or call me for info on Savannah. I love the peacefulness of my neighborhood, but yet still being right there downtown. The CAT is available right at my street corner to take you where ever you want to go in the city! I think our place is super cosy and comfortable and we are there to provide whatever necessary to make your stay the best ever!
