The SpaceVilla Santorini is nautically-themed and professionally designed by Estera Style. It seamlessly blends beach-chic, the timeless style of Ralph Lauren, and old-world, architectural elements found in idyllic Greek island villas. Villa is loaded with every luxury amenity and premium furnishing under the Grecian Sun. Daily maid service available upon request.
Perfect for guest chefs or groups to make meals together, this full-service kitchen has an 8 ft. sliding glass door which opens to the Sunset Dining Terrace. The designer chose elegant painted custom-built cabinetry in a mix of white and grays finishes, Arctic White Quartz counters, a stacked marble backsplash, and under-cabinet lighting. The 10ft by 5ft island has seating for eight on Italian leather stools. There is also a walk-in pantry with custom shelving.
Kitchen has service for 30, all stainless steel appliances, and everything needed to make enticing meals and desserts. Professional appliances include a Marvel Fridge with auto ice-maker, Verona EuroChef gas range, AGA Chimney Hood, Maytag convection baking ovens, Marvel ice-machine, two Whirlpool dishwashers, and two double-bowl sinks with Grohe pull-out faucets. A custom cabinet features two Jenn-Air cooling units for wine and cold-temperature beverages loaded with specialty glassware.
The Historic Round Room at Villa Santorini is truly one of a kind. Built in 1938, it is the original structure of the compound and features a 36 feet diameter space reminiscent of a villa found on an idyllic Greek island with its 12 inch thick white plaster walls, cast iron wood-burning stove, radial beamed ceiling, and lantern sconces with filament bulbs that illuminate the perimeter of the room. Two propeller ceiling fans add to the nautical theme. Enjoy not-to-miss 270 degree views of the lake, sand, sky and nature through six teak wood casement windows and a triple patio door which opens out to the North Terrace. Finally, a wrought-iron spiral staircase leads to the Gallery and Master Suite.
This expansive room has four seating areas that are perfect for dining, entertaining, and relaxing. The dining area accommodates up to 12 guests with a casual yet elegant feel and features an original Herman Miller Eames table (circa 1950s) with Eames-inspired dining chairs. A 1950s credenza which once graced the offices of the Wrigley Building in downtown Chicago now serves as a buffet along with a modern rustic chandelier with rope detail and a vintage inspired oriental rug seamlessly create a memorable dining experience. The TV viewing area features a rich coffee leather queen sofa-bed, Plasma TV with sound bar, sub-woofer, and Smart Blu-Ray player. Intimate conversation seating around the wood burning stove is tufted espresso leather lounge chairs. There is also a round game table with seating for six guests that can double as additional dining space. The centerpiece of the Round Room is an arched, Mediterranean-style daybed.
