Interaction with GuestsThere is a self-check in policy, just let me know approximately what time you'll be arriving but we won't be there to greet upon arrival unless requested. We find this gives more flexibility to the check in, since travel can be so uncertain. But please send a message when you've safely arrived and let me know if there's anything you need! I will be available for anything but will give you your privacy otherwise! The NeighborhoodThis house is a perfect location for whatever brings you to Iowa City. A quick drive downtown to the restaurants and culture available there, or you can walk up the street to Stella's restaurant and sit on their fabulous patio. The house is surrounded by the University buildings and a mixture of apartments, homes and businesses (which are mostly preschools) but the private back yard is a great oasis for the busy neighborhood. The street is relatively busy but the house sleeps quietly, and the backyard is almost fully enclosed.
