The SpaceYou’ll love my place because of the old school charm and out of town location. Georgia's Place is a 2800 square foot home built in the 1940's by a never-married business owner. It has been used as a restaurant and now a family home. This home features a covered front porch, 38 large windows, French doors, antique hardwood floors, glass door door knobs, large deck and patio, record player, tons of character and southern hospitality. It's an excellent location to get away, event, or wedding.
There are two gas fireplaces (one in the living room and one in the master bedroom), an office/bedroom with built in desk area, outdoor seating, ceiling fans in all bedrooms and living room, excellent heating and air, a quirky 1940's oven, funky antique and retro pieces, books, and comfortable furniture. There are several tvs throughout but there is no satellite/cable service.
Our home is your home. Welcome. Guest AccessGuests have access to the entire home and yard. There is covered parking in the back for boats, etc. The NeighborhoodThere are two houses within viewing distance-both across the road but directly in front of the home. The country roads are great for biking or jogging.
The home has two available bedrooms, two bathrooms. Patio/deck area and covered front porch.
Area outdoor attractions include Lake Columbia, Lake Erling, and Logoly State Park-all within a few minutes of the home. Magnolia also features a cute, historic downtown area with shopping and eating. Each year, Magnolia hosts the Magnolia Blossom Festival and the World Champion Steak Cook Off. While you are downtown, don't forget to drive by our other property, the historic Cameo Theatre-right off the square. Wave to Nifty Nick, the fella in the ticket booth window. He loves when you wave! Getting AroundThere is no public transportation locally.
