LONG LAKE CAMP - Waterfront, cable TV, washer/dryer, HUGE porch. I have a 4 season camp on Long Lake in Harrison Maine by Naples half way up Long Lake (and Sebago Lake/Brandy Pond). I am NOT a realtor and thus have NO hidden fees. It is on Cape Monday Cove and has a private dock...great for overnight use (if you have your own boat or choose to rent one down the street). It does not have a sandy beach right there by my dock, however you can go to the "common area" 3 houses down the street, where there is a volleyball net and a small beach. My family typically takes our boat out to the main lake around the corner and dives in. I do supply a canoe and row boat for your use. It has a full kitchen (with all the amenities including dishwasher and RO water filter) and 2 bedrooms on the first floor (1 queen and 1 full), and 2 full beds and 1 twin upstairs in a large private room on 2nd floor. Whether you're planning a romantic get-away for two, or looking to create memories that will last a life time, my rustic, newly renovated log home has everything you're looking for: a quiet, luxuriously rustic, waterfront, 1,400-square-foot log cabin located in Bridgton, Maine – named one of the best vacation towns by DownEast magazine, and frequent visitor – author Stephen King. The log cabin is situated only 12' ft away from beautiful woods pond. Defying the standard connotation of “pond,” at 2 miles by 3/4 mile, and over 28' deep in the middle, woods pond is ideal for swimming, boating, fishing, and all kinds of recreational water activities. Summer, fall and winter, there's something for everyone to make memories of family fun, relaxation, and experiencing the great outdoors. The log home has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, dining area, and living room overlooking the water. With the new renovations, the interior was designed to bring the outdoors inside, with natural stone interior walls, rustic exposed log beams and walls, granite counter tops, and solid hardwood floors throughout. You'll have all amenities, including new stainless steel refrigerator, gas stove, microwave, keurig coffeemaker, Omega fruit and vegetable juicer, washer/dryer, and cooking/eating ware, gas grill outside, 2 new gas fireplaces, flat screen tvs, satellite tv, and a new bose 235 lifestyle system with speakers in nearly every room. The favorite exterior features are the lake side deck, new Jamaican style king size hammock, and the custom recessed bonfire pit 6' from the beach. Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck 12' from the water. In summer, soak up some rays in the lounge chairs; then cook seafood on the grill and enjoy dinner around the picnic table. In summer or fall, end your evening sitting in Adirondack chairs, watching the sun set over the lake and then sampling ghost stories and s'mores around the bonfire. Surrounded by trees and nature, Woods Pond is home to Maine's most magnificent wildlife: loons, bald eagles, ospreys, black bears, deer, and the most photographed animal - the Maine moose. For the angler, or recreational fisher, woods pond is stocked with large and small mouth bass, rainbow trout, brook trout, salmon, white perch, pickerel, and horn pout. On the property, enjoy your own small private beach for swimming, a newly built 32' ft by 6'ft dock used for sunbathing, fishing, tying up your boat, or good-naturedly pushing a friend or loved one into the water. Additionally, a boat launch is located nearby on the lake for easy access. The lawn in front of the water is perfect for playing croquet, volleyball, whiffle ball, soccer, or for just throwing around a frisbee.

The SpaceOur cabin is in a secluded area of the property so it is very private. It is the perfect size for honeymooners or a small family. Lake access is 20 feet away! There is a beach and kayaks for your use. Summer or Fall is perfect for staying here. Our cabin is on the rustic side but comfortable. The kitchen has a table and chairs, pots, pans, dishes, glassware, utensils, electric stove/oven, refrigerator, Keurig cup at a time brewer, toaster oven and microwave. The open living space has a queen size bed, fireplace, a sitting area and dining area that looks out to the lake. There are 2 twin beds in the loft above the kitchen. We do not provide sheets, pillowcases or towels. Bring your own linens for a queen bed and two twin beds. Should you forget to bring your linens we will provide them at a cost of $25 . The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. The cabin is accessed by a 1/2 mile drive from Highland Rd to the lake through a forest of pine, maple, oak and hemlock on a camp road. It can be rough but we drive it regularly in a Honda van. This is a shared private road so it will only have traffic from the other cabin down the road. You are welcome to any blueberries, raspberries, grapes and apples growing on the property. There are 2 kayaks and safety vests for the use of our guests. We are happy to give kayak instruction if (URL HIDDEN) is fun, easy and the lake and islands are wonderful to explore. There are also 2 bicycles for getting around the town but driving them up and down the camp road can be an adventure in itself. You may see deer, groundhog, fox, moose and other critters. Be sure to bring cameras for that happy possibility. It is a quiet secluded piece of heaven. We live on the property 1/2 mile away and can be reached by phone should any problems arise. You are welcome to visit our flower gardens anytime you like...or help with weeding! The apple orchard is next to the camp road where you are welcome to wander. These old trees bear in the Fall and the fruit has been delicious. Our town of Bridgton is a sweet small town that has parks, Pleasant mountain, locally owned restaurants, shopping, public access on Highland Lake, and summer camps. Across from the main house is a beautiful golf course and tennis club. It is open to the public and their rates are quite fair. Beth's Kitchen Cafe, Vivo Italian Restaurant and Ricky's Diner are local favorites for dining. There is an indoor movie theatre and, for a fun evening, try the drive-in movie theatre. Bridgton is about 40 miles northwest of Portland. There is a bus that goes to Portland and back . The best way to get around is bicycles, cars and walking. We have 2 bikes for you to use but I advise a car as the best way to get to town then walk to experience the town. There is no wifi, or television. (We are in the woods of Maine). Cell phones do work as Pleasant Mountain (just to the west )has cell towers. There are several places in our quaint town of Bridgton where there is wifi...the library, Beth's Kitchen and Cafe, etc. Most visitors are here for lake activities but there is shopping in town and a few restaurants. A trip to Reny's department store is a must, and be sure to stop in at the Firefly Boutique. There are an abundance of hiking trails in the area that include Pleasant Mountain which has skiing in the winter.

(Beds are new and comfortable). There are bathrooms on both floors...shower on first floor and tub on second. It has cable TV and a DVD player, and gas grill. I just did the kitchen over with new cabinets and any awesome granite countertop. It is a 4 season house with a regular oil furnace for use if it gets damp/cool at night. It also comes with a washer and dryer in the basement. It has a HUGE screened porch with picnic table, and horseshoes in the backyard. Also, if you are the type that needs to stay "connected" even on vacation...you can connect to free internet wireless service at the Town's library 5 miles up the road...you will see others parked in the parking lot with their laptops 24-7. Available to rent by the week at $1400/week over the Summer (June - Sept.) Saturday to Saturday. However, I would reduce the rent to $1300/week for a 2 week rental; $1200/week for 3 or more weeks. Please no smoking inside, and no dogs (I will consider cats). I would have you fill out a rental application and provide $500 refundable security deposit. (Also available during the Winter as Long Lake is known for their ice fishing derby, great snow mobiling trails, and I am mintues from Shawnee Peak ski area.) Defying the standard connotation of “pond,” at 2 miles by 3/4 mile, and over 28' deep in the middle, woods pond is ideal for swimming, boating, fishing, and all kinds of recreational water activities.

We have a real nice cozy 2-bed Suite w/ Kitchenette. Its located in-town, near everything; theatre, lake, beach, playground, parks, fishing, shopping, antiquing, food, dinning, and walking trails. We would like to find someone who wants to lease the Maine Suite for 2-6 months at a time (up too 1-year). Not to live in, but rather as a getaway destination.
