The SpaceFrom a guest: "We stayed over Christmas and it was so beautiful watching the snow fall while overlooking the water. The house is exactly as pictured and described, it has everything you need, a very well equipped kitchen, lots of space in the lounge and a large dining room table, which was perfect for our Christmas dinner. The area is beautiful, and very close to the beach. Clark was wonderful to deal with and was very responsive to all my emails, and called me to make sure we arrived ok. My first Airbnb experience was fantastic, and I hope that i get to stay again in this great home" I look forward to speaking with you and sharing this wonderful home and beach. The SpaceSeacliffs B and B is a typical Maine summer cottage, surrounded by water on 3 sides, magnificent sunrises and sunsets over the Sheepscot Bay. We sit high on a hill that looks over the cove filled with lobster boats, sail boats and sea life, like seals, harbor porpoises, osprey and eagles. Enjoy your coffee or cocktails in comfortable deck chairs that look out over the water. Sue has an artist studio on the property that looks out over Gott's cove, where she shows works of the Maine coast. Please note that we have three golden retrievers, so if you are allergic or afraid of dogs, we are not the place for you. If you like dogs, they are always happy to oblige you in a game of "chuck-it" off the dock. In Five Islands you can eat at Five Islands Lobster Co-op for the best lobster on the coast, or you can drive a short distance to "Blue" at Grey Haven's Inn for an upscale meal, or " The Osprey" for local seafood,at Robinhood Marina. Please note that many of the restaurants are seasonal and you should check availability. Three miles down the road, is Reid State Park, with gorgeous beaches, trails for hiking and lagoon for swimming. We have miles of trails in Georgetown, fresh water swimming lakes, blueberries to pick, and islands to explore. You can truly relax in our peaceful setting, but have easy access to Route 1, to explore the towns of Bath, Boothbay Harbor and Freeport, all within an hour's drive. Guest AccessAvailable to guests are the grounds, common area TV room, living room, screened in porch, 2 decks (front and back of the house) and wharf/dock. Please, no children under age 12. Cottage Connection was one of the first vacation rental companies in the Mid-coast region of Maine. Since 1993 they have been trusted by homeowners and vacationers to “connect” each family with the perfect cottage for their vacation. As Audrey puts it; “The home they stay in becomes a personality, a part of their lore, when a family connects with the right cottage. Since 1993 they have been trusted by homeowners and vacationers to “connect” each family with the perfect cottage for their vacation. As Audrey puts it; “The home they stay in becomes a personality, a part of their lore, when a family connects with the right cottage. Whether they want a rustic cabin in the woods or a high-end ocean bungalow, the right setting sets the tone for the entire vacation.” Learn more about how Cottage Connection can help make your vacation perfect! Jeff and Audrey Miller, who own three vacation rental homes themselves had an aha moment when they realized they could not find anyone who ‘got it’ to manage their rentals for them. White Rocks is a classic New England shingle style summer cottage on the salt water in mid-coast Maine. The scenic vistas from the cottage are what sets White Rocks apart. The cottage overlooks a large bay and has spectacular views of islands, lighthouses, and the rocky coastline. White Rocks has a screened porch and a deck that both overlook the water, as well as a private dock for boating, kayaking, fishing and swimming. The cottage is in excellent condition and is nicely furnished with a combination of antiques and modern furniture. Every room in the cottage has authentic wide plank wood floors and water views. White Rocks has all the necessities, including a lobster cooking pot and a gas barbecue grill on the deck. The cottage has two upstairs bedrooms. The main bedroom has a comfortable queen sized bed, and the second bedroom has two twin beds. A full sized sofa bed in the living room will sleep two people. White Rocks has a full kitchen, a separate dining room, a spacious downstairs bathroom with a full shower, and a cozy living room. The cottage has a flat panel HDTV, a DVD player and a CD player. White Rocks has electric heat, and the bedrooms have overhead fans. Unlike many rental cottages, sheets, blankets, and towels are provided for guests and the beds are made. White Rocks is located just steps from the water and has its own picturesque cove. The cottage faces west, so you can enjoy gorgeous sunsets every evening. The cottage also has a large lawn where you can play catch, croquet, or simply sit in the shade. White Rocks is a short drive from Reid State Park, the most beautiful beach in Maine. A free season pass to the park is included with the cottage rental. The water supply for the cottage is from a private drilled well. The water is regularly tested, is crystal clear and perfectly safe for drinking, cooking, washing dishes, showering, etc. No chemicals that can affect taste, such as chlorine, are added to the water, as is typical with public water supplies. We think the water tastes just fine. Nonetheless, we provide unlimited bottled spring water free of charge to all guests as an additional amenity. The cottage is available for rent from early May through late October. We rent by the week in June, July, August and September. Shorter rentals may be available in May and late October. Additional fees may apply: - Additional guests above 6 people| 20 USD per day White Rocks Cottage is in a very private location at the end of a quiet country road in the Town of Georgetown. Georgetown is actually one of Maine's larger islands, with almost 83 miles of rugged coastline, and is connected to the mainland by a bridge. The island has a general store, a post office, a church, two fine restaurants, an art gallery, a gourmet farm market, a pottery shop, and a lobster wharf that serves seafood in the “rough. The wharf also sells live lobsters and clams that you can cook at the cottage. There is much to do at the cottage and in the area, such as swimming, fishing, kayaking, power boat rentals, scenic boat cruises, biking, hiking, nature walks, antiques shopping, and beachcombing. You won't have time to do them all! White Rocks is less than 10 minutes from Reid State Park, which features the most beautiful beach in the State of Maine. The park includes two beaches, hiking trails, a warm salt water lagoon with lifeguards that provides safe swimming for young children, and numerous tidal pools. We include a free unlimited pass to the park with the cottage rental. This pass will admit you to all the state parks in Maine. The Josephine Neuman Wildlife Sanctuary is also located close to the cottage and has miles of hiking trails. Admission is free. Freeport, with its outlet stores (including L.L. Bean), and bustling Boothbay Harbor, with its many restaurants, shops, sailboats, and sightseeing tour boats, are both located about 35 minutes away. There are many other attractions in Brunswick, Wiscasset, Damariscotta, Camden and Rockland (such as seafood festivals, summer theatre and concerts, art museums, etc.) all within an easy day trip from the cottage. And don't forget, the fall foliage in mid-coast Maine is stunning. If you are looking for peace and quiet, along with beautiful scenery, then we are certain you will love White Rocks Cottage.

Wild turkeys come in the fall and it is not uncommon to see a bald eagle resting in one of the tall pines by the water. It is rare for Maine to have long, wide sandy beaches and we are lucky enough to have Reid State Park just a few minutes drive from us. There you will find Mile and Half Mile beach, huge sand dunes and breeding grounds for many endangered birds. Interaction with GuestsAs noted, the owner is available for questions and planning the perfect vacation. Liia also works with people who have an interest in the horses, whether it is a pat on the nose, or learning more about horse care and riding lessons. The horses are a rare breed with a stallion imported from the UK. Liia also does workshops and help with nature photography. As the owner of a B&B for many years, Liia has learned some people love interaction , while others want that special private to just be together. The NeighborhoodThe home is located in a very unique location. This working horse farm sits at the top of a hill on a 48 acre island connected to beautiful Georgetown Island by a causeway. There are only 5 homes scattered around the island, so it is a property very secluded, but close to many activities. There is a seasonal excellent resturant a half mile away. Nana's Beach Cottage is a rustic getaway with stunning panoramic views. Originally built as a stable in the early 20th Century, the cottage today retains much of its original rustic feel even with several expansions. If you are looking for luxury, this is not the place for you. But if you are looking for something uniquely rustic in a spectacular setting where most of your day will be spent outside, Nana's Beach Cottage is just the place for you and your family. The cottage is located on a beautiful private sand beach where you can swim and play right out your front door, hike through woods, kayak the shoreline, walk the mudflats at low tide, watch birds, identify anemones in the tide pools, indulge in beach novels, rekindle that latent interest in watercolor painting or photography, drift to sleep with the lapping of the waves and wake to a sunrise dancing across the water. For adults and children of all ages, this is a special place to be away from it. Here everyone can disconnect from digital devices and connect with one of the most beautiful spots in Maine.

White Rocks is a classic New England shingle style summer cottage on the salt water in mid-coast Maine. The water supply for the cottage is from a drilled well, and the water is conditioned to remove iron and other minerals, like most well water along the Maine coast. The water is regularly tested, is crystal clear and perfectly safe for cooking, washing dishes and showering. As some guests may find that the tap water does not have a "city water" taste, unlimited bottled spring water is provided free of charge for all guests as an additional amenity. The cottage is available for rent from early May through late October. We rent by the week in June, July, August and September. Shorter rentals may be available in May and late October.

For adults and children of all ages, this is a special place to be away from it. Here everyone can disconnect from digital devices and connect with one of the most beautiful spots in Maine. Guest AccessAs guests of Nana's Beach Cottage, you will enjoy full access to several other sandy beaches, mudflats, endless rocky shorelines, tide pools teeming with critters, nature preserves, and fresh water ponds.
