We offer laundry service to our guests for a small fee! Interaction with GuestsWe're right across the hall if you need us, but we like to give our guests plenty of space.
We are animal lovers so if you're playing with your dog in the yard, we'll probably ask to say hello! You may see us working in the garden, shoveling snow, or running around with Penny, our big & sweet puppy. The NeighborhoodOur homestead is located in North Gorham, Maine, in the heart of a vibrant farming community. You'll find wonderful seasonal farm stands, apple orchards, and pumpkin patches. We're right in the middle of the Sebago Lakes Region, with its numerous rivers and waterways to explore. In addition to the ITS snowmobile trail system, you will find several dog-friendly hiking & biking trail systems and land reserves in the immediate area, including the Sebago to the Sea Trail.
Don't worry, we're not TOO far from civilization! We're only a 10-minute drive from the towns of Windham and Gorham, and just 30 minutes from Portland. Other Things to NoteThis is a first-floor apartment, but you will need to climb a few steps to reach the front door.
While the apartment is kid- and pet-friendly, it's not toddler-proof. There are small things than can be eaten by kiddos or critters and the outlets are not covered. Please be sure to keep an eye on your two- or four-legged responsibilities.
We love our old house! The building is undergoing some renovations but this will not affect your stay in any way. You may find the hallway to be in a state of repair.
