The SpaceThis guest room suite is big, bright, and summery! Guests love its spaciousness and privacy! My home is a perfect spot from which to enjoy the amenities of the Kennebunk/Kennebunkport area. I have a lovely 1902 updated New Englander with wide pine floors and cheery colors. I live in a very unique area of older homes which have been moved here. It is a very quiet neighborhood. My home is yours when you are here as a guest! You are welcome to share the large common rooms, screened back porch, outdoor Adirondack chairs under the shade trees, etc. You can store your things in the frig while you're here...use the ice for your picnics, etc. Sleeping arrangements for this listing.... This is a suite of two rooms. The larger offers a queen-sized bed, and the other has a lovely daybed twin. The second floor rooms are bright, nicely decorated, and you will feel as though you're in a nice hotel or bed and breakfast. See my other listing for the second bedroom (#1) availability. Both the upstairs bedrooms share a separate spacious bath in the hall. All queen-sized beds have high count sheets and down mattress toppers which will make your stay here heavenly at night. I provide terry robes for your travels to and from the bathroom. My home is 3 miles from K'port, an easy ride by bikes, or even a healthy walk. It is located in a private country setting. At night you can hear sounds of nature that you wouldn't hear in town! This past summer we had wild turkey families parading around the large side lawn. Come and experience southern Maine! Our beaches are lovely, our seafood is delicious and affordable, and a variety of outstanding restaurants abound. Sorry, we are a pet-free and smoke-free home for everyone's comfort. I provide fresh coffee, orange juice, and bottled water in the AM. If you're here in the summer, I can also provide you with great beach chairs, beach towels, and coolers for your ventures to the beautiful local beaches! And bring your bikes and kayaks. You can store them in the garage while you're off exploring in your car. I will provide you with maps of the areas, and can give you many suggestions for restaurants, shops, etc. Guest AccessGuests can use my frig. My kitchen is not available for cooking, but my microwave is available for use. All common areas downstairs (two living rooms, breakfast area, screened porch, etc.)are yours to share with me or other guests. Interaction with GuestsI am a conversationalist, have been a tour director for students to Spanish-speaking countries, so I love to share what I know about our southern Maine areas. I also try to leave my guests alone. I am in and out.... The NeighborhoodIt's very peaceful here. At times, there is NO sound. Guests LOVE it! Getting AroundI'm close enough to K'port (3 miles) so as to ride bikes or even walk to town. Many people jog or walk on the country road where I'm located. Other Things to NoteIf you are flying in, renting cars, etc., I can let you borrow beach chairs and beach towels for the day at the beach.

It is a unique, private, comfortable spot with lots of history to be shared with you. It is not for everyone....you will need to take a few steps to the main house for the private bathroom facilities on the main floor.

My place is close to Downtown Kennebunk, 4.5 mi. from the beach, 4 mi. from Kennebunkport shopping, 25 minutes from Portland, 1.5 hours from Boston. It is a perfect center point right on route one in Kennebunk. We have a patio with a grill and fire-pit, on a dead end, quiet road. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).
