The SpaceMowatt Manor is occupied by yours truly (Debbie), my husband (Shelon) and 2 yo Border Collie (Roxy). During your stay, you will have access to WiFi, cable TV and Netflix, a 24/7 café and business center. The spacious second floor bedroom provides privacy and a tranquil setting with a queen size bed, TV, and workspace. The bedroom also has fresh linens and an iron and ironing board. The full hallway bathroom is stocked with body wash, shampoo, lotion, and a hair dryer. For your convenience and safety, there is plenty of free street parking in a well-lit area just steps from our home. Guest AccessDuring your stay, on the main level you will have 24/7 access to a half-bath, living room area with TV and café. In the café you'll find a compact fridge, microwave, snacks and games. Complimentary breakfast items and snacks will be provided on a daily basis. Our home also offers a spacious backyard with seating for outdoor living. Interaction with GuestsAlthough my husband and I work during the day, we are available via telephone, text and/or email to answer any questions, make suggestions, and/or respond to any emergencies. During your stay, the extent of all interaction is completely up to you. Please know, we are more than happy to accommodate any of your needs. The NeighborhoodWithin walking distance of Mowatt Manor, you will find a McDonald's, Giant Food Store, banking, gas stations, fast food restaurants, nail salon, hair braiding shop, Advanced Auto, liquor store, CVS and bus stop. For guests who are interested in working out, the Allentown Splash Tennis and Fitness Park offers an indoor pool and workout equipment for a nominal fee and is only four minutes away! If you're looking for a great meal and live entertainment, I highly recommend the Fish Market Restaurant located in Clinton, Md. only 2.2 miles away. Getting AroundGetting around the DMV (DC, MD, VA) from Mowatt Manor couldn't be easier. For guests without an automobile, I would recommend Uber or Lyft. Another great alternative to driving is to take advantage of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (the DC Metro). The Branch Avenue Metro Station is less than 5 miles from our home and parking is free on the weekends. If driving, I-495 is just around the corner and provides easy access to I-95, I-295, I-395, and the Baltimore-Washington Parkway. Other Things to NoteDuring the day our loveable, yet energetic Border Collie Roxy, will spend her time in a separate area located on the main level of the home. In the evenings, Roxy can be found in the backyard exercising or spending time with us on the couch. For guests who prefer NOT to interact with Roxy, please let us know in advance and we will take the necessary steps to respect your wishes.
