Beaches, nature trails, beautiful open spaces...we've got it all. Shops, restaurants, entertainment, farm stands and farmers markets are all close by. Antiques and thrift finds all over Other Things to NoteI have four very sweet rescue dogs -- two small, two medium-- plus one cat. They are all very friendly and good natured.
Kana, the beautiful black & tan dog, can sometimes be a bit protective, but if you offer your hand under her chin and acknowledge her, you'll get along fine. Just don't ignore her. Because from her point of view, that's what burglars do.
Reggie, the little white dog, gets really excited and yappy in a happy way. If you tell him he's adorable, you will make his day.
Abby, the curly blonde girl, loves to hug. It's a wheaten thing. If it's not your thing, just gently tell her to get down.
Milo, aka Mr. Moo, has trouble walking, so you may not even see him. But if you hear something that sounds like a baby seal, that is him aarping. He's mostly deaf, but if you feel like saying hi go ahead. He is bright eyed, bushy tailed, and maybe my favorite. (Sssssssh)
Tuukka, the boy cat, loves to drink from the tub in your bathroom. If you don't mind indulging him, just turn it on so it trickles and shut it off when he's done. If you don't want him in there, please be sure to keep the door closed.
He is a big orange boy and maybe the gentlest soul on the planet. He obeys better than most dogs and will be delirious with joy if you just scratch his back.
For the most part, I keep them out of your way using gates & room dividers. But if you want some puppy love, we are more than happy to oblige. And if you're not a big fan of cats and dogs, well, we will try to understand and keep our distance. But frankly, you're really missing out. :-)
