The SpaceI live in a great neighborhood that is easy to access from I-91 . I am 5 mins to Northampton and 20mins to Amherst, Hadley (Mt Holyoke).
Guests may use kitchen, living room, dining area, backyard if you like. We have Adirondack chairs, a couple settee's and a large backyard, and front yard. Eco-organic, deet free bug repellent for house use so you can enjoy the backyard at dusk and at night.
At present there is a washer in basement but no dryer I have a clothesline out back that i use when i have the time to hang it and get freshly dry . And you're welcome to do the same if you want to do a load. Otherwise there is a very clean easy peasy laundry mat, the Washing Well from the home 3 mins in downtown Easthampton next to the best bagel shop in the valley (Tandem Bagels)
When i am home i listen to music, read and putter on the internet. There is a smart telly. I have a somewhat busy social life and enjoy engaging with others and solo time as well . Occasionally friends drop in for coffee and visit. I come and go throughout the day, and can respect others need for quiet and chill time when communicated.
Please Note this is a (very lite) smoking house at times it's aired daily and ashtrays emptied throughout day and night. Light on chemical use and lots of open windows in the summer to let in light, air and bird sounds all day long. Guest Accessentire house, except my room. Interaction with Guestsi am in and out... I like to listen to music quietly and putter on computer, read, watch little telly write my penpals and host occasional dinner parties . I am open to engagement fur sure at the same time but don't wish to infringe on your down time in the house also so if you seek calm or a disco nap during the day or wanna use the space to do work on your computer at the dining table that's kool too.
. The NeighborhoodSettled tree lined single family resident homes with great views and farmland just around the bend from me where the Park Hill Orchard is located and is host to Art in the Orchard, apple picking (late Aug thru Oct) and open to self directed strolling about. Literally 15 min walk from my from front door to there's. You will wake up to the sounds of birds singing in the morning and a cacophony of crickets and such at night.
House is 2 minutes from downtown E'ho and the Nashawannuck pond. There is 3 micro breweries in E'ho that have taprooms besides the local bars to boot.
Oh and we have Easthampton Community Arts building (originally was the city hall building that lights up its towers every night in a revolving colors on the roundabout. It's kinda awesome sauce. Getting AroundPublic bus is limited into and thru Easthampton and is a under a mile from house.
