The NeighborhoodWelcome to Hull, Massachusetts - Home to Nantasket Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in New England. Hull is a gateway to the Boston Harbor Island State Parks system and boasts a very heroic and interesting maritime history. Our 3.5 mile sand beach faces easterly towards the Atlantic Ocean, and our quiet harbors and bays make for a beautiful backdrop to your day of boating, fishing or swimming.
A Glorious Past - Even if you only visit for a day, Hull has many historical sites and attractions to visit. Our famous Paragon Carousel which was rescued from the sale of Paragon Park in the early 80's is one of the country's oldest wooden carousels. The Hull Lifesaving Museum home to the country's first manned lifesaving station was founded to save countless lives that could have been lost to the ferocious seas, and the start of the modern day United States Coast Guard. A visit to Fort Revere will bring you back to the Revolutionary War and give you a front row seat to one of the most magnificent views in America.
A Sea of Possibilities - Surrounded by water on three sides, our peninsula is a haven for boat and sailing enthusiasts from all over the world. Kayak the lazy Weir River Sanctuary, sail around historic Boston Harbor Islands, or tie up for lunch at one of our great waterfront restaurants.
Shopping and Wellness - Visit one of Hull's unique boutiques and art galleries, have a relaxing massage at one of the local great spas or workout with a run along the beach. We also have bike, canoe, and surfboard rentals, to keep you fit and in health. Then there's always just BEACHING it. We have beach chairs, towels, and sun protection for your convenience. Whichever you may decide, we are here to accommodate your needs.
Stay a night, week, or the entire summer. The possibilities are endless. Our rentals make Hull and Nantasket Beach your best choice for an overnight stay while still being close to Boston with commuter rail and commuter boat departures daily.
Dine In or Outside - Hull has some of the South Shore's best restaurants. If you want a casual pub, a romantic candle light dinner or fried clams while watching the waves roll in, we have it all here in Hull. Many of our restaurants and clubs feature great live entertainment and sports 7 days a week, all year long. For our local picks you can check out our guidebook attached to this listing.

The MBTA Greenbush line is approximately 3 miles away with weekday train service to Boston. Public and private transportation are available. We have parking for your car during your stay .... but you can also walk to everything you need from our home! Other Things to Note*Please note that our house was built in 1856. It is old, but it is in the process of being updated. We think it is charming. Some of the doors, windows etc. are imperfect. Also, there is no central air-conditioning, but the bedrooms have window units.
*See our other listings for the same property. This accommodation is private and has a separate entrance and locks. This rental is a section off of the main house that the owners live in. There may be other rooms rented out on the same property at the same time. We do have a labradoodle dog that lives on the property. He IS part of the family and will not be asked to leave at any time. He is non-shedding and hypoallergenic and is just about the most adorable animal on the planet (That could be a biased opinion :) ).
