The SpaceThe Eastlake Suite, w/its lovely sitting room which overlooks Westford Common, exudes the atmosphere of another age. The unique tiles in the headboard of the wonderfully comfortable queen-sized bed are in themselves a conversation starter - or stopper - as guests peer more closely at the tiles, trying to identify the story being depicted. Both the Eastlake Bedroom and its Sitting Room invite cozy conversation, reading and journal writing along with drinking of coffee, tea or wine - plus the best of HD TV, Blu-Ray, Bose speakers, etc. The original fireplaces in both rooms add to the ambiance. Bathrobes for guests' use are provided. (Special Offer: you can message the host if you're interested in reserving the Eastlake as a bedroom w/private bath, for $100, rather than as a Suite). Guest AccessGuests have access to a Sitting Room with makings for tea and coffee. Fresh fruit and delicious 'nibbles' are available. The HD TV, Blu-Ray, Bose speakers plus wi fi, games and some books add to the number of choices of things for guests to do. The hosts maintain privacy for the parts of the Tavern that they live in. However, the Dining Room with its lovely bay window, antique furniture and very happy array of plants is open to guests for their delicious Full English Breakfast. Interaction with GuestsThe host greets guests on their arrival, offering tea or coffee in welcoming them to Fletcher Tavern. The host is also involved with guests during breakfasts each day. The NeighborhoodFletcher Tavern sits in a quintessential New England village, just across the road from the Common. The church (whose gr gr gr gr grandfather owned a pew) is within easy walking distance, i.e., on the other side of the Common, as is the excellent Westford Library. The Westford Museum, just across the street, is open Sunday afternoons and gives a glimpse into the people and life during the early years of this New England village. Genealogical expertise is offered by the Museum which may be able to help guests make connections they have long been trying to make! There are MANY walking trails within Westford! Be ready to be pleasantly surprised! Additionally, just a five minute drive away is Forge Pond (actually more of a Lake) which was a sacred ceremonial ground for the early American Indians). Getting AroundThere is ample space in the Tavern driveway for guests' cars. There is no public transport from Westford Centre - and very few sidewalks. You'll be happiest if you have your own car. Public transportation includes the MBTA Commuter Rail Fitchburg Line in Littleton, that goes into Boston. If people are over the age of 60 they may be able to use the local transportation (including being picked up) provided by the Cameron Senior Centre. Limo service enables guests to get to and from Westford / Logan Airport (C&L Limo, (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN); Allpoints Limo, (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)). Other Things to NoteThe Eastlake bedroom can simply be a bedroom with a private bath ($100 per night) or it can be a suite, with a connecting sitting room plus private bath ($150 per night).

The SpaceYour king bedroom is large enough to fit 2 comfortably with extra space for a pack and play (you may borrow ours) or twin blow up mattress (We have one!). There is also a private living room with large TV (Wii, Apple TV, Amazon Fire, no cable). You also have a full kitchen - fridge, stove, oven, Keurig, plates, utensils - and you have a full bath with a large stand up shower. You also have the in home gym (elliptical, treadmill, weight bench), a dining table, and a screen/glass in patio room with a table. You will have direct access to the outdoors and lake from your floor. You have a private living space with the kitchen, dining area, screened in porch, sofa and kids play area. We live on another floor and will stay off the guest floor while you visit unless needed. The home is handicap friendly, with a chairlift that can take passengers between the 2 levels. If you have children older than 4, you must include them in the number of guests booking. Guest AccessThe most unique feature of this home is the lake it is on! Beautiful year round, we have a canoe you are welcome to use. You can also swim and fish. Borrow our bike & helmet to take a ride over to the local farmstands and pick up some groceries. Use the in-home gym, including weights, Precor elliptical, and treadmill. Feel free to bring kids who would like to play with the swingset/slide and toys. Additional guests can sleep on an air mattress or pack and play (we have a spare pack & play). We also have a large screen Apple TV and a Sonos Play One that you can connect to your favorite Pandora station. Interaction with GuestsAs much interaction as you want or as little. We will stay out of your apartment while you visit. Some guests have visited for solitude and relaxation while others have become extended parts of our family. We're happy to have you whatever interaction level you prefer! The NeighborhoodThe lake is beautiful with year round fun- summer swimming/fishing/canoeing and in winter skating/ice fishing. The neighborhood is a former campground and is beautiful to walk through. Nearby is Kimball Farms, famous for ice cream, mini golf, and more. Also within a few miles is Nashoba Valley Ski area and winery, also great for fall apple picking. There are wonderful trails and farms. There is a butterfly museum and children's museum within 20 minutes drive. Check out our "guidebook" for some of our local favorites. We also have a binder guidebook with menus at the space for you to browse. Getting AroundIf you would like to head into Boston, the commuter rail is a few miles away and is a 1-hour ride in. Save yourself the hassle of driving and parking in Boston! We will gladly pick you up from the train station if our schedules align. You are welcome to borrow our bike as well for visiting nearby farmstands or wandering the neighborhood. Other Things to NoteFamily Friendly! We have an indoor trampoline that is fun for the kids in the winter. We can set up a toddler bed and pack and play for you. Kids can use any and all toys in the playroom. Children under 4 are included in the regular rate. Children older than 4 must be included in the total guest count. The SpaceRoom with a View (in Fletcher Tavern B&B, Westford Centre) sleeps two, overlooks the Common and church, all in all a tranquil, stereotypic New England scene. The ensuite bathroom has a 'champagne' tub plus a heated toilet seat you will particularly appreciate on cold nights. Bathrobes for your use are included. The Room with a View is one of three bedrooms that are available in Fletcher Tavern B&B for guests to use. Guest AccessA sitting room with coffee/tea facilities, fruit and nibbles, HD TV, Blu-Ray, Bose speakers and wi-fi is just across the hall. Delicious breakfasts, including full English breakfasts, are served in light-filled dining room with antique furniture and a multitude of plants in the bay window overlooking the garden. Family areas of the Tavern are not shared with guests. Interaction with GuestsGuests are warmly welcomed by the host who introduces them to Fletcher Tavern with a cup of tea or coffee if they would like. Guests can come and go as they want since they have their own key. There's an embarrassment of riches in terms of places to visit and things to see in the area so guests are usually quickly out the door, taking the opportunity to investigate the abundance of American history and many activities on offer in the Westford area. The NeighborhoodEasily accessed via 495, Rts 3 and Rt 2, Fletcher Tavern B&B is set in a traditional, picturesque New England village. An excellent library is just on the other side of the Common, a few steps away. Walking trails are a short walk around the corner ; skiing and a lake are a seven minute drive away. Restaurants and shopping are just down the hill. There is no public transportation in Westford Centre - and there are few sidewalks. Your best bet is to have a car so that you can easily get out and about. There is a pizza shop a short walk down Main Street which is easily accessed from the Tavern. Getting AroundA train into Boston is available from Lowell and also from Littleton. There is ample parking at the Tavern. Either a limo or a driver can pick guests up at the airport. Other Things to NoteGuests have access to a sitting room with HD TV, Blu-Ray and Bose Speakers. The current owner is the fourth great grand-daughter of Timothy Fletcher, who ran the house as a Tavern in the mid-1700s.

Interaction with GuestsI delight in welcoming guests on their arrival, sometimes (depending on circumstances) with a cup of coffee or tea and warm home made cookies whilst we sit in the patio room. I am also available for sitting and chatting during a delicious breakfast after guests have been served! The NeighborhoodIn winter, guests can clearly see Westford Common, plus a traditional church with a steeple, from the front rooms of the Tavern. In summer, the gardens are a pure delight, full of colour, in the English tradition with numerous birds as well as chipmunks being frequent visitors. Although the Tavern is located in Westford Centre (by the excellent Library, the police and fire stations, plus the Rodenbush Community Centre) there is (unfortunately!) no local transportation to get guests to the business area a mile down the hill, and there are no sidewalks to enable guests to walk there. There are walking trails close at hand, at least one of which can be accessed by a sidewalk. You can walk to a local pizza restaurant which is on Main Street. Bottom line is that you'll be happiest if you have a car to use whilst you're staying at the Tavern! Getting AroundThe Fitchburg-South Acton Line of the MBTA Commuter Rail Service can get you to Boston. These trains stop in Littleton which is only a ten minute drive away from the Tavern. Other Things to NoteThis is a lovely part of New England! Forge Pond (actually a Lake in Westford which was a sacred place for early American Indians) is just a five minute drive from the Tavern. There's skiing right here in town - as well as hugely fun snow tubing - and miles and miles of trails for exploring. There is much to do and, at the same time, the Tavern gives you a unique place to hang out, harkening back to a gentler era. Breakfasts are superb - and include delicious fresh fruit and outstanding coffee!

The SpaceHow better to get a sense of our ancestors than to stay in the very private Tavern Room with its feather bed plus a claw-footed tub in the generous sized en-suite bathroom? Old glass in the windows lets in light for both rooms. With such ample space in these third floor rooms, makings for coffee and tea are provided as are fruit and delicious nibbles. Bathrobes are available for your use. A large TV, Blue-Ray and Bose speakers, plus wireless are available if you want to use them. The Tavern Room is one of three bedrooms in Fletcher Tavern B&B that are available for guests. Guest AccessGuests have access to the gardens, to the patio room with wood burning stove, to a gracious dining room and a sitting room in addition to their bedroom and bath. Interaction with GuestsGuests are warmly welcomed by the host with coffee or tea. A tour of available bedrooms can be made available. Guests usually interact with the host during breakfast, as the day begins. The NeighborhoodThe setting of Fletcher Tavern is outstandingly picturesque, sitting as it does by the Common, with views of the church and of an excellent library. Skiing, water sports (Forge Pond) and walking trails are within a seven minute drive. Fall colours are idyllic. The police station is within walking distance which may be a contributing factor in helping Westford Centre be a safe area. There are numerous walking trails within Westford, two of which are just moments from the Tavern. The Rodenbush Community Centre offers numerous courses, some of which may be of interest to you and the outstanding Fletcher Library is on just the other side of the Common from Fletcher Tavern. Getting AroundAlthough we wish it were otherwise, there is no public transportation from Westford Centre. There are a few sidewalks, but your best bet is to have your own car to use. The nearest trains which go to Boston are from Lowell and from Littleton (MBTA Commuter Rail Fitchburg Line). Guests have said that it takes them 15 min. to drive to the Lowell Station and then the trip into Boston takes 30 min. You can drive to the Lowell station and park there for $5. You'll want to check the train schedules from Lowell and/or Littleton before setting out... Meanwhile, the Tavern has private (free) parking for your car whilst you're staying here. Other Things to NoteFletcher Tavern has offered hospitality to guests for almost 300 years. Undoubtedly because of this people find it easy to feel 'at home' and relaxed in the serenity of the quite beautiful home on arrival. Table, chairs, rocker, relaxing cushioned chair along with makings for tea and coffee plus fruit and other nibbles are comfortably arranged in the Tavern Room which go a long way in helping guests settle in and feel at home. There is a delightful sitting room (with another HDTV, etc.) for guests on the 2nd floor.

There's ample parking space in Fletcher Tavern driveway which is just off Boston Road. Staying here at the Tavern gives visitors rich opportunity to explore the vast number of historical sites in the area. Walden Pond, the Concord Museum and the Louisa May Alcott House come to mind. Use the washer and dryer in the basement. Borrow my single or double-seated kayaks on the pond down the hill. Fish at the popular fishing spots on the brook or on the pond.       Luxury seasonal resort cottage steps to the beach, pools (heated family & adult pools), outdoor hot tub, playground, tennis/ basketball/ horseshoe/bocce courts and fitness center. The cottage has a lovely screened-in porch, fire pit outside the door and is a <5 minute walk down to Long Sought For Pond. Check out all the fun on the Summer Village website!! The cottage is furnished and the rental includes use of the golf cart, outdoor gas grill, washer/dryer, towels & linens, and all the amenities of the Village. We also have a pack-n-play available if needed. Sorry, per the Village rules, pets are not allowed during rental periods. The cottage is located ~20 miles from Boston in Westford Massachusetts. The resort includes a pond for swimming, boating and fishing. Outdoor recreational facilities for all ages, including a sandy beach; family pool and heated adult pool; hot tub; tennis courts; "The Lodge" Restaurant with Bar; "The General Store" with ice cream, coffee, newspaper and candy; basketball court; bocce and horseshoe areas; playground; and a fire pit in the cul de sac outside. The Pond is well stocked with bass and trout for fishing. Kayaks, canoes, and wind powered Sunfish for passive sailing are available. Renters are not allowed more than 2 guests at any one time without prior approval from the owner; and no more than 4 people total shall occupy a rental cottage overnight, nor shall more than 4 people total from a rental cottage use any one amenity at any one time. Guests are required to pay a $ 30.00 resort fee. This will be paid to the owner directly upon check in. Failure to comply will resort in lost of security deposit $200.00 charge. Renters must notify the gate house of expected guests, prior to their being admitted. The cottage is furnished and the rental includes use of the golf cart, outdoor gas grill, washer/dryer, towels & linens, and all the amenities of the Village. We also have a pack-n-play available if needed. Sorry, per the Village rules, pets are not allowed during rental periods. The cottage is located ~20 miles from Boston in Westford Massachusetts. The resort includes a pond for swimming, boating and fishing.                                       Everything was built from 2007 on. Fresh, clean cottages with tons of things to do and enjoy the beautiful Spring, Summer and Fall. Swim, boat, eat, drink, walk and just enjoy !!!! Adult Pool with Jacuzzi, child pool, tennis, basketball, bar and restaurant.
