The SpaceYou will be set up in a private room with a fully made queen bed, and some storage. The house is a beautiful 100+ year old victorian with 1 bathroom, kitchen, living room, storage room, and 2 outdoor porches. My apartment provides the quintessential Worcester experience, as the "triple decker" style of the home--three apartments stacked on each other, is over a century old and is traditional in this area. We are located right off of a main street in a busy college neighborhood so expect some noise especially on the weekends. Guest AccessGuests will have access to everything but the private bedrooms. Coin OP laundry in the building, otherwise everything is included (TV, Tons of DVDs and Video Games, Internet, Electric, Heat, Hair Dryer, Ironing, Coffee Maker ect). We also have towels and toiletries. Interaction with GuestsThere are two of us living here, we are all young professionals working full time, one female and one male. I am usually home in the morning. I enjoy conversation when guests are open to it, but also respect need for solitude. I am always happy to share what I know and love about this city. The NeighborhoodEasily accessible to the highway. The house right across from beautiful and historic Elm park for walks or runs (Ice skating in winter) and walking distance of a supermarket, Natural foods store, Ethnic food markets, restaurants, shopping, Salons, Gas stations, and Bars. Its also situated less then 2 miles from Holly Cross, Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), Clark University, Worcester State University, Becker College, Assumption College, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS). DCU Center, Worcester Art Museum, and Mechanics hall. It is an Busy and diverse neighborhood, Very safe and great for walking. We are right on the street so there is some noise in the hot summer months although the building is quiet. Getting AroundThere is on and off street parking. Union Station (commuter rail) and Bus station is about 1.5 miles away. with bus stops close by

The SpaceEnjoy a great getaway with hospitable, down-to-earth, inspiring hosts in a lovely and comfortable home at a wonderfully convenient location! We are easily accessible to major New England cities, towns and amenities and happy to provide information and wisdom about local and regional points of interest. We can also assist with long-term housing options and guidance if needed. Guest AccessYou have access to all the basics here including WI FI. You will have a private room (with queen size bed) and also exclusive use of a full bath on the same hallway (toilet, sink and bathtub/shower). Laundry is available upon request. You are welcome to visit in the main living room, kitchen, dining room and yard. Feel comfortable and at home. (Please note: Additional sleeping arrangements may be available if requested in advance. Also, our office, garage and basement are generally private. Thanks for your understanding.) Interaction with GuestsMy partner and I are very approachable and generally outgoing, though on a continuum between serious on one end and joking on the other, you'd likely find us closer to serious and professional. We are courteous, friendly and flexible as far as interacting and let you set the pace in that arena. Whether you prefer some socializing or require more quiet or private time, either way is perfectly fine. Generally, we are working typical daytime business hours so unless you have made special arrangements with us, we will usually expect that you will also be busy with your own activities during daytime. Thus, we will primarily see you in the evening and hopefully to share a great breakfast* made to order in the morning! (*Special dietary preferences are not a problem!) The NeighborhoodThe best of both worlds: Quiet, lovely small town neighborhood minutes from downtown city-life amenities! Also centrally located only 45 minutes from Providence RI, and 60 minutes from Boston MA, Hartford CT, or Nashua NH. Please feel free to inquire for more info. Getting AroundRegional travel is pretty good with the commuter rail running from Boston to here. It is also possible to take Amtrak train service to Providence RI, Hartford CT, Nashua NH or many other places including New York City. Local transportation is a bit less obvious though there are cabs and local buses. Depending on time of the year and what you're doing in the area, walking or bicycling may be feasible. I am also may be able to provide some rides, if I know in advance. Please inquire if interested. Other Things to NoteAt the moment, we have one room with one very comfortable queen size bed available for booking but may be posting additional rooms in the future. In the event that you have a need for more than two people, please do not hesitate to inquire and we will accommodate you if we can. (We do have an optional pull out twin size air mattress available as well upon advanced request.)

We live on a quiet road in the very safe Burncoat neighborhood of Worcester, Massachusetts. There are three bedrooms in our house, one and a half bathrooms, a roomy kitchen, and an open-concept living room and dining room. At the front of our house, we have an indoor patio, which is great in all seasons. At the back, we have a deck, patio, and spacious backyard. Although our neighborhood is purely residential, we don't live far from the local shopping mall and movie theatre. Worcester as a whole is a bustling city with a lot to do and a lot to give. We are a very musical couple; I sing and play the piano, and Levi sings and plays the drums. We have a wonderful 2-year old dog, who is 30 pounds and very friendly and great with kids. Although we don't have children of our own yet, I have years of experience as a nanny. We both love kids and are excited to share this experience!

The SpaceWhen someone first visits our apartment, they often comment about how wonderful it feels- that the energy here is vibrant and safe, the decor is beautiful, and we are gracious hosts. We think you will find our home is wonderful too! A bit about us: my roommate and I are interested in social justice, mindfulness, health, nature, and community. The bedroom that's open for your stay is mine, and my roommate Naisha would be hosting you, along with her cat, Shadow. Logistically, we are able to have up to three people stay. Two can comfortably share the bed, (if they are partners- it's a double, not queen), and a second/third person could stay on a floor bed, on our living room couch, or *possibly* in another bedroom. (Please inquire if you would prefer to rent more than one private room). A couple notes: -The room does contain personal belongings, but we can make arrangements for you to have room in the closet if you need. -We live in a working class part of the city, close to families who sometimes have dance parties or crying children. In some seasons the ambient noise is more tangible, so we can provide fans for white noise. If you have a very difficult time sleeping, please be aware of the chance of sound. Sometimes it's very quiet here, but it's difficult to predict. -Another sound to know about are our steam radiators. They provide delicious heat, but they can be creaky and clanking. Again, a fan can make all the difference, but we want to be transparent about this. This is a 102-year-old triple decker, built in the traditional Worcester style. We are sure you will love it's charm as much as we do! Guest AccessIf you are a guest here, you will share a bathroom, kitchen, and living room with us. All kitchen gear is yours to cook with, and there can be space in the fridge too. The bathroom is fully stocked with supplies- hairdryer, straightener, products, towels, etc. There is also free laundry (a nice washer and dryer in the basement). Outside you'll find front and backyard areas, which are shared with the other apartment residents. Though not professionally landscaped, our outdoor spaces are quiet refuges if you need a break from the city. Bikes might be a possibility for you to share, too! Interaction with GuestsWe do live here and would be available during your stay. If you have questions we will do our best to accommodate you. The NeighborhoodOur neighborhood is diverse and alive- a mix of nationalities from all over the world, with families and students. Within walking distance you can find restaurants from every continent, including vegan and vegetarian fare. And with Clark so close, there are frequent academic events of interest. We also highly recommend checking out the Worcester Art Museum and the Worcester Historical Museum. Both are a short bus ride to downtown. Getting AroundIt is easy to catch a bus on Main Street to the heart of the city or the bus/train station. We are also very near the Worcester airport. Unless it's very snowy, there is ample street parking, too. (Ask us about winter parking if there have been lots of blizzards). Other Things to NoteWe look forward to meeting fellow travelers and learning about what brings you to the *cheap and easy* city of Worcester!

Please keep in mind we do have two dogs in the house, One is a little 5lb friendly 6 year old and the other is a Shiba Inu puppy who's very friendly but high energy. We additionally usually have some airbnb guests.
