Marshall OverNight Stays is a place we'd like to stay when traveling. It's private, centrally located, secure, interesting to be in, and a place with open spaces to set travel bags. We enjoy having a private space when we get-away, so we do not enter the apartment for housekeeping, etc. while guests are there unless guests have requests.
MONS has the advantage of being right on Marshall's main street. So you can park your car (free, camera-monitored parking structure right next to our building ) and enjoy exploring this vibrant, historic small town. Built in1865 as the Perrin Bank , our corner building still has impressive features, such as 15 ft. ceilings and sand stone & limestone facade.
The OverNight Stay had the honor of being featured on the 49th Marshall Historic Home Tour in 2012, and our building's first floor was the featured business on the Marshall Historical Society's 50th Home Tour!! in Sept. 2013. After years of restoring it, we believe it is indeed one of the most beautiful business locations in Marshall.
It is next to a movie theater and a mediterranean tapas restaurant, so good food and an inexpensive movie are right out your door. It's down the street from many shops and restaurants, including Schuler's, and a short walk to the now-famous Dark Horse Brewery...which is very convenient.

Our vibrant downtown is loaded with independently owned shops, including many vintage, art, antique, salvage, and gift stores, a well-stocked hardware, bars with local flavors, even an independent pharmacy. Theres a yoga studio, tattoo artist, and several hair/nail designers if those are your thing. Marshall has a hard-working Historical Society that maintains three unique museums, plus there is an outstanding Magic Museum just a few doors away. A variety of entertainment is happening at the Franke Center for the Arts which is right next door, and the Great Escape Theater downtown maintains a full schedule of a variety of plays.
