The SpaceThis listing is for the single occupancy Bedroom 2, which is a private bedroom on the second floor that shares a full bathroom with Bedroom 1 (see separate listing). A large shared closet (accessible from both rooms) is available with numerous drawers, shelves and hangars. The room has garment hooks for hanging up clothes, towel racks, and access to a full-length hallway mirror. The shared bathroom has an exhaust fans, which you can’t even find in some hotels!
Bedroom 2 has a 7' twin bed, desk, bedside table with lamp, dresser drawer space, side chair, ceiling fan, and window air conditioner (the rest of the house has central air). Guests 6'4" and taller have said the twin size bed is great to sleep on and that they could comfortably stretch out in bed. Basic laundry service is provided at no charge (drycleaning is extra). Ideal for business travelers and those needing longer term accommodations. Guest AccessGuests have full access to the living room, dining room, kitchen, porch, deck and backyard with privacy fence. The stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, secured WI-FI, and wireless printer are available for use.
Guests enjoy a delightful covered porch with an old-fashioned swing and a table with four cushioned chairs - ideal for dining, socializing, working on a laptop or just relaxing. A large deck in the backyard includes a hammock, an umbrella table with chairs, and several other chairs for lounging.

There are many events and art fairs throughout the year, including the Clay, Glass and Metal show, Arts, Beats and Eats, and the Woodward Dream Cruise. The Detroit Zoo is a short drive or bike ride from here. Beaumont Hospital is only 3 miles away. Getting AroundThe Amtrak and bus stations are in downtown Royal Oak. Biking lanes along Main Street are easily accessible from the subdivision. Transportation is readily available with taxis, Uber and other similar services.
