The SpaceThe unit we are renting is in the basement of our home. You will have private off street parking and your own private entrance to the entire basement apartment. A queen sized sleigh bed accommodates two people, and a blow up air mattress can accommodate two more. The living room has a TV equipped with Roku, Netflix, AmazonPrime and internet access, which you can watch from the comfy sofa or seats. The whole suite has WIFI access. Private bathroom has a walk-in shower with toiletries/towels/iron/blow dryer. The kitchenette area is stocked with a microwave, fridge & freezer, and a K-cup coffee maker. A table for two provides seating for dining. Things to Note: Being our basement, there is noise from us and our dogs (Olive, our 60lb German Shepherd, and Odin, our mutt puppy) walking upstairs. The backyard isn't fancy, but it's great for dogs to do their business and throw a ball in. Check in @: 3PM Check out @: 11AM We're flexible in our check in/out times, as long as you let us know. Guest AccessYou will have access to the downstairs only. You can also use the yard if you have a dog. PARKING: Please park in the driveway only. Interaction with GuestsWe don't plan on bothering you, so if you have any questions, just let us know. We may occasionally meet you in the backyard, when we're out playing with our dogs. The NeighborhoodMaplewood is a wonderful neighborhood of young professionals. We're 2 minutes from the highway, 10 minutes from downtown, 8 minutes from the WashU campus and beautiful Forest Park and the Zoo. We love that we can bike and take the metro anywhere, but most often we end up spending time in the Maplewood downtown, visiting Schlafly brewery, the Side Project Cellar Tasting Room, (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN), Stone Spiral Coffee, Boogaloo or one of the many other unique establishments in the neighborhood. Our neighbors are very friendly, and we've developed a great group of friends at the dog park near by. We highly recommend the following places if you are looking to venture outside of Maplewood: Urban Chestnut Brewery on Manchester (~3mi away), Forest Park (~3mi), Central West End neighborhood (~4mi), WashU campus(~3mi), Pi Pizza on Delmar (~3mi), Meskerem Ethiopian Restaurant (~4mi), and always have other recommendations if you're interested. Getting AroundThe Metro train is located 6 blocks away to bring you from the airport, WashU, SLU, BJC Medical Center, downtown arch, and all around St. Louis. We're just south of the I64 and I170 junction. We have plenty of parking in our driveway. There are buses that come on Big Bend and go toward the University about 1 block away. We also have a metro station 6 blocks away that will drop you off at WashU or all the way downtown to the Arch and the sports games. You can also take the Metro from the airport ($2.50 each way), and you'll need to make one connection to the blue line.

The NeighborhoodThis is a great neighborhood in St. Louis, nestled among large magnificent homes along tree lined streets with dedicated bike lanes. Parking is on the street and might be difficult on late night since many graduate students live in the neighborhood but it is easy to find a spot nearby, one or two blocks. The area is very safe; mostly young families, graduate students and older long-time residents. It is also convenient to the St. Louis Galleria shopping mall, I-64, Washington University and Forest Park. Overall, this is a great deal in a great location from a great host.

When planning a visit to Saint Louis the most important decision you'll make is the area in which you stay. Choose St. Charles and you'll spend half your trip in the car instead of enjoying the sites. Too close to downtown and you'll have trouble getting the basic goods that you need. Clayton is situated 15 minutes or less from everything Saint Louis has to offer and is a worthy destination in its own right. There really is no place like it. The location is also particularly well suited if Washington University or Barnes Hospital is your reason for visiting St. Louis. The Wash U campus is two stops away on the Metrolink Light Rail. The dorms are a 4 minute drive (per Google Maps) straight down Forest Park Parkway ("South 40") or a very pleasant 20 minute walk down beautiful Wydown Blvd. Get to know your son or daughter's new friends over a home cooked meal, stay focused and flexible during a campus visit, or ensure yourself a quiet, private, space to work, think, and entertain while attending a conference or symposium. Estate 77 is a gorgeous three bedroom house at the geographic center of Clayton. The house is in immaculate condition and decorated to create a sense of home and understated elegance.

The SpaceThis room is changed from a living room. However, it has its own private space since it is divided from other rooms by curtains. Also, there is a large cabinet to separate the bed and the sofa. Furthermore, the living area is also twice as large as bedrooms. You could enjoy a wonderful time here!
