Comfortable new log beds, large soaking tub. The deck overlooks the beautiful mountain views and Soda Butte Creek. The huge wall of windows invites the forest right inside, allowing you to watch the moose, deer, and bison as they come down to the creek for a drink. Fish for native cutthroat trout right on the property!
The Northeast entrance gate to Yellowstone National Park is just 1/2 mile down the road from your driveway! A quick 20 minute drive to Lamar Valley, where you can see wolves, black and grizzly bear, herds of elk, bison, and pronghorn.
Whether our guests are families with children, extended families with grandparents, couples, or just friends looking for a fun getaway, we strive to provide memories that will last a lifetime. After a day of sightseeing or hiking in the park, Creekside at Yellowstone will provide the perfect “basecamp” to come home to every evening. Relax on the porch or in front of the fireplace, fix healthy family meals in our gourmet kitchen or grill out on the large deck and share stories and photos from the day’s adventures. An outdoor firepit is great for s'mores or a romantic glass of wine after a day of sightseeing in the park.

At the current time, this cabin does NOT have internet access but service is pending and anticipated by July. Free wifi is available 24/7 at the Cooke City Chamber of Commerce building just 3 miles away. Guest AccessGuests will have access to the entire 2100 square foot 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with the exception of the garage. Interaction with GuestsWe know the park intimately, and we are happy to sit with you and go over the map of Yellowstone and make recommendations about “must see” stops, sights, or hikes (as well as the best places to spot wolves, bears, waterfalls, etc.). We look forward to sharing our appreciation and love for this area with our guests The NeighborhoodQuick 3 minute walk to the rustic town of Silver Gate, where you'll find 2 small gift shops, a small town park, and the quaint and historic Log Cabin Cafe. Cooke City is just 3 miles down the road, where you'll find a small museum and visitor center, gift shops, and 5 restaurants. Getting AroundYou'll need a car here in Silver Gate, but the cabin is located right on the main road with plenty of room to park in the driveway. Other Things to NoteIn addition to the amazing proximity to Yellowstone National Park, there are many, many other fun activities in the Silver Gate and Cooke City area.
Hiking along the creek or to one of the three area waterfalls, horseback riding, 4-wheeling, fishing, animal watching, touring the 11,000 foot scenic Beartooth Highway, kayaking or canoeing the beautiful Beartooth lakes, visiting local restaurants and gifts shops, and the Cooke City Mining Museum, birding, visiting a firetower, mountain biking, tubing on the creek next to the house, rock-hounding (petrified wood!), driving the breathtaking Chief Joseph Highway to the historic town of Cody, WY and taking in a rodeo, river rafting, or visiting the world-class Buffalo Bill Cody Museum... or simply relaxing on the deck with a good book and watching the creek go by. The cabin has maps and guidebooks as well as games for kids and adults.
