The SpaceOur charming family cottage is as unique and special as the amazing panoramic views it provides. The wrap around porch is fully screened, with large windows to enhance the view from inside. The porch also invites guests to enjoy sleeping next to the lake with three single beds and a double bed. The porch is also where the main dinning space is. The heart of the cottage offers a living area space, with a queen sized raised bed and additional day bed. In the back are two bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed and the other with bunk beds, perfect for our younger guests! There is one bathroom complete with shower, a kitchen with gas range, oven and refrigerator, clothes line for wet clothes and electricity.
Outside is a private sandy beach, that even the smallest guests will enjoy. The water is very shallow and tappers of slowly. There are also beach toys for those guests with children. There is a full sized volleyball court complete with volleyball net (or badminton if you prefer). On the other side of the camp are rocks for climbing or sitting, canoe, and a private dock. The dock may be used for swimming, fishing (with license). Then when night-time rolls around, enjoy the stellar views of our universe with the use of the fire pit to light your night. This cottage offers the perfect space for families to reconnect, have fun and adults to unwind because there is no internet, TV or very good cell service (unless you go outside to the end of the dock) making nature, fun and yourself the full focal point of your visit! Guest AccessGuests will have access to the complete campus including cottage, private beach, private dock, canoe, and fire-pit. Interaction with GuestsWe will meet you to check you in and show you around, and see you off when you check out. The NeighborhoodThe town of New London and surrounding towns of Wilmont, Sunapee, Newbury and Sutton have much to offer. In New London there quintessential New England shops, restaurants with everything from fine dinning to pizza, farmers markets, the famous Barn Playhouse, grocery store, hospital, hiking, outing club, and ice cream shops. Journey a little farther to find hiking from easy forests walks to mountains, Lake Sunapee with boat tours, Mt. Sunapee with sky rides to the summit, Craftsman's Fair, and an adventure park which includes ropes course, ziplines, disk golf, aerial challenge course and more! Plus, Sunapee and Newbury offer more quintessential New England shops and scenery to explore! Getting AroundIt's easy to get around. Either by bike, motorcycle, or car. Directions to local attractions will be provided to you, for use during your stay. Get lost? It's New Hampshire...the locals are friendly and always willing to offer assistance. Other Things to NoteThe running water at the cottage is pumped directly from the lake without filtration and is unadvised for drinking or cooking. Please be sure to bring your own bottled water for drinking and cooking. Use of the water for washing and bathing is fine.
Linens: Please bring your own sleeping gear ie: sleeping bags, bedding, pillows etc. There are additional blankets available for extra warmth if needed.
