The SpaceFour well-appointed, spacious rooms, nestled on one side of a large, clean, historic home, right in the center of a charming river town. Guest AccessPrivate wing comprised of 2nd and 3rd floors on one side of home are available for up to 10 guests (single groups only). Entire house is centrally heated and cooled with 3 zones for maximum comfort. 2nd floor has two large comfortable bedrooms with adjoining door. First bedroom has an antique style 4 poster queen size rice bed, comfy easy chair with reading lamp, flat screen TV, plenty of closet and drawer space, a cozy gas fireplace with remote and overlooks the bustling little town of Bordentown. Second room has full size bed, writing desk, flat screen cable TV, free standing gas stove, small refrigerator and overlooks the raised bed gardens (in season) from a large balcony that connects to owner's master suite. Large, private, clean, and recently remodeled full bath, including original refinished antique claw foot tub and marble floor, completes the 2nd floor space. 3rd floor boasts the well worn character only found with original 1730's wide plank flooring and has one private full size bedroom and a smaller sitting room with private half bath, both with gabled antique glass window seats. Sitting room has a comfy futon which can expand to accommodate 2 more guests for the night and flat screen TV. 3rd floor has it's own central air and heating controls and bedroom has a small television. We also have recently added up to 4 inflatable beds for more flexibility. Can be used as 1 - 4 additional singles or 2 additional kings when put together, and should easily fit in any of the 4 rooms.
The large double living room on the first floor is equipped with one wood fireplace and one gas fireplace and is shared with the owners. Antique baby grand piano is tuned and ready for play.
Many common areas are also available for enjoying a glass of wine or a cup of coffee outdoors during your stay in pleasant weather. Free washer and dryer for stays of 3 or more nights and on-site laundry service and dry cleaning pick-up and return are also available.
BREAKFAST: Breakfast will be ready in most cases by 8 am. We provide a selection of yogurts, fruits, juices, coffees, teas, whole milk, half & half, cereals, breakfast bars, bagels, muffins, and/or donuts daily. If you need an earlier set-up or have specific dietary needs, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate. Everything that is included with your stay will be out in plain view.

Interaction with GuestsWe rely on our guests to let us know just how much they'd like to interact. If you are gathering with friends or family and just want a comfortable place to stay, we are good at staying out of your way. On the other hand, if you want that personal connection, we love meeting new people and sometimes invite our guests to enjoy a complementary glass of wine or a cocktail with us in our newly renovated private pub, located on the first floor off the kitchen, complete with wet bar, game table, dart board, pool table and it's own half bath.

The NeighborhoodStep out the front door to the center of town where you will find casual and fine dining, shops, art galleries, historic monuments and gardens, all within a few short city blocks. During the spring, summer and fall seasons, there are many festivals, events and activities around town. Perfect location for friends, couples or families in town for a wedding or special occasions. This is also great location or hub for exploring the tri-state area. Less than 5 minutes to many major highways, and within the hour you can find yourself in New York City, Philadelphia, or at the New Jersey Shores & Beaches. We are also about 15 minutes to Princeton and several other river towns, both in New Jersey and on the Pennsylvania side. Owners run two small family businesses out of the home, so it can be somewhat hectic midweek during the day, but evenings and weekends are usually very quiet. Pricing assumes double occupancy per room. 2 or more guests requesting individual bedrooms may be accommodated if space allows, but pricing may differ than rates listed. In those instances, please provide as much info as possible with your initial request and we will email a special offer/quote. Check in and check out times can be adjusted as needed in most cases if the requested time does not interfere with another reservation and/or cleaning of the rooms. Please let us know as soon as possible if you would like to request an earlier arrival or later departure time.
