It's possible with windows open you may hear traffic at times which we have no control over. Please consider if you are staying for extreme stillness, quietness. The main house is very sound and you cannot hear noise from within, nor can we hear from your end. So please no need to tip toe. We are night-owls as opposed to early risers. Think of it as being a "room" in a BNB, but with more space. We do not want you to be disappointed upon your arrival. Please be sure you understand the living arrangement before you book.
We offer beach towels, beach blankets, bikes, chairs, umbrella, totes, coolers, fishing buckets, floats, etc, whatever we have is yours. No need to pack/buy/lug all these items for a "vacation". We have pretty much everything you may need for a short stay. If its not there just ask. Your wish is our command! We do not charge a cleaning fee so we ask that you leave the place as you found it. Other Things to NoteWe are always updating our listing as we approach new findings/ideas. Check back for new features/amenities. The room/studio is private, however, we share the yard and outside shower. The "room" was built as a "mother-in-law addition" to live in year round. Though, for a few nights we think it's bearable for a twosome. Short-term rentals only with a 3 night maximum. The day bed is a real mattress, as is the trundle. The trundle is not a pop-up. It pulls out but hugs the floor. During the day it acts as a sofa. Each bed sleeps ONE. There is no A/C. There are 3 fans. A ceiling, window, and a table oscillating. We try our best to use 100% white cotton linens and intend to keep furbishing the beds with them when possible. All linens are air dried. Please use the same beach towels during your stay. They will be fine for 2 days. Also we offer a beach blanket. Please do not take the white spreads from the beds for the beach. Strip beds (only mattress covers if soiled) and place all used linens in a pile, as we do our own laundry and it is very helpful to have you follow this procedure. You will find a binder loaded with short-cuts and local eateries. A menu/suggestion bin contains info. Check it out!
