The SpaceAlthough the cottage is small in stature, it is humongous in peace, serenity, positive energy and a killer view!
The cottage consist of about 1200sq feet. 2 bedrooms are next to each other with a private door for each room. There is a full size bath with shower & Jacuzzi, that is shared by both bedrooms.

I rent one of the two bedrooms, and I utilize the other.
*I feel the space is best suited for parent/daughter/son, friends, solo or business travelers, or for a couple who perhaps is just looking to get away & explore. **I've had requests from people who are coming for wedding functions, funerals, etc., if both rooms can be rented! Yes, they can be. Best suited for a family of 4. You can book both rooms, separately, and if they are available. In that case, I will be in the basement downstairs. Please note, there will be a $50 per night charge for both rooms.

** Guest AccessEnjoy the cottage, with it's great views of the lake, books in living room, quotes of inspiration throughout the house, and my favorite spot is where I call the reading room. Where you can look out onto the lake & nature, while sitting on a very comfy white loveseat.
* Will provide a light breakfast of French organic coffee, tea, oatmeal, rice cereal(gluten-free), other cereal, milk, almond milk, fruit, i.e., bananas, or what is in season in the fruit bowl, bottled water, and cookies for you to help yourself. In summer pitcher of lemon or lime water, espresso(upon request & if I'm around to make it! :)
*No cooking, but you are more then welcome to bring food & put it in fridge. There is a microwave to warm up your food.
* For Longer stays, we can discuss kitchen use!
*I will prepare the coffee pot at night, so that in the morning all you have to do is, turn the switch on, and enjoy! Interaction with GuestsI will be present during your stay and will assist in anyway you need, or if I'm out, you can reach me by phone at all times.
* I understand when traveling some guests may be seeking reflection time, others may want to socialize. Either way, I respect my guests. From my experience in traveling, I feel the best way to get to know an area, is by just exploring on my own and finding my own treasures & memories, or going on a tour!
*For those who may be without a car, If I'm available and you are arriving nearby, as a courtesy, I will pick you up. The Neighborhood*JBJ Soul Kitchen very close by ( John Bon Jovi Soul Kitchen) great place to have dinner or brunch for just a $10/person. See their website
Local downtown area provides restaurants, many great pastry shops & bakeries, one being Antoinette Boulangerie. great casual & upscale bars, theatres, live music, dancing, shopping, water sports, fishing, and many other attractions. Marine Park has many activities on the water& out of the water.
*Red Bank food & wine walk. (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) for dates, as they tend to change.
Purchase a ticket for $35/person and spend the afternoon strolling through our beautiful riverfront town while sampling food and wine from Red Bank's fine food establishments. Tickets are sold online.
*15 - 30 minute drive to various well-known beaches (Pier Village, Sea Bright, Sandy Hook, Belmar, Asbury Park, Point Pleasant boardwalk about 30 minutes away. Six Flags Great Adventure about 34 miles away, Atlantic City about 84 miles away

(URL HIDDEN) Getting Around* I am Minutes away from the Garden State Parkway.Train station, and Academy Bus, are a few minutes away. Ferry from Manhattan, Yellow Cab Service right by the train station.
I am 1 mile away from the beginning of the downtown area. about 5 minutes by car, about a 20minute walk.
I find walking is the best way to explore any area. Other Things to Note**Please note; although my requirement is 2 night stay, at times I may be able to accommodate 1 night stay. All you have to do is ask. :)
*In my travels and at times staying at 4 or 5 star places, one thing that was important to me, and that was missing, was having very clean, crisp sheets, and pillowcases. Being this is important to me, I do my best, at providing my guests with clean, crisp sheets, & pillowcases. I even give them a quick ironing. :)

*No rugs anywhere in the home (for those who have allergies)
There is a $10 per night charge after the 1st person. This is to cover water, towels, essentials, etc. It is reflected on the calendar when you book!
