The SpaceCheck in time: 4:00 PM or after.
Check out time: 10:00 AM, no later. Need to get ready for next guest. Thank you.
Sheets, pillows, blankets, bath towels, hand towel, wash cloth, soap, shampoo, and conditioner come with the furnished room.
To assure ultimate protection and sanitary conditions the mattresses are fully encased in a zippered barrier blocking, antimicrobial, waterproofing, and temperature balancing fabric.
One queen bedroom is on the 1st floor and just steps away from the bathroom. The other gueen bedroom is on the 2nd floor. The bathroom is shared amoung guests.
The thermostat is set on a comfortable temperature of 71 to 72 whether the heat or air conditioning is on so I ask that you do not open windows. Many people suffer from allergies so I keep my home as allergen free as possible with the use of an air purifier and high quality filters.
The front patio and the backyard are cozy areas to relax, sip on a drink, read, have something to eat, get a tan, or just enjoy the beauty of the yard. Come out of your room and enjoy the serenity of the outdoors. Guest AccessYou may use the kitchen minimally (cooking a main meal, microwaving, heating up pre-made items). Light cooking only. No spicey/aromatic food since the home is shared with other renters. When using the kitchen you are responsible to clean up pots, pans, dishes, glasses, stovetop, counters, sink, utensils, and any food messes. No cooking for people who are not staying as airbnb renters for dine in or take out.
I do not provide any food, condiments, oils, or spices for cooking. You need to buy whatever ingredients you use to cook with. There is space in the refrigerator and in the pantry room on the counter to place your food during your time here.
Chilled bottled water is not for cooking (or filling water bottles)...only for glasses of water for drinking.
Only airbnb renters staying in my home may use the indoor and outdoor spaces. If you have visitors coming to meet you then you will have to plan your gathering at another location.
You may use the living room in the home as well as the back yard and front yard.
Renters can park their vehicles in the driveway if the space is available otherwise there is space on the street in front of the house.
SORRY ... the washer/dryer are not available to guests. You will need to go to the closest laundromat.
You will find an iron, flashlight, first-aid kit, body insect repellent, rags and cleaner for wiping off outside furniture on the counter, in a basket, in the laundry room on the counter. Please put any dirty rags in the laundry room sink. The ironing board is located in the wall cabinet, just open and pull down. Please unplug the hot iron when finished, place it on the counter with the cord... to cool down... and close the ironing board.
Just so you know ... the laundry room is a dog friendly area and houses the dog's food amoung other pet items. Interaction with GuestsPlease be aware that there may be other guests here the same time you are here and you should be respectful of the shared space as well as the level of noise. Please when closing the doors of your room, the bathroom, or when coming in and out of the house... turn the handle first then pull the door in so it shuts quietly and gently.
If you need something during your stay just ask. I will try to assist you. I am friendly and social though sometimes very busy. I look forward to you sharing my home and wish to make it a pleasant experience for you during your rental period. Other Things to NoteBella Baby is a sweet, tiny dog that loves attention, gets baths often, and does not shed. My little 6 pound toy poodle who by the way...loves the guests... is clean, allergen free, and a pleasure to have around. Bella Baby may bark when she first meets you and also each time you walk into the home but she is just asking for you to say hello, pick her up, and give her a hug. When she gets excited she coughs due to an enlarged heart. With some calm-down time and her breathing will relax.
