You can even explore the lake in one of two included kayaks! On sunny days, the large deck is likely to be the heart of the home. Thanks to the open floor plan, it’s easy for those lounging in the sitting area or prepping meals in the kitchen to hear and see anyone outside. The big, private yard entertains kids of all ages and can be overseen from the deck. When your guests want to stay outside all afternoon, they can enjoy lunch and snacks under the deck umbrella or at the backyard picnic tables. And did we mention there’s a lakeside fire pit?
Tie up your own boat on the rustic private dock, or rent one for the ultimate Finger Lakes experience. (Just be sure to brush up on the laws governing the lake.) Imagine dipping your toes from your own exclusive dock while soaking in expansive views of Conesus Lake. It’s the perfect place to wake up to an invigorating swim, or spend lazy days tanning and chatting next to the water. That’s why plenty of beach towels, sunscreen, and 2 kayaks with life vests are included in the rental!
Your group will feel right at home in the fully decorated, completely updated common areas. The beautiful refinished hardwood floors reflect the fantastic light of the living room, while sliding glass deck doors and ceiling fans allow fresh air to flow through the open floor plan. Everyone will congregate in the primary seating area thanks to its ample comfortable seating. From this room facing the lake, unobstructed waterfront views will make you like you’re truly on vacation -- even on gray-weather days. Enjoy High-Speed WIFI, Cable, and a 55" Smart TV, to keep up on emails or kick back to enjoy some high-tech movie time. The smart setup makes it easy to sign into (or sign up for) Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, and your other favorite streaming accounts.
Since the dining room looks out onto the water, you never have to feel like you’re leaving the lake! The contemporary wood dining table Seats 6. While you’re on the road, be sure to pick up some local sweet corn – a staple of summertime on the lake. On lazy days, order takeout from one of the local favorites listed in our guidebook. If you want to pack the full-size fridge full of gorgeous local produce, take a 15-20-minute drive to the Geneseo Farmers Market, open Thursdays from 3 to 6:30 pm June 23rd through October 20th.
KITCHEN & HALF BATH
Whether you’re dishing up takeout or crafting a celebratory dinner, this full kitchen with dishwasher and full-size appliances has everything you need. There’s plenty of counter space, and the open floor plan makes it easy to chat with loved ones sitting in the dining room. You’ll find everything you need for your morning coffee, along with all the essentials to make your family feel at home. Your most skilled home bartender can mix drinks while staying out of the way at the mini bar. A conveniently located half bath off the kitchen will help you keep an eye on your cooking, even when you have to step away. The high-efficiency front-loading washer and dryer – which you’re welcome to use -- are also tucked away here, behind a closet door.
UPSTAIRS BEDROOM & BATH
The full second-story bathroom is designed for relaxation with an antique-style soaker tub. It will give you a spa-like Finger Lakes experience with no extra cost! Feel free to lose track of time during an indulgent soak -- other guests can use the 2 additional bathrooms. The 2 private bedroom features one queen bed and two full sized beds. The rooms have both ceiling fan and window AC units to sleep 6 comfortably.
LAKE LEVEL - LIVING ROOM
The lake level of the house has its own sitting area that includes a fireplace. Guests can escape to this hideaway to read, nap on the pull-out daybed, and enjoy some peace and quiet. This extra “living room” is also a great place for kids to play.
BEDROOM & BATH
The smaller third bedroom features a queen bed and is located at Lake Level, overlooking the water. Thanks to a full bathroom, guests can enjoy privacy and avoid having to go upstairs in the middle of the night. The stone-tiled glass shower and double vanity sink give the lake-level’s full bathroom a luxurious feel. This bathroom is ultra convenient for those spending time outside in the yard or on the water. At the Southeast end of Conesus Lake, the house provides access to everything on the lake, along with the convenience of neighboring towns. You can ski, hike, tour wineries, rent a boat, kayak, swim, or just spend a romantic weekend in a private lakeside getaway.
In addition to access to the entire 3-story house and its outdoor space, roadside parking is included for three cars. The home's washer and dryer are yours to use as needed. Your stay also includes exclusive access to the backyard with private patio, lakefront beach area, and private dock. Please feel at home enjoying the furnished outdoor living space, including the grills, beachside sitting, and lakefront beach area.
The lake level closet is off limits to guests. Interaction with GuestsA welcome binder will be available upon arrival with our recommendations for several great places to eat and visit during your stay. We’ve also included menus of our favorite take-out restaurants, just in case you want to stay in but order out. We can be reached by cell phone at any time during your stay.

2. If I am unable to greet you, or for late arrivals, you can request a unique key code to be used at your convenience to gain entry to the home.
3. You can reach me at any time by cell phone. The NeighborhoodConesus Lake is a friendly community where you can relax, enjoy life on the water, and visit nearby attractions. The lifestyle here is laid-back and, for those who enjoy it, very active. The house is located less than 15 minutes away from Lakeview, Livonia, Geneseo, and the East Side of Conesus Lake. Additionally, this area boasts the "Grand Canyon of the East" -- Letchworth State Park! Want more opportunities for memorable excursions? Be sure to consider the ski resorts, wineries, spas, antique stores, golf courses, ballooning, museums, and other signature Finger Lakes fun spots. For a fun night of dinner and live music next to the water, there’s a relaxed pub just 5 minutes away.

Geneseo Village – A Rich History
Designated a National Historic Landmark Village, Geneseo is "one of the most remarkably preserved villages in northwestern New York" (source: National Historic Landmarks Program). This quaint Upstate New York village is just a 15-minute drive from the home.
A walk down Main Street (designated a Historic District in 1977) takes visitors past many 19th century homes, churches, and the venerable Bear Monument. Explore the art gallery and a variety of interesting shops. Browse your way through books, clothing, regional crafts, gifts, jewelry, music, and toys at your leisure. Hungry? There are plenty of popular eateries to let you get off your feet and take a delicious break.
