Donameer Farm is a private horse farm and camp, where DOGS CAN RUN FREE! Located on 90 scenic park-like acres, just a short drive to many interesting sites, antiques shops, wineries and sparkling lakes and rolling farms. Corning Glass Museum, Watkins Glen, and the Wind Mill Farm and Craft Market are just some of the area's highlights. We are a scenic 17 miles to Watkins Glen for the Track or the State Park for a hike. We offer comfortable accomodations in our Guest Cottage, fully furnished with an efficiency kitchen with glass cooktop, microwave, refrigerator and toaster oven. A four-poster bed handcrafted from barn beams from an old tobacco barn built by a great grandfather, is a focal point, with table and chairs, couch, flat screen tv, bureau and a picture window overlooking our gardens and fields. Outdoor space includes a front porch with comfortable seating, stone patio with umbrella table, firepit and lounge chairs for sun bathing or star gazing! The Milky Way is right over head!. A gas grill will cook those steaks to perfection. Enjoy the view from the porch of deer, hawks, wild turkey and fox. All linens included. Sorry, we do not have wifi at our mountain retreat. You have access to wifi at the Hammondsport Library and many of our in-town restaurants. Late arrivals are ok, just let us know and we will leave the light on!
DOGS STAY FREE at Donameer Farm, the perfect spot for a DOG VACATION! We welcome friendly dogs. Our Jack Russells, Sophie, Dottie and Sheashea welcome fuzzy faces and will show you the trails! You and your dog will enjoy the off-leash experience at the farm, plenty of smells, space to run, pond for a swim, and plenty of fresh air! Your dog will sleep well at night, content with the day's adventures! Don't forget his favorite travel bed and toys. We do request that your dog be up to date on his shots including rabies.

Located on top of Mount Washington, in a quiet valley with other farms, on a quiet country road. From our guest cottage a short walk to the pond and our crafty bass can provide the fisherman with hours of tranquility and maybe dinner! Perhaps you will see our great blue heron who visits the pond and our creek. If you like hunting for fossils, our creek contains the evidence of pre-ice age ocean life.
We welcome friendly, well-behaved dogs who love the out of doors! Our trails will give you and your canine friend hours of hiking pleasure and exercise. The cottage is set back far from our road and is a safe setting for your dog to explore off-leash without you worrying about traffic. You both will sleep well! Our dogs Sophie, Dottie, and Shea love company and will share the trails with your favorite buddy. We require that your dog is up to date on all innoculations including rabies.
For the horseman looking for a new place to ride their own horse, we offer pasture and stabling and great trails for trail riding. The mountain biker will also find our trails fun and challenging along with spectacular scenic rides throughout our lake region.

There, in the small village, you can sample from many restaurants, shop for neat sportswear, art, antiques and local souvenirs.
